Do not recommend, send you crazy prices up charging crazy amounts.

Paul diagnosed my cooling issues and explained the best course of action. He was very knowledgeable with working with home warranty companies. He understood the process and submitted the appropriate paperwork which got us an approval for the needed repairs. In the past we have had a technician from a different company cause our warranty claim to be denied because they didn't understand the process. Paul's understanding of warranties was greatly appreciated.

This company installed a new furnace after my old one had died. The technicians were great and our HVAC is running well. However, everything after that has not gone well. I was promised paperwork (invoice, warranty, etc.) on the day the furnace was installed but I did not receive any. Instead I was informed that I would receive it the following day through email. My credit card was charged the next day, but no email or further communication of any kind. I called a week later about this and finally received an email of the invoice, but I still have no information about the warranty that was promised. They also charged me a 3% credit card processing fee that they did not inform me of prior.
Update: My above issues with the paperwork/documentation were resolved about a week after the installation. As a result, I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. The technician, Zo, did a great job but the clerical side was the problem.

I've had my share of bad experiences with previous HVAC vendors who are typically unprofessional, just looking for a sale, or untimely. However, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning changed that for me. They are always on time, provide me with unbiased recommendations, and really show their care for customer relationships. I've used them for my all-home humidifier replacement, as well as duct cleaning and UV light system installation. Great value and professionalism, which is difficult to find these days. Za and Krunal especially are always a pleasure to interact with.

We contacted One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Naperville to come out and clean our air conditioner. After our appointment was set, our air conditioner went out completely. Paul was our service technician who came out on the call. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the issue quickly and explained the process completely. Their policy of full disclosure pricing gave us the confidence and assurance that we were paying a best in market rate. I would highly recommend both, this company and Paul, as they are both best in class.

My HVAC system died at my yoga studio on a night it was below zero. it was well after 8 PM and I immediately went onto Thumbtack in a state of panic knowing i had early classes the next morning. KC from one hour responded immediately to my request and he was very helpful and reassuring. By the next morning he had a technician out to my studio and it was fixed by that afternoon. Rami the technician worked very fast and diligently. My unit is on the roof and he was up there in freezing temperatures! I highly recommend them for commercial HVAC situations! KC even came to my studio to explain exactly what parts were needed and helped me understand the pricing. you should definitely use them just be patient with their customer service people 🥴

Paul and his partner were truly exceptional. They seamlessly replaced my furnace with a high level of professionalism. Upon their arrival, they took the time to explain their process and estimated the duration of the job, which they completed on schedule. What set them apart was their commitment to cleanliness, as they brought their own supplies to ensure a thorough cleanup once the work was finished.

Their efficiency and dedication to their craft were truly commendable. Post-installation, they patiently walked me through the warranty details and provided a comprehensive overview of the new furnace. I wholeheartedly endorse this company and will undoubtedly reach out to them for any future projects. Their service was top-notch and left me thoroughly impressed.

Only thing good about the experience was that they showed in the time range committed. Other than that entire experience was HORRIBLE. Tried to push sales and overcharged me (only fix they did was apply duct tape on an exposed wire). Its challenging to find trustworthy technicians and these guys did not live up to expectations.

Beware of this company, they are scammers, and I say this because after looking at their reviews they've done this to other people. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company when I submitted a claim for my furnace not producing heat. Two guys came out (which is odd because usually this type of job only requires one person) and by the time they came out I was able to reset my furnace so the heat has started working but still I needed them to diagnose why that was happening (it had happened before). Instead of diagnosing the system, they started pointing out things that were supposed to be wrong with my system and that it needed to be cleaned. I asked what was the cause of the heat not working and they could not provide an answer and immediately proceeded to evade the question and offer a furnace service for $500 (I ended up cleaning it with the shop vac later and it took me about 10 minutes). They claimed that my warranty company would not cover any repairs because it was supposedly dirty and needed that done before they could cover any repairs. They said that they would submit the photos of the "dirty furnace" to my warranty company and that most likely they would void any claims in the future. I asked if the "dirty" furnace was the cause of the heat intermittently not working and they also evaded the question. Then one of the guys began telling me how much I could save by installing a new 90% furnace and began doing calculations on his phone to justify why I should have a new furnace installed. I declined and said no thank you I don't need a new furnace because the one I have is not even 15 years old and is a top of the line furnace that has not had any issues other than the what is happening now which I am almost certain is a certain component that needs to be replaced. Also, I don't have $5k available for a new furnace when the one I have I perfectly fine. Then as they were about to walk out they took their shoe covers off and I noticed that the guy trying to sell me a furnace was a sales guy because he was wearing dress shoes. The other guy had work boots. That's when I realized that from the get go they came in with the intention to sell me a new furnace because why else would they send a sales person for a regular service call? After I realized this needless to say I was livid. Not only did they not diagnose my issue, they tried to scam me in my own home. I called my warranty company immediately and made a complaint. I knew the issue with the furnace would come up again eventually because they didn't do anything. Sure enough the week after the issue came up again and now is happening more consistently. I made another claim with my warranty company and they assigned one hour heating and Air conditioning again and I called right away to have them assign another company. Once the new company got assigned, I went online to look at their reviews and I was satisfied with what I read. Then I went to check the reviews from one hour heating and air conditioning and came across the bad reviews which is why I decided to write this. Please be careful with who you let in your house and be aware of people that say things that make no sense because most likely they're trying to pull fast one. Btw the repair person's name I think was zo and I do not remember the other guy's name(sales guy) but I think he may have been of Indian decent. They did a good job doing the maintenance. They did a courtesy A/C cleanup as well.

Zo came. Helped with no cool call issue. Recharge the system and great company to work with. I highly recommend them.

Had an old unit which wasn’t working up to standards. Kept shutting off. The folks at One Hour Air came out gave me a very fair price and replaced the unit. From my first communication with with them to the installation everything went smooth and professional. I also used their duct cleaning which made the air inside my house free of contaminants. Great all around!

Short Version: Deceptive, unethical, unresponsive, and unreliable. I will never do business with this company again.

Long Version: I called them in a jam because my A/C broke in the summer. When it came to pricing I went with this company because they promised thousands in rebates. In reality, this company including its owner apparently lied to me about rebates to get me to buy their product. There were no rebates, and even though they put in writing that I would receive thousands in rebates, ComEd confirmed to me that I'd been lied to. The company promised to file all the paperwork for the rebates and that I would not need to do anything. They lied. Not only did not file any paperwork, it was only after six months of following up with them every month that I found out that I'd been lied to. A year later I've received zero rebates and despite asking in writing for an explanation, or to make things right, they have wholly refused to take any meaningful action to right their wrong.

And to be sure, I likely would have gone with a different company if I had know there were no rebates or discounts, as alleged. This company lied to me about price to get me to buy their product, lied that they were working on getting rebates, and then refused to make things right despite me asking them several times.

And if you really want to see an example of how blatantly they lie, look at how many google reviews they have here (120) and compare it to how many google reviews they claim to have on their website under their "Code of Ethics" page (168,156).

While claiming they have "Unwavering Integrity" they are even lying about how many times they've been reviewed. I tried through dozens of emails one on one to get them to own up to their error, and they refused at every turn and offered zero mitigation. I wish I didn't have to make this review as I don't like giving bad reviews, but the dishonesty and lack of integrity needs to be called out so my neighbors don't suffer similar results.

EDIT: IN THEIR REPLY THEY CLAIM THEY'VE ATTEMPTED TO REACH OUT "NUMEROUS TIMES BY PHONE AND EMAIL."

This is yet another lie. They stopped responding to my efforts to resolve this amicably, hence why I had no choice but to make this post. The regularity and ease with how this organization is misrepresenting the truth is truly shocking. Buyer beware.

I highly recommend these guys. Not only did they do an amazing job, they went above and beyond. They walked in as strangers that never felt like strangers. I felt like I had some friends coming over to put in an air conditioner unit for me. If I could go more than 5 stars I would have… I give them 10 stars. So nice from the first phone call to the end of taking out the trash…

One Hour responded very quickly (within minutes) of my emergency call when my AC went out (on a hot day, of course). Technician Paul arrived within the time frame promised. He was very polite and personable. He explained everything he was going to do and why. The problem turned out to be the thermostat, but he checked the whole system. I was given many options so I could choose what best suited my needs. His work was tidy and efficient. I am very satisfied with the service provided.

I had a problem with my water heater earlier this year. It was very frustrating, I called Naperville One Hour Heater.
Krunal came over and educated me on my options. He also educated me about my home air quality. I never heard about air quality even though I had a quarterly service but never mentioned anything about that.
We agreed on a job that fits my needs and budget. His team replaced the water heater and they did great job, it was neat and clean.
They cleaned my duct, and placed an amazing filter and a Led to purify my hole air quality.
I am very happy with their service and I have a membership with them to make sure our air quality stays the same.
Definitely consult with them

My wife and I were very pleased with the service from beginning to end with One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Naperville. They were responsive to our needs in helping us to select a new AC and Coil system and were reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
