Reviews of local pros in Wheaton, Illinois

Apple Landscape was a pleasure to work with. Luis was able to provide me with a rough estimate based on my design ideas and some pictures shared via social media. He then came to the house and provided a thorough quote after measuring and reviewing material. The crew came on time, took proper care of our property during and after the job. Their attention to detail and professional approach stands out. We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work and would highly recommend them to a friend or family.

Luis was wonderful to work with from the planning stage to completion of the project. He and his team did a fantastic job on the demolition of my old patio and installation of my new patio, seat wall, lighting and landscaping. I am extremely happy with the process and the results! I would highly recommend Apple Landscape Design to anyone considering this type of project.

Apple did an incredible job on our paver extension and highly recommend them to everyone. We received their name and recommendation from a neighbor who used them on their paver project. They were highly efficient, completing the entire project in only 2 days. Highly detail oriented, everything was properly excavated, structural base installed and compacted, and concrete to pin in the pavers so they don’t move in the future. Their crew was super skilled, and protected all adjacent surfaces from damage. Real pros who know what they are doing. I’m in the real estate and construction business so I have a good understanding on good contractors and means / methods and these guys execute perfectly.

Luis and his crew did a great job, even talked me through a quote on Saturday night. They got to our job quickly and replaced the ruins of a torn down deck with a new paver patio in just two days. Great communication throughout the process.

Recently had a large project done with Apple Landscaping and couldn’t be happier with the results. Luis managed everything, was very professional and clear in his communication. It was a big job with lots of demolition and details to work through, but his crew worked very hard, stayed on schedule, and handled every challenge along the way. The project was completed on time, and everything turned out exactly as it looked in the renderings we were shown beforehand. Luis and his team did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend Apple Landscaping!

We could not be happier with our experience with Apple Landscaping! Luis was timely, professional, and answered all of our questions before the project began. His team was always on time (or early), and cleaned up everything before leaving the site for the day. They completely transformed our backyard with a safe, new patio (we had a lot of loose pavers before they came!) in only a week. We LOVE having morning coffee & spending evenings relaxing with a fire, in our backyard paradise.

I had a wonderful experience with this Apple Landscape. They did a great job and were very neat throughout the entire project. They paid attention to every detail, and Luis and the team were great to work with. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!. Great service

Luis and his team went above and beyond to create our dream patio! We received over 40 messages from neighbors and friends on the incredible craftsmanship and professionalism of his team. From a business standpoint, Luis over communicated and was proactive when delivering important updates. The original design we had was nice, but he came up with a true show stopping idea and was able to execute it within 4 days! We cannot recommend this company enough. They are simply the best in the business. We hope they continue to do their excellent designs in our neighborhood as they are truly special. Thank you Luis!

Apple Landscape Design LLC did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their team was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They paid great attention to detail and really listened to what I wanted, turning my vision into reality. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and the results completely transformed my outdoor space. I highly recommend Apple Landscape Design LLC to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality services.

Apple Landscape, Luis and his team are fantastic!
From working through design to material recommendations to quality workmanship to a superb end product, we couldn't be happier.
They were ready to start the project in a couple of weeks, others needed a few months. Once they started, they completed the project in 4 days.
Luis was detailed, responsive, flexible and took pride in partnering on a quality end product. The crew, which included his dad, worked as a team throughout, were on time and kept a clean workspace.
Finally, you look to work with someone who is true to their commitments and that is exactly who Luis is.
Thank you Apple Landscape and Luis!! We will enjoy our patio for many years!!

Luis and his crew did an excellent job with designing and building our backyard patio to replace our old deck. They were on site early in the morning everyday and completed the job very efficiently. Luis communicated with us throughout the project and was very professional. We are thrilled with the new patio and highly recommend Apple Landscape Design.

Apple Landscape did an amazing job building a retaining wall that matches my home perfectly, redoing a bluestone walkway and building new stairs that lead up to it. They also handled my lighting needs. Luis was there from the start and very much listened to my wishes and concerns. He responded to every text of mine with questions quickly and sent photos with ideas. He came up with even better plans than I had originally imagined. He was onsite daily ensuring the job was done correctly. Luis was fantastic. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and included in the process. They were careful to clean up the area as well. I could not be any more thrilled than I am with them and plan to use them to finish my side and back yards as well.

Luis and his team goes above and beyond to make the perfect hardscape space! We are beyond thrilled with the finished product and every step of the process! Luis was great from the very beginning - he met us at our house to walk through our hopes for the project, gave us a high level estimate, and once we gave the green light for a design, had a very quick turn around for the first round of a design! We were able to go back and forth to tweak elements and see how a full-build out would look, ultimately choosing the elements we wanted to complete in the current project phase. The team was quick and efficient with responding to concerns, or anticipated changes as concerns arose as the design and permit process progressed. We agreed upon a final design and were on the schedule to start construction within a couple weeks. Throughout the process Luis was great with providing resources and very responsive as we worked through the process! Once construction started, the team was mindful of their workspace, cleaning up on a daily basis, providing updates and requesting input throughout demolition and preliminarily layout. We had moved a majority of our landscaping, however we had one young tree we had dug out but were unable to move out our own. The team went above and beyond to replant the tree, along with addressing existing under drains that were in conflict with the improvements and resolving other site specific items that were encountered.

You can tell the team strives for client satisfaction and providing the best results possible. The existing design was tweaked as construction started in order to fit our back yard conditions and you could very clearly tell the experience the team had based on their problem solving skills and the ability to provide expert opinion and suggestions for a seamless yet functional design.

Luis takes pride in his work and company and goes the extra mile to provide a complete product. We would definitely recommend the team and would use his services again! We have enjoyed using the hardscape as a basis to help transform our backyard into a little backyard paradise.

We are extremely happy with our hardscaping project! The team was professional, reliable, and clearly skilled from start to finish. They took the time to listen to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered exactly what they promised. The workmanship is excellent, the materials are high quality, and the final result looks amazing. The project was completed on time and the site was left clean and organized. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch hardscaping work.

Luis has a very hard working team and they do beautiful work and do a amazing job cleaning up daily. Now I feel proud of the yard I was embarrassed with before. Thanks to Luis and his Apple Landscaping crew! We highly recommend.

Luis and his team at Apple are, literally, the best. We bought a home that required many (unforeseen) repairs (inside and out). We contacted Luis to make a repair that needed to be done right away, and he and his team quickly responded and performed exceptional work. They both repaired an issue and created something beautiful. We had the team come back and completely re-grade our yard, install sod/seed and repair a paver patio. They exceeded expectations in their: work, demeanor, cleanliness, and attention to detail (it was obvious they cared, very much, about the end result). We have had many contractors/services as a part of this process and I can say, unequivocally, that Luis and Apple were the best – by far. I couldn’t recommend them more and encourage anyone in need of their services to call Luis/Apple – you will be very happy that you did! NOTE: we are having them back a third time for some additional work.

I can’t say enough about Apple Lanscape. From the beginning they throughly communicated with us and were patient with our decisions. Once on site they moved like a well oiled machine completing our entire project in just 7 days (making sure everything was nice and clean when they left for the night) Following completion they continued to follow up to make sure we had no questions or adjustments. If you are looking for a highly skilled and reliable landscape company you should call Apple!

I can't say enough positive things about Luis and his entire team at Apple for creating a fantastic backyard patio space for us! From day one, Luis was extremely communicative and responsive. He was easy to work with when it came to tweaking plans to come up with something that was perfect for us. He always kept us updated on the process and timeline which was in flux due to permitting delays which were no fault of his own. Once the city finally came through, the process was efficient. Luis was almost always on site and during the times he had to leave to get supplies, etc, I had no concerns as the entire team was very professional. Apple was conscientious of all aspects - not only design and construction but they kept all the supplies organized and the work site clean while ensuring that the their work minimized any impact on the neighbors.

It's clear Luis and his team take pride in their work. Apple came recommended by two families that already worked with them and we continue to refer them to other friends and family that are looking to transform their outdoor space!

Had to update - our patio fridge went out (nothing to do with Luis and Apple). Luis remained super helpful even though he had no obligation to and helped sort out getting the fridge replaced under warranty through the distributor. He even picked up the replacement, installed it and hauled away the old one. Amazing customer service and I continue to recommend Luis and his Apple team to everyone!

We did our homework prior to selecting Apple/Luis and his team to expand our backyard patio with a beautiful fireplace area and a kitchen area. We knew we wanted a fire feature, a tv, and built in gas grill. Luis brought our ideas to life! Our backyard looks better than we could have imagined! We very much appreciated the 3D renditions provided and Luis’s willingness to adjust those renderings. Once we had the design, Luis and his team got to work. Every member from masonry to electrician to plumber were well skilled. They treated the project like it was their own home. They worked diligently, were always on time, cleaned up each day, and took pride in their work. Luis was always available, often onsite, and made small but impactful changes to the design as we went along. He’s very communicative and explanatory - just very easy to work with! His attention to detail is noticeable. He always did it right! We are confident our hardscape is built on a solid foundation and will last for years to come. I couldn’t recommend Apple/Luis and his team any higher. Contact them! You’ll be glad you did.

Just had new front entrance installed by the Apple Team. Luis was incredibly responsive and great to work with. The crew did a fantastic job—everything was clean and the site kept secure throughout. They did a better job than we could have hoped, which says a lot. We really appreciate everyone’s hard work. Thank you, Luis and the Apple Team!

I couldn’t be happier with the backyard patio Apple Landscape did for me. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The team was punctual, respectful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing.

The quality of the work is top-tier — the patio came out even better than I imagined. Clean lines, solid craftsmanship, and great attention to detail. They took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and made sure the final result was exactly what I wanted.

My backyard has completely transformed into a space I’m proud of and actually enjoy spending time in now. If you’re looking for reliable, skilled, and honest landscaping professionals, Apple Landscape is the way to go. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again for future projects!
