Professional tree trimming

Did not grind the entire stump called them back with no response it's a shady company don't use them

Had two trees and a large shrub removed. Job done well. Reasonable pricing and good communication.

THE BEST! By far the most competitive pricing in the Chicago suburbs with professional crew and tools. Outstanding response time via text and phone call, and I was utterly amazed at how fast the crew removed my 35 foot pine tree and stump, 11 minutes flat.

Arranged with Jesse Tree Removal Co. to care for mature trees (2 maples) on my property, including pruning, trimming, removal of dead wood and suckers’ growth. I chose Jesse Tree Removal Co. over two other local tree care companies based on the competitive price they offered me.
Nothing radically cheap, just average price range.
This is my review of the services provided.

Pros:
1. The team arrived on time.
2. These are hardworking and brave guys whom I deeply respect for their hard and dangerous work.

Cons:
1. Jesse (the foreman) made every effort to dash the work as quickly as possible, even jeopardizing the safety of surrounding buildings and structures: (for example) Instead of carefully lowering the cut tree branches, they simply let them fall.
In this case, cut branches fell on overhead power lines and internet cables and damaged them and their attachment to the house (house siding was also damaged). This will cost me additional (!?) to fix.
2. Jesse really ‘cut corners’. The team left the site, leaving dead limbs here and there in the treetops and tree canopies.. When I told Jesse about this, he asked me for more money, saying that it was not included in regular tree trimming.
Isn't removing dead wood part of regular tree trimming?
He also became indignant, stated that it was time to leave, and there was no room in his truck for additional woodchips (Crew should come to the site prepared. Client paid money for this.) and offered to return to perform the service (for additional money !?) later.

Concussion: "You got what you paid for." Come to think of it, I would rather pay extra money to have tree service completed to my (the client) satisfaction than have a crew left the site with damage done and the service not (as far as I understand) fully completed.
So decide for yourself... I only left my honest review of the services provided by Jesse Tree Removal Co. ..

Great work by Andres Balderas. His team helped with water drainage all over my property.

Not a reliable business. Never showed up to fertilize our lawn. The only text message they responded to was the one I told them don't bother coming anymore, we found someone else.

I get weekly services from andres to keep my lawn looking sharp. Never had an issue and if anything complicates he is always willing to help and find a solution for it. Keep the great work.

We first started using Andres 7 yrs ago. He planted our new bushes (17 of them) in our yard and has taken down a huge dead tree, besides the lawn mowing and mulching... I can't say enough about him. Our cul-de-sac uses him because of the service we've received. His website needs to be updated but Andres is a great guy, solid, quality

We have used Andre’s and his company for many projects. He is always punctual, does amazing work and willing to share his ideas.

From the scheduling process to the actual service- 10’s across the board. They called and were able to get us in a day earlier than expected. Val was fantastic. The service needed was more complex than we originally thought and even though it was at the end of the day Val was determined to get us up and running. After lots of up and down stairs/ladders- we had cool air before we went to bed. Super appreciative and we highly recommend.

It all started with a project as simple as replacing the bathroom exhaust fan. I bought a new exhaust fan but had trouble detaching the old one, so I had to call for help. I contacted Astera via Yelp message and got a response within a few minutes, even though it was a Sunday! They had a straightforward labor fee for replacing the fan, so I set an appointment for the next day. But when I went up the attic, I found that there were some modifications that needed to be done with how the exhaust fan was connected to the roof vent. I also wanted to completely remove another broken exhaust fan from the second bathroom.

I got a message from Astera company the next day saying that they would be able to come earlier than the scheduled time. I was happy to hear it since I had another plan that evening. Roman arrived at the expected time, and I explained the complexity of the project. He understood and knew exactly what to do. When I asked him if he did drywalls, he said he did! He also had experience with electrical projects, so he accepted my request to replace the light switch for the exhaust fan. Although each additional request cost more on top of the initial labor fee, the price was competitive, and I could trust Roman, seeing his quality of work and speed. I later canceled the switch replacement, but again, his skills and quality of work were above and beyond my expectations. It took him about 1.5 hours to complete everything. After he was done, he took photos and video of his work on the attic, which was super convenient. He also cleaned up very nicely after he was done with his work. I would give him six stars if that were an option!

I recommend Astera to those looking to replace bathroom exhaust fans, any electrical parts in the home, or any other house projects!

When my dishwasher broke, Astera promptly sent a technician the very next day for a reasonable $65 diagnostic fee. It turned out to be a failed circulation pump. The technician was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful—we had a thoughtful, no-pressure discussion about whether it made more sense to repair or replace the unit. Val from Astera Heating, Cooling,and Appliance Repair was thorough, helpful,snd had great suggestions for regulating the heat in my home. The price was reasonable as well for my yearly inspection.

Easy scheduling, polite woman on phone. Work man, Val, showed up on time. That was professional efficient and knowledgeable. he did a quick diagnostic and restarted our Spacepak Air conditioning unit. highly recommended!

Came right on time and fixed my ice maker/ water spout that was slow and clogged. Realized pinch line in the back and leveled my refrigerator too! Was very thorough! Highly recommend! Easy to pay too with Zelle!

They were always on (I got calls at 11:20 pm after posting the job), provided upfront estimates at 7 am, professional and timely personnel, and a joy to work with.

We had Alex today to do a tune-up for our Furnace and Air conditioner. He was very pleasant to work with, and he took time to clean up our air conditioner and furnace. We did notice that sometimes our air condisioner would run but no cool air coming out of the vents lately, and Alex found that it's caused by the compressor and had it replaced.

We had an issue with our dryer and needed it fixed as soon as possible. I submitted a request on Thumbtack, and Mia quickly gave me a call to schedule a technician for the next day. Vlad arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem, and had our dryer working again in less than an hour. Great experience overall and will continue to use the service. Thank you Vlad!
