Astera and its’ employees presented a very professional and courteous overall job when dealing with my repair project. They always kept me in the loop as to the status of the job, the scheduling of employees, and the precise billing program they use for their business.

We have used Astera previously and have always been very pleased with their service. An unexpected issue with our HVAC system required us to require a replacement system and we went to Astera. The service was prompt and extremely well done, the site was left clean and removal was done. All our questions were answered and customer service was excellent so another very good experience with Astera

Val was fantastic. Showed up on time. Very professional and knowledgeable. Was able to fix the issue the same day and provide advice how to keep it from happening again. Will be using them for all future repairs.

Alex was on time as scheduled. He ran through diagnostic tests of my dishwasher and even took videos and photos of the leaking parts. He was honest about the one repair he could do may only solve the issue about 85% of the time (replace water divertor and float sensor for $361), and there was evidence that there might have been leaking in another area. When we decided that we would just put the repair $$ towards a new dishwasher, he didn't push back at all. It was a good $65 spent to definitely know that we need to replace it.

Very responsive, incredibly communicative. Alex P. was punctual ans also quite reasonable in his approach to diagnosing the problem with my oven and in how he presented my options. I’d strongly recommend Astera when you have appliance repair needs in the north shore.

I found Astera Heating, Cooling and Appiances from a Google search. Their reviews were nothing but positive so I hired them to work on my boiler. The office staff was kind and professional. The service technician is extremely knowledgeable and did a thorough job on our repair. The interaction from start to finish was professional and efficient. I am adding my positive review to the reviews out on the internet. I would recommend this company for your Heating and Cooling needs.

above and beyond. Last year my furnace went out and it was a very cold day. It was late in the day as well. The person working on my furnace drove 45 min each way to get the part to get my furnace working. I have used them for multiple services and they are all professionals. They are honest and trustworthy and I would call them every time!

Great customer service when making the appointment and interaction with the handyman. Here on time and was conscientious of the interior of the house. Went above and beyond by walking outside to check for other possibilities of how the pilot light went out. Very nice Handyman. Very fair price.

Recommended maintenance and parts that should be replaced on my old boiler but didn't try to sell me a whole new system. We woke up to 67 degrees in the house when the heat is set to 75. George the HVAC tech came out and replaced the blower motor, burners, and the capacitor on a 7 year old system. He also showed us the signs of an improper installation. He had to redo the loose gas line (dangerous) and fixed the exhaust pipe from the combustion chamber. He also fixed the humidifier attached to the furnace. We purchased the platinum maintenance plan which is $20 per month. This provides a 10% discount on future repairs and assures us that preventative maintenance will be taken care of. George seemed honest, thorough, and professional. I'm happy with the cost because I feel that this won't be an issue going forward.

Lex went above and beyond. Our heater was shutting off exactly after 7 minutes, and we were initially told it was a thermostat or wiring issue. Lex took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found the real cause: an oversized HVAC system that was overheating and shutting itself off. He adjusted the system pressure to bring it within the required range, which was especially important since the unit is located in a closet.

Lex was patient, transparent, and clearly knew what he was doing. The issue is finally resolved, and I would specifically ask for Lex again without hesitation.

Astera responded promptly when we called for service. Alex was very thorough in checking our ice maker and correctly diagnosed the problem. He was able to complete the repair on the same day after getting parts. Would highly recommend this repair service.

Awesome experience all around. They worked with my schedule and communicated with me with what worked best for my situation. The tech was super nice when he came out. He was honest and said the repair would cost more than a new washer. I was grateful for his honesty. The diagnostics fee is the best I have found in the area. They continuously communicated appointment times and even had a GPS location of the tech so I knew when he would be at my house. We will definitely be using them again.

I had an appointment set for 3-6pm and the customer service rep told me that the technician will be late due to a previous job. I told her that it was freezing in my home this morning and please do not reschedule me. Well thank goodness! She was able to get someone to come within the hour! I was so grateful as it’s been cold in my home for 2 days! 🥶🥶🥶

Very professional service from the moment of scheduling through the service and payment. Alex was very pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. He took the time to explain everything to me and recommended steps I could take myself to improve performance of my refrigerator and freezer. Very reasonable charge for diagnostic call. I would definitely call Astera again for appliance repair.

We contacted Astera to repair our oven. George, the technician, is fantastic to work with! He is extremely communicative, friendly, explains his diagnostic troubleshooting steps, performed the repair to our satisfaction, and the fees were very reasonable considering the effort involved.

I also appreciate that Astera sends a text message when they are on their way, and you can see where the technician is on a map - it's great for when they give you a three-hour window to have a heads-up when they're on their way. Everything has been perfect - timely communications from the back office re: scheduling, sending estimates, etc.

We were so pleased with the level of service that we'll be using Astera to service our HVAC systems seasonally as well.

I've worked with many other service providers, and usually they're a one-and-done in my book. Astera will be my only call for appliance repair and HVAC service going forward!

Alex P was the technician sent to repair my Bosch dishwasher. He was great and explained everything he was doing. Before he began the repair he asked if I wanted to continue or not. I opted for the repair and thought $317.00 for a new pump was reasonable. Great experience. I will keep Astera's number close by snd call them again for any appliance repair.

They were able to come out 2 hours after I messaged them! George was fantastic and on time. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the furnace and what needed to be done to fix it.
