I have two trees that the branches intertwine so I was not going to attempt to do them myself. The two guys that came out were great and very friendly. He even explained to me what he was doing and why then asked for my approval before he left. Great services

On the strength of service first received to get my crab trees to bloom, I added another service. This has been the pattern over 5-years. Each service added is without exception competently delivered and with very high customer service. I've had shrubs/trees removed and replaced as well as trimmed. They quickly addressed an evergreen disease. And, they prune and feed my trees, shrubs. As they now, also, mulch my beds, aerate and keep weeds from my lawn and feed it, I am all in for Davey Tree Services. Working with Davey Tree's Steve Matravers and his crews from the West Chicago, IL office continues to be a delight.

Communication was fast and easy, Madison and Steve answered all of our questions. When it was time to cut the tree down the laborers were very polite, and very careful with all of our property. They had the tree cut down & chipped, and our yard cleaned up in less than 3 hours! 100% would use their services in the future.

We had originally sent full payment to Kramer they, presented a very vague estimate in regards to what work they would do, they would forget to call us when they needed to cancel. We could never get a firm day. We probably moved our patio furniture and many other heavy garden decor 3 times for a job they never showed up for!

Davey was highly recommended by a friend and when Kyle came out, his estimate was very complete and $300 higher, but we figured the job would done well and it was.Davey’s 4 person crew climbed our old honey locust, cleared lots of dead, trimmed, cleaned up perfectly and hardly damaged the ornamental shrubs etc that surround the tree.

AND Their thank you card came BEFORE the bill!

We had concerns about several trees on our property and Steve Matravers provided an assessment that made good sense. We have since had Davey Tree fertilize our trees and shrubs and trim a few trees, and plan to have them treat our crabapple trees next year (too late this year). Their crew did a really good job with the fertilization and tree trimming, and we plan to continue to rely on their expertise to maintain our landscaping in good health.

The experience with Davey Tree was absolutely amazing. The work went smoothly, in a timely manner, and was successfully completed. Craig and his team were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, thorough and a pleasure to have provide Davey's services. They trimmed three very large trees, removed another large tree including the stump, and removed bushes. They chipped everything, raked, leaf blew (even on my garage roof where some debris and sawdust landed), and went above and beyond, leaving my yard immaculate. The cost was very reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Our experience with Davey Trees was very positive. Kyle came out for a consultation and gave us a lot of helpful information and advice. The staff was easy to work with and did a great job with our tree removal and clean-up. We would be happy to work with them in the future and I would recommend their services to friends and family.

We had a guy come out last fall to give us a quote for trimming several of our mature trees. The man was very friendly and provided some recommendations on what they would suggest to trim and not to trim but we never received a follow up with an estimate. I even sent a follow up email about 2 weeks after the visit and still never received a follow up. Poor communication and customer service. Very disappointed since we heard good things about Davey.

Trimming went well; trees look good. All cut branches were removerd. However, I was led to believe that the trimming would be done later in the fall in colder weather.

We had a huge tree, about 50 feet tall, in ou yard, that needed to be removed. Working with Andy to set it up was very easy, and he was responsive to questions from beginning to end. The three gentlemen who came out, Javier R., Jose R., and Cesaro were very professional and thorough. They were respectful of our property, and made sure to clean up branches as they went along, then all the leaves and small branches when they were done. We highly recommend Davey Tree Service to anyone who needs a tree removed.

Davey Tree is amazing! We had a couple of trees and unfortunately we needed them removed. Davey came out with an unmatchable estimate and the crew come out the following week and removed the trees and will come out to remove the stumps too! Highly recommend them and Craig their arborist is very knowledgeable and glad he is part of their team!

Another great job. Everything was done well, cleaned up and all for a good price. The crew treated our trees and yard like they were their own.

Yesterday, the Davey Tree truck rolled up to the house at 8 am. Will, Justin, and Walter walked around looking and discussing what was to be accomplished. When they needed my thoughts on what to do with an overgrown corner, we all decided what was to be done. We are, and have been, so impressed with Davey personnel. They’re personable, professional, and knowledgeable - plus they’re just nice people. At a little after 11, everything was done and cleaned up. Thank you. As usual, we will contact Davey the next time.

Craig, certified arborist, came out to review trimming two medium size trees in my back yard. Work was done promptly and professionally. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Compared to other tree trimming companies the price was more reasonable as well.

All the people I interacted with from Davey Tree Experts were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and did good work. This is not the first time they have done work for us, and we recommend them with confidence.

Awesome work by the arborists! They thinned and trimmed two large river birches, and wow, do these trees look fantastic. These guys have a real artistic eye, and tree knowledge, so that the final result is an elegant, well-formed tree. We get our trees shaped every few years, and each time, the results are stunning, and the trees seem to grow larger due to the trimming and thinning. The yard is cleaned up meticulously. Extremely professional. Love Davey Tree.

Craig Baltes came out to give us a quote regarding tree removal. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us insight on other trees on our property. Craig is a valuable asset to Davey Tree removal.
