Very responsive - quick to come out. Able to diagnose the problem accurately and provide recommendations on how to fix the issue.

Edit: issue was fixed by a local plumber for $200. It took the plumber 30 SECONDS to figure out all I needed was a refrigerant recharge. Bishop wanted $545 before even quoting the cost of fixing, which is now obvious was done to run up the total cost on an unsuspecting customer. AVOID!

I called after seeing this business was highly rated. I don’t normally leave reviews but I figure if it saves someone a headache and $90, then it’s worth five minutes of time.

On my call, I was notified that there would be a $90 dispatch fee to send someone out - to which I agreed to. Once the technician arrived, he took a quick 30 second glance at the unit, pulled out a tablet, and explained there would be a $454 (FOUR FOFTY FOUR) diagnostic fee. I was upset and told the technician that when I scheduled the appointment, no one mentioned such a large fee over the phone. He said he “doesn’t know what scheduling tells people when scheduling appointments”.

Mind you, this diagnostic fee is before any actual quote is done on a fix. I declined the diagnostic and paid the dispatching $90 fee. This is really shady business behavior. Why would a business not disclose a $454 diagnostic fee when scheduling an appointment? It would have saved me money and time, and could have called one of dozens of other places instead. I could only imagine that it’s on purpose, so you would be inconvenienced either by having to call another business or pay their absurd prices. I should have gone with a local HVAC business instead of a large corporate one like Bishop.

I had a sump back up and 2" of water in my basement. Of 8 plumbing companies I called, Bishop was the only company that had an emergency technician call me back and was at my house within an hour. Pat was awesome. Professional and thorough. Great job and great cleanup. They're my go to plumber from now on.

We had a good experience with Bishop - quick response after we had a basement flood and needed a water heater replaced. Pat, our repairman, was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done.

I contacted Bishop Plumbing to fix my kitchen faucet and rod out the slow bath tub drain. Gina made me an appointment for the next day. James came out right on time. He only took about 5-10 mins to rod out the tub, then started on the kitchen faucet. He showed me the bad part, and offered to come back after the part was ordered. I asked if he had the same or similar faucet in stock. He checked, and a nearby tec delivered it to the house within 20-30 mins ! It was a very close match, and it is running great. Thanks so much to James and The staff at Bishop Plumbing for your great service, and making my life a lot easier.

On the Bradford White site to find a pro asked for a quote from Bishop Plumbing. They are not able to provide a quote unless they come out and charge you to get a quote. Every other plumber on the site was able to provide a quote and not charge a fee. I would NEVER do business with a business like this. It’s a water heater instal in an unfinished basement.

Bishop has been doing several jobs at our home, including sump pump and gas line work. They are always professional, reliable and friendly. I fully trust the bishop plumbers with any work in our house.

The window of time for my appointment was between 10am to noon. They showed up at 1:30pm after I called twice. I needed to be at work by 2pm. Then, I was told I needed to pay $545 for a diagnostic to figure out why my air conditioner was not working (it was 2 years old). In the end I paid a total of $850 for a bad wire and had them replace the switch which I was told was still working but very old. Total scam! Never again with this company.

Bill is very professional and excellent in diagnosing and solving the water heater issue we had. He walked me through the process and explained well the recommended solution.

So thankful for Bishop Plumbing! Our house is on a well and septic system, which can be tricky to manage. We had a major clog, and Joe and his crew from Bishop pulled out every trick in the book to find and fix it.

Our home was built in the 1950s, and the plumbing is a maze of pipes added over several decades—but they handled it with patience and skill. They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and didn’t stop until the job was done right.

We’ll absolutely be using Bishop Plumbing again!

Joe performed specifically what we needed and more! I mentioned my outside faucet was not working properly and he said “I have
The part in the truck!” He fixed that and the piping underneath my bathroom sink ( he noticed it was improperly installed )

Then he put in a new bath faucet and shower trim for me ( I had the kit ). Then he cleared the bathtub drain and unclogged the kitchen faucet trap. I didn’t mention, he was here to just drain the water heater. Joe did a years worth of plumbing in one visit!

I cannot figure out how anyone is giving them anything other than 1 star. Interesting, they have only a 1.5 rating on yelp????
Anyway, the place is a total scam. Charged us thousands of dollars and claimed they found the break. Turns out the x he was referring to was actually from a tree trimming job done the week earlier. He came to the door 3 times. Each time looking for more money to do further investigation. In the end they never found the cause. We than had a local independent guy come out. He found the break and didn't even charge us for the camera use. Bishop only offered us $100 compensation. However, if we took the $100 we had to sign a waiver stating we would not publish bad reviews. Well that says it all. We refused the $100 just so we would be able to warn others in our neighborhood of the sketchy services. We care more about being a good neighbor than getting $100. STAY AWAY!!!

I was referred to Bishop Plumbing by Carrozza Plumbing and I'm so thankful for their professionalism and great work ethic. Joe and Lionel were amazing, I had tree roots and the previous company did not do the job well. Bishop does things RIGHT, they did a fantastic job and Joe kept me informed during the entire painful process. Thank you guys!! We appreciate your hard work.

Scott and Bill came to fix our bathtub drain. Our son put a toy wash cloth down it during bath time. They discovered that our plumbing was out of date, replaced it and did extra rodding to find the difficult wash cloth. They also advised replacing a cast iron pipe , unbeknownst to us, had a huge crack on top. They spent extra time making sure everything was right and working properly. We so appreciate their attention to detail and thoroughness.

We called Bishops to have my mom toilet fixed. Thinking it was due to be repaired or replaced. The tech Joe S. saw that is was working just fine but needed a deep clean. After the cleaning was completed Joe had my mom see that everything was working perfectly!
Asked about something for my own self personally & he was nice enough to give me a quote so that I could save up some money. Mentioned that we had coupons and he worked with those . We definitely recommend Bishops for your plumbing needs especially in the Bay Colony area they know how everything is set.

BISHOP!!!!!!! James and Scott are very nice guys. They came to fix my heater. Scott was very teachable he explained every step to me that they were doing and what the problem was. They fixed, cleaned and wiped the heater down. My heater was very dirty and dusty. I would recommend these 2 guys!!! I also would like to say it was a tight squeeze where my furnace was but they made it work!! Great job guys ..
