Synergy has done several projects for us - remodeled our master bath, put in crown molding, built an entertainment center, and built a wine cellar. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the people at Synergy, from the designers to the installers and everyone in between! They are very professional and do fantastic work. Their follow-up is excellent and we feel like we can still call with questions about any of their work and will still get the help we need.

Can't say enough about John and Synergy. Although we ended up not being able to move forward on the project due to our personal situation, John still made himself available to help guide me through many questions and offered up his advice whenever we needed/need it. If our situation was slightly different, there is no question we would have moved forward in the process. I highly recommend this company not only because they do great work but because they have great people! That's what separates a good company from a "GREAT" company. Thanks John and team!

We love our new built-in cabinets! We knew Synergy’s reputation, but we figured it wouldn’t hurt to get a few bids from local handymen and independent carpenters. Turned out Synergy’s work was higher quality AND saved us a few thousand dollars compared to the other quotes. Installation was convenient and professional, and the team made sure everything was perfect. Couldn’t be happier

Synergy did a fantastic job finishing our basement. Their staff were very friendly and easy to work with from start to finish. They were very patient as we fine tuned our layout to ensure it met our specific needs. Their tradesmen did an awesome job creating a brand new living space for our family. We now enjoy a beautiful granite topped wet bar, built in wine cabinets in the wall, exercise room, separate media room, cherry cabinets on both sides of the fireplace as well as an elegant bathroom. We couldn't be happier with the work that was done and we look forward to our next project with Synergy!!

Synergy Builders was the third company we met with and based on their stellar reviews and professionalism witnessed in our initial meeting, we decided to choose them on our home remodel project.
Ours was a large project and the first one we were tackling. I am very happy we chose Synergy Builders on this job. They made us feel comfortable and worked with us in depth on the options for our entire home renovation. The entire staff from owners down to office staff is professional and easy to work with.
As with any large project, there were a couple of hiccups but they were discussed and handled fairly by Synergy.
I will and have already recommended them highly to others when asked if I know of a good builder. I would feel confident in working with them again.

You wont go wrong with Synergy Builders. We had them finish our basement in our new construction home in Naperville, IL in July/August 2016. They are an incredibly professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Their work is excellent, high quality and exceeded our expectations. Their entire process took the stress out of this major project immediately after closing on our new home. The cost was significantly less for more amenities than our other quotes. Once we made our decision to contract with Synergy we were able to track the project through their on line application - Builder Trend which was great as we always knew what to expect. In addition, the Project Manager assigned to our project was always in contact with us throughout the process.

We were amazed at how friendly and accommodating all of their contractors were through each step of the process. We had a basement finished 12 years ago in our former home and this experience was so much more positive than the last. We would highly recommend Synergy for any project in your home and they would be our only choice for any further project we might chose to do in the future. Thank you Synergy!

Synergy did an excellent job on our home remodeling! Kate, our designer and Brad our project manager were very professional, helpful and quality minded. The crews were top notch professionals who took pride in a quality job! They have a nice showroom that allows you to select cabinets, flooring, tile, counter tops and more under 1 roof with a designer and 3 options of pricing to choose from to stay within your budget. They also use a phone apt to show latest schedule and work order changes w-email to allow for renovation at your fingertips! They minimized the dust with covering floors and rooms not renovated. I highly recommend Synergy for any renovation projects!

We met with two other contractors before deciding on Synergy. One of the reasons we felt Synergy was excellent was their willingness to work with us in our budget. When looking at design options and then cabinet/counter options post design, they kept us in our budget range and openly let us know what would cause costs to go up and down. Nothing unexpected popped up in the entire process.

During the project you choose your method of contact. We appreciated that we could mainly use text and email with our busy schedules. The Project Manager was always available to answer questions and meet on site if we wanted to review a piece of the project. I worked from home once a week and I always felt comfortable with the people working in our house, along with the days we weren't at home.

The outcome of our kitchen renovation is beautiful. It is above and beyond what we imagined. I truly believe their entire team helped us get to this final point and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

This was a full remodel of an 1893 house. Stripped to the studs and all new plumbing and electric. Our experience with Synergy was excellent. They kept us informed, seemed like they were always busy and had people schedule (no wasted time) and were far more reasonable in price than a few other estimates. Any complaints or confusion on my part were answered quickly and professionally. Any mistakes were fixed quickly. We really love our new house and really enjoyed our experience with Synergy. We would highly recommend.

We absolutely love our home that we created with Synergy Builders! They were great from beginning to end. John helped us from the very start in choosing the house and seeing through with important structural decisions. Our designer made the process so easy. Synergy did a wonderful job transforming our master bath and turning the sitting room into more closet space. John did a great job setting our expectations and working with the team to create a plan that fit our budget. Our designer, Kate, was so helpful with choosing finishes and fixtures. Construction started on time and the crews cleaned up daily, no hassles. Our project manager Eric checked in with regular updates. Such a pleasant experience and the new space is beautiful - would highly recommend Synergy!

Overall Synergy was the company we were looking for. What we wanted was quality work, done right to code, with minimal hassle. That's the experience we got. Everyone from sales, design, and construction was professional. They picked up very quickly that my husband and I were busy and wanted to be relatively hands off. I appreciated that. I suspect that this company might be pricey compared to other companies doing similar jobs, but in this industry you get what you pay for. We would definitely use them again.

From the beginning discussion through the final walk-thru, the folks at Synergy were terrific. We experienced a stress-free remodel project that lasted approximately six weeks. Through the entire process the respect and thoughtfulness for our home and for us was tremendous. Great people doing a great job. We will use them again for certain! Great Company!!

Synergy Builders has done work for us in the past and their craftsmanship and customer service is fantastic. We’re so happy with the new bathroom that they just finished. The compliments we have received from family and friends are never ending. We would definitely recommend them.

We used Synergy Builders for our kitchen remodel in Westmont. Overall I think the most important thing during a remodel is to finish on time and on budget and Synergy nailed both those (we actually finished a day early). There were no major surprises and we did have a few little changes throughout the way but our project manager (Brad) talked through all of that, offered great suggestions, and got the work done on schedule. I would definitely recommend Synergy for all major remodels like we did. We essentially made our dining room and kitchen into one big kitchen. At the beginning of the process we met with their design team quite frequently and also had a chance to meet the owner John which I liked as it showed us that it's a nice size of business where he is still intimately involved with the various projects.

We had 3 large projects completed by Synergy Builders. While we quoted each project with multiple contractors, we chose Synergy each time and we are happy with our decisions. We found them very easy to work with and flexible. During the designing phase, they asked us what we wanted, they provided ideas when we asked and they kept us on track from a timing perspective. During construction, you never know what surprises you run into but each time our project manager, Mark would talk it through with us and we’d agree on a plan forward. Lastly, every person that came into our house was friendly, respectful and clean.

I have had multiple projects with Synergy over the years and the quality work has kept me coming back. Recently we had a minor problem with one of the under-cabinet lights from our 2023 kitchen remodel. Mark came out and assessed the problem and figured out the cause right away. The repair was scheduled and completed very quickly, and the team was very friendly as always. Even when there is a problem, Synergy takes care of it without a hassle! I highly recommend!

No major kitchen remodeling project is without a degree of stress and frustration, but the team at Synergy Builders manage to minimize both with their professional and conscientious approach.

The project was delivered on schedule and budget, the quality of the work was outstanding, and their willingness to go over and above in addressing minor snags along the way to satisfy their customers was validation that my wife and I made the right choice by selecting them as our contractor.

We will use them again and encourage anyone else considering a contractor for a major home project to do the same.

We just completed a 2 month project with Synergy Builders, remodeling 2 full baths and a powder room. We are very pleased with the outcome. The overall process from initial contract and design meetings to project completion went smoothly and on schedule. While they are not the least expensive, we were willing to pay more for a better result and fewer project headaches - they delivered. We were very happy with everyone we worked with, in particular our designer, Kimberly, and project manager, Bill. Redoing all the bathrooms in a house is a disruptive project but they did a very good job of minimizing the hassle and mess. We will use them again.

Prices were competitive, and we felt from the very beginning that their build aspect would be solid. They started and finished on time. The general contractor (Daryl) was knowledgeable, pleasant, detail oriented, and always kept us updated. His entire crew - Kenny, Marcos, the electricians, plumbers, painters, HVAC, drywall, and demo were all highly skilled and respectful of our home - cleaning up after themselves, etc. Extra kudos to Kenny - always delightful and efficient, and Marcos, the tile guy who is second to none! We are extremely satisfied with all the work done. The cleaning crew was a pleasant surprise - thanks, Daryl. We could not be happier!

Working with Synergy for our kitchen remodel was a great experience. From our 1st meeting with John we felt that Synergy’s approach was a good fit. They took the time to find out our style and how we wanted to use the space. Nicole did an excellent job with the design and was a great help with picking out appliances, and finishes. Both Nicole and John listened to our concerns, wants and needs, and were able to make our kitchen a wonderful space.
Our project manager Eric was great as he kept us informed and would make sure we were happy with the work. We had a detailed timeline of the schedule and more importantly we were kept informed of any schedule change.
All the contractors were great, very professional and cleaned up before they would leave for the day. There is always something that comes up during a remodel, and when we ran into an issue with the counter top Synergy made sure it was taken care of without any hesitation. They wanted to make sure we were completely happy with the result. Synergy has very high standards for their work and they really care about the end result and clients’ complete satisfaction.
We would strongly recommend Synergy to our friends and neighbors and they would be the first on our list for any of our future remodeling needs.
