We’ve had Marcin from Gridline Electric complete several projects in our home, and we could not be more impressed. He outfitted our brand-new kitchen with all of the electrical work from scratch and later took on the very tricky job of retrofitting an in-unit microwave when we decided to switch appliances months later. Beyond that, he has installed a two-story foyer light, new recessed lighting in our upstairs hallway, outlets throughout the house, and a new dining room fixture.

Marcin is incredibly dependable, thorough, and knowledgeable. He approaches every project - big or small -with the same level of professionalism and care. It’s rare to find someone so skilled and reliable, and we feel fortunate to have him as our go-to electrician. We highly recommend him and Gridline Electric!

We hired BBP Plumbing to install a water filtration system. They recommended a HALO Defender which remove lead, chlorine, sediments. They did a great job.

I had a horrible experience with this company. Radovan was sent by Home Warranty of America. He diagnosed the issue as the wax ring having to be replaced. I was to pay $75.00 per the warranty agreement the wax ring was covered, he then goes on to tell me he is going to charge me $250.00 as a "toilet lifting fee". I told him I would not pay that and sent him away, not before writing the $75.00 fee for the visit,and I didn't even get the part. So now I am back to where I started having to hire a plumber . I have made a complaint through the warranty company and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I 100% believe he tried to scam me because I am a single woman who "wouldn't know any better".

We had Bbp plumbing out for two separate occasions. First to diagnose a drainage issue in Our 2nd floor bathroom. Radovan was quick to respond and able to fix the problem right away. The second time they were out was to add a waterline for our fridge, again it was quick and they were able to complete the work very nicely. Would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

We had the displeasure of having Radovan at our house today to diagnose and repair an extremely strong sewage odor in our basement bathroom. BBP Plumbing was chosen to service this issue by our home warranty provider.

His "diagnosis" was that our floor drain (in a different room) was completely dry and that is what's causing the sewer odor. Never mind that (a) he assessed that the drain was dry (hint: it wasn't) from 5 feet away, while standing, and without removing the decorative cover from the drain, (b) I have the drain line from my condensate pump running to that floor drain for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of making sure it does not go dry (and that drain line empties water into the floor drain EVERY DAY), (c) it does not smell like sewer in the laundry room where the floor drain is located, but ONLY smells in the nearby bathroom, or (d) that we've had sewer odor issues in that bathroom TWICE before, and each time it was found to be related to a plastic repair flange that fits into the cast iron drain pipe that goes through the concrete foundation and into the dirt.

If you open the door to the bathroom, the sewage smell hits you like a WAVE. He said he smelled absolutely nothing. I'm...just floored. He then suggested perhaps we have a cracked drain stack and that the smell (which he just denied existed at all) was coming through the wall. He literally said that an air gap around or in the repair flange could not cause a sewer smell because "the toilet is bolted down tight". I guess he doesn't know why wax rings exist, or how a repair flange for a cast iron pipe works? So he then suddenly claims he *does* smell something in the laundry room, where the drain is located.

In regards to his diagnosis, we told him multiple times that the drain was NOT dry if only he'd look directly into it, but he wouldn't have it, told us to pour water into the drain, and left.

I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Edit: Reply to owner: I stand by my review 100%. I know for a fact the floor drain was not dry because I checked it myself. Either your employee is grossly incompetent or lied to my wife's face because he wanted to move on to the next job. Either way, completely unacceptable.

I have used BBP twice. Once for a TERRIBLY clogged kitchen drain. Radovan came out & did such an amazing job, I had no problem calling them again and having Florin come out to replace a leaky sump pump pit. Both Florin & Radovan were very professional and did exactly what they said. Very neat & clean, never knew they were here. Radovan covered his shoes the minute he entered my house. Highly recommend, will definitely call them in the future.

BBP Plumbing and Florin is my go-to plumber. I’ve used them on large and small jobs from ejector pits and waste piping to water heater installation. Florin can clearly diagnose and explain an issue drawing from his experience, and he knows the plumbing code inside and out. The Arlington Heights inspector even complimented the quality of his work after a large permit job. I refer everyone to BBP Plumbing!

I have a home warranty and they referred me to this company. They said they will be reaching out the next day to repair a simple drain line. My home warranty company talked to them and they confirmed the assignment the same day. This is the 4th day and they didn't even call me. Today I called my home warranty company and they said their truck broke down and some other bad excuses. My home warranty immediately referred another plumber and they just called me and set an appointment for tomorrow. If this is the type of customer service this company is providing, please stay away from them...

We had sewer back up and called for help. Radavon was very helpful on the phone and came within the hour. He was able to fix the issue and recommend a scope to go further out as we had some old piping along with very mature trees in the front yard. We were able to find some roots that were blocking our line.

They talked through everything with my husband and myself. We also ultimately decided to add an access point in our front yard.

We live in an older home and ours was in the basement. Having this installed has helped in case we need them to come back, they have an easy access and do not have to come into our house to clean the pipes out. It all can be done outside.

This is a great company and would highly recommend.
