Constraction reviews in Naperville, Illinois

Amazing professionals. Excellent job. I highly recommend HI-5 to anyone who needs roofing work done. These guys are the best!

Working with Hi-5 was a great experience and their workmanship on roofing is grade A. I will definitely use them with future projects.

Nice people to deal with . Tear off & roof put on in 1 day. Guy walked around property for 2 hours picking up stray nails. I only found 2. Highly recommend using them.

Luis and his team are very professional and responded almost immediately to my repair request. I fully recommend HI 5 roofing ro anyone that needs any job done!!!

My new roof and gutters look fantastic! Great people to work with. Outstanding clean up after the work is completed. Definitely recommended to others.

Super experience from quote to completion! The salesman (Seth) was very knowledgable and accommodating, and the hard-working crew arrived promptly, installed my beautiful roof expertly, and left things immaculate. A+!!!

I called for chimney flashing repair and ended up getting a new roof covered by insurance. They knocked it out in one day and they did a great job cleaning up. Would definitely recommend.

Professional installation and cleanup. Competitive price.
What sold me is Seth Rife's presentation of the Atlas integrated system of products used:
-6 ft ice dam barrier sealed to sheath at gutter and valleys
-tough synthetic underlayment (vs thin tar paper)
-heavy duty stater strip roll at roof edges
-pre-cut hip and roof edge shingles (vs pieces of tabs)
-large one piece architectural shingles (3-D appearance is a second layer instead of individual
tabs)
-ScotchGuard algae stain protection
A written warranty is provided
I noted they use a crane for the heavy lifting and scaffolding for safety and for ease of accurate installation

They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves every day.. these guys work very hard. i would be happy to recommend them to anyone. We had roofers that would not even go up there because it was too highly pitched for them.. i would be happy to be a reference.

Hi-5 Roofing did a great job. Prompt, friendly, and fast.
No problems during installation, and cleaned up nicely.
I recommended them to my neighbor.

Luis Trejo, his father (who is his on-site production/QC manager), his tuck-pointer, supplier, and every guy on his crew are PHENOMENAL!! I was in contracting for 18 years in that area, and if I had known him, I would have used him exclusively as my roofing sub.
Not only was he prompt and reliable at returning calls and getting back to me with a price (well under the other roofer's price -- from ThumbTack), everything else came off exactly on-time as well. I had to leave within ten days of signing with him, and wanted the job done by then. I even added skylights and a garage roof, and he still got it done before my flight.
I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Top notch company. We had our roof replaced, so tear off 2 layers and install new. Plus we have a flat roof over our patio that was tore off and replaced. Excellent job . Job complete in one day. Clean up every area they were in.

I had this company come out and do an estimate for my roof. the guy told me that it would either be about $1,700 to fix the problem or he recommended me getting a whole new roof. claimed he took pictures of the roof and the issues but yet he could not bring them up when I asked to see them. I had a different company come out and do an inspection and told me that it was a very minor issue that would be about $50 for repair and sent me about 10 pictures of the actual damage to my roof. so if I would have let the other company fix my roof for $1,700 they wouldn't even if fix the actual problem that I was having and I would still have a roof that is leaking. they assume that you're just going to do whatever they recommend because most people don't know about roof work. All that needed to be done was sealing a few nails, but yet he recommended me getting a whole new roof for a $50 minor issue repair.

Hi-5 Roofing receives a 5 - Star rating due to their prompt and exceptional service. Their quality craftmanship is top notch and would recommend them for any roofing and siding needs without hesitation. Honest, hardworking, and solid communication through the entire project...thank you Luis and crew!

This company is very professional from start to finish. Seth gave us our estimate and even came back a second time to educate us on many aspects of roofing we didn't know or understand. Luis, the owner, stepped in to help us get the right paperwork to the insurance company. Even if insurance wasn't approved, I would have gone with Hi-5. The crew was prompt and effecient. The job was done in one day and after the cleaned up, I couldn't even tell they had been there, except for my nice new roof. Now I can sleep at night when it rains. Thank you HI-5 Roofing!

Luis and the team at Hi 5 Roofing were 100% professional. After hiring thru Home Depot and getting 5 failed inspections by the city plumbing department and having their " supervisor " say " I didn't know there was a specific temperature to set the hot water at... did YOU? " we were very skeptical of any contractors doing work for us - BUT HI -5 ROOFING ROCKS! We were given solid information, several possibilities for the scope and depth of repairs and upgrades and ALWAYS felt very confident from their extensive knowledge of the type of business they do. The pre-inspection was very thorough, they really got into the nuts and bolts of the physical structure so they could show us, the homeowners what is good, what needs replacing and how they would go about repairing the structure. They never hit any ' surprises' because they researched the job extremely thoroughly so they knew what to expect. The homeowners two doors down who do home repair for a living copied our house color and said the workmanship was excellent. I will not hesitate to call Hi 5 Roofing down the road for any storm damage or upgrades. Sincerely, Alan Winslow

I had Hi-5 roofing replace my roof, siding and gutters. They did an excellent job! They were prompt, completed the work on time and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would def recommend them to family and friends!

I had a great experience with the company. Luis and Seth were very responsive and flexible. They connected us with a contractor that completed dry wall work as well and we had a good experience with the recommendation. There were a few issues that weren't addressed at first but as soon as I brought the issues up, Luis sent a crew out and addressed the issues.

Beware! We highly recommend you avoid Hi-5 Roofing. Our experience was that this company does not stand behind its warranty promises.

We hired Hi 5 to fix a leak above our garage in June 2019. They told us they had a 1-year warranty on the work. 11 months later, we noticed water again leaking from the same location in the garage. In addition, floorboards in the bedroom above the garage were creaking. Hi 5 came onsite for an inspection and agreed to address the leak and floorboards under the warranty. They supposedly came a couple days later to fix the leak, but we were home and did not see/hear them and they could not produce photos when we asked later on. Then the morning the carpenter was to come to fix the floorboards, the owner of Hi-5 emailed us to say the floorboard damage was from a nearby window and not the leak and thus the appointment was canceled. What?!? That window was replaced 2 years ago and had shown no signs of leaking. We tried to call the owner 3 times and emailed him once so we could discuss it, but he would not return our calls or email.

We were discarded as customers like a piece of trash, which is a horrible feeling when everything seemed fine until it wasn't.

All I can say is WOW. I was extremely pleased with the work they performed. I have a fairly large roof. It's a 2 story home with a pretty steep pitch. Their team of guys came and tore off the old roof and re-shingled the entire roof in 1 day! They were diligent about protecting my landscaping, and cleaned up afterwards. Luis's quote was exactly what he said it was with no surprises. The new roof looks great, and they took extra care in not damaging my gutters, and cleaned any debris from them as well. The hip lines on the roof are perfectly straight. I would strongly recommend Hi -5 for all your roofing needs.

I want to thank Luis Trejo and his crew for taking care of my roof, gutters, and siding. Not only he met with my insurance adjuster at the time of the inspection, but also was able to get my insurance to cover supplements they missed on the report. He also waved my deductible and didn't have to pay anything out of packet. I was more then satisfied with all the work they did. I will recommend any of my fiends and family members to call Hi-5 roofing with any issues they may have with their roof, siding and gutters. Thank you, and Hi-5 for all the good work you guys did.
