Good first time experience. I had an issue with my HVAC, they were able to come out and fix same day. Reasonable prices! Tech was very nice and wore shoe covers in my home. I would have liked a little more proactive communication about service times, but they were very responsive to my texts to them so that helped a lot. Overall great place!

We were referred to Intelligent by our handyman as we have a master toilet that is 7 years old and causing a slow leak. I called Intelligent Service yesterday to have a plumber come out to look at the toilet and also our outdoor spigots. Scheduling was a breeze as I called on Wednesday and was able to get on the schedule for today. I wasn't given a specific time of when they were coming but I always make sure to be at home for these kind of things. A little after 8:30 am, I receive a texr, email and phone call that our technician was on the way. Lowden was assigned to look at the toilet and 2 outdoor spigots was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained what were the issues he found and the solutions to each one. I was given options and shown the price for each option so that we could decide on how best to proceed. The estimates were emailed within 15 minutes after Lowden left and I was able to call the office back to tell them which options we were going with and they're coming next Wednesday to do the work. We have been using a different plumbing company and lately, we have been feeling that they aren't as good as they used to be. I'm glad we were referred to Intelligent Service and I can't wait to see the end results of this project.

My worst fear came true: our *only* toilet started to work ineffectively. Long story short: a scrubbing brush, hidden by cleaning suds escaped down the toilet hole (when being poured down it) and caused major issues.

The plumber Intelligent sent - Lowden - was incredible. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and a quick worker. He explained the issue in a manner without condescension nor ridicule. And although we had to replace the toilet entirely, he completed said job rapidly and competently.

We will definitely reach out again to Intelligent Service - and ask for Lowden - if we have future plumbing issues.

We've been using Intelligent for years, and they always do a great job! Fast service, friendly & knowledgeable technicians, highly qualified, and outstanding communication. When our heater went out today, they were out the same day. Can't recommend them highly enough!

We had a broken pipe under our basement floor. Technicians arrived on Monday morning, thoroughly diagnosed the issues and provided a detailed estimate. On Thursday, only three days later, the technicians arrived on time and, by the end of the day, the problem was fixed.Throughout that day they kept me informed, both warning me of potential problems (it's an old house) and calming me with their breadth of experience and professionalism. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Intelligent Service.

We had our hot water heater go out. We picked Intelligent because they had working hours on the weekends and didn’t charge extra for weekend hours. Trevor came out to look at the issue with the hot water heater. I personally thought it was the Thermopile, so I ran to hardware store replaced and issue still existed. Trevor diagnosed it with a bad gas valve and said he can replace the heater part for $850 or he’d recommend a brand new water heater. He said if he replaces the part, he will most likely need a brand new water heater anyway in the next few months to at least a year. He then went on to look at the boiler, which was about 40 years old. Now keep in mind this boiler does work, and I was not planning to have any service on it whatsoever. Over the years when I’ve had the maintenance guys over to look at the boiler all companies would not even touch it scared that they were going to break it even more and then have to owe me a brand new boiler. He then went on to say he could give us a deal. We can kind of throw in a hot water heater. If you get a new boiler, we can install it this week. So we thought about it a little bit more and we wanted to go ahead and do it because not only the savings but what if the boiler went out in the middle of winner then we’re going to pay extra charges for the winner cause they’re gonna be busy and it’s probably Probably gonna be more expensive.

So we went on to replace the boiler and the hot water heater hot water heater heater was replaced that day which was perfect. It took about an hour and a half. He then said someone from Intelligent would call me to set up the install of the new boiler. Two guys came out to install the new boiler and they brought another guy Neal who helped me I’ll walk through the process of what’s gonna happen and what they’re gonna install what they’re going to leave in place Place and not touched due to the fact that I made damage didn’t even more. Install took about 78 hours they did not have to come back the next day except to change out the thermostat just because that was kind of them. We had a small issue with the damper, but luckily they replaced that within the next day or two and now going on 24 hours to 48 without any issues.

Overall, I was very happy with their service very happy with their service service man. They were very polite and they explained what they were doing. They were in and out. They kept the place clean so I was very Happy with them overall.

Intelligent Service was great! We ended up needing extensive work done and they made it as easy on us as possible. Their communication was top notch with us AND on our behalf with the insurance company.

Jeff is a phenomenal plumber! It was very difficult to install our new water heater. Jeff was very patient and took his time while dealing with all the issues that arose.

I am truly impressed by Bishop Plumbing! After having 2 other companies not show, I found Bishop. I was impressed by the professionalism from the start. Scheduling the appointment was very easy, they were able to work around my schedule. I received a phone call when they were on their way. The plumber showed up, in a nice uniform, covered his shoes and wore a mask. He also cleaned up when he was done. He went over everything with me, and was very knowledgeable. He completed the work, under the estimated time. I will defiantly be using Bishop Plumbing in the future as I found them very responsive & trustworthy!

Bishop plumbing was able to help us with a kitchen drain backup issue - tree roots. They allowed us to take steps that were minimally invasive and add on if that didn’t fix the issue. Plumber James was knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. Also sympathetic to the situation of being without a kitchen sink! Would highly recommend Bishop.

We had bishop plumbing out today to add a silcock and shut off valve for our leaking outdoor spigot . He also added an access panel for the shut off valve. Joe S. Jeff was able to give us a new water heater despite its difficult-to-get-out positioning in our basement space. He first explained what he was going to do and then did the work neatly and quickly. He was pleasant and informative and he certainly brightened our day!

My 96 year old mother was referred to Bishop Plumbing by a neighbor who was already having work done by them. She needed a valve replaced under her sink. The company was kind enough to wave the initial contact fee since they were already on-site. She was told the amount it would cost ahead of the work being done, but being anxious about completing the project, she agreed.

The cost for one valve and one hour of work was over $600. Seems excessive even with today's higher prices, and a good lesson for future Bishop clients. Unfortunately this lesson was at the expense of a 96 year old.

Her building manager, who regularly referred residents to Bishop, said "Absolutely never again!"

We had Joe come into to fix a rusted trap
in a pipe under the kitchen sink. He not only fixed the problem, but discovered a broken stack pipe that he repaired. Everything was done in one day and he cleaned up his mess when he was finished. I’m impressed!

Excellent service and work. I have used Bishop for a number of service calls and they have always inspected, evaluated and resolved my plumbing issues in a cost effective and timely manner. Jeff, our service person, treated our home like it was his own. He always provides us with accurate information and answers all of our questions. He gets to work and doesn’t waste time.
