I am glad that I found this company to take care of the cleaning. They were very professional and was always keeping me posted regarding the progress. Despite the difficulties with the job, they were able to finish on time and gave me different tips. They were very careful with the job as not to introduce problems in the house. May I say how amazing Rob & his Company is. WoW… I made a same day emergency call and he was the only one that responded and came to the rescue. He took care of the problem immediately. They took our 2 area carpet rugs and haven’t returned yet after 3.5 months already.
After 1 month I start calling, they procrastinated, then not responding to my calls and voicemails, I asked at least to bring my rags back in the condition it was taken, but nothing from them.
Currently we placed a police report. Next we need to sue this business in order to return my property back.
Don’t get involved with this people- my advice!

Quite honestly, this review may never convey how pleased I was with the services of PlatinumCare! Rob was beyond professional and truly an expert in reviving my (poorly installed) upstairs carpeting. Roughly 2000 sq ft was in horrible condition with dozens of wrinkles and 10+ years of dirt/abuse. The final product clearly exceeded my expectations and will always recommend them to anyone in need.

Having a dog and 4 year old child with white carpet isn’t always easy to manage. Platinum care came out and make our carpets and couches look brand new. We are extremely happy and satisfied with your company and will recommend you to everyone!

I had some work to be done in my crawlspace and found PlatinumCare on google. I saw good ratings and didn’t make a full company review. It was my mistake. This is a primarily carpet cleaning company (where they might be good) and crawlspace related job (crack repair) is not their primary specific. They are not professionals in this area. The company is small and tries to cover a wide area of work which is not possible to do professionally.

I got a quote and then after the initial visit it was increased by 50% since more materials had to be used. I agreed on it. Initially everything went well. They “finished” the work in 3 days and I paid full amount (close to 3k) without verification since I trusted them. Then I checked the job and it was not completed – they didn’t finish it properly, didn’t double check all ports before leaving. Otherwise, they could avoid an extra visit. So Rob scheduled another visit in 2 weeks. They completed the rest of the items except one spot which required more product than expected. Rob proposed to use there foam or pay extra money to keep initial epoxy approach. I was ready to pay for extra epoxy. But he gave a product quote 3 times more expensive than the real price providing some reasons including some fake shipping costs! (warehouse with product is in 30 min drive from his office). I rejected non free “epoxy” approach and asked to finish as he proposed initially. But he changed his mind saying he wants more money anyway and not going to “keep coming” for free (they came 1 extra time only because they are not professional). I tried to arrange a call several times to discuss the further approach, but he was “with client” or “with kids” or needed “little bit” time and has never called me back. All these actions/discussions took more than month after they “finished” job and got paid. I had to remind about myself periodically. Once money paid – you are not valuable customer for them anymore.

So ~3k paid, work is not completed – this is the “honest quality service” I got from “platinum” cleaning company.

P.S. Rob please don’t reply with bible quotes as you did for some other negative reviews since you are not an honest man. If you have something to say – call me.

I am very pleased with the cleaning results. I didn't have to spend a whole day waiting for them to arrive. The results were great and the price very affordable. I was going to replace my carpeting, but now I can wait a few years. I highly recommend them.

Price point is great! Customer service is above and beyond, very thorough. We have 2 dogs that shed heavily and leave stains and our carpets look brand new after platinums cleaning services!

I hired PlatinumCare for clean up and restoration after a sewer backup in my home in June 2017 and was completely unsatisfied by the clean up and did not allow them to do the restoration of the walls and floor.

When I got the final bill it was $7,181.04. I felt I was grossly overcharged, because it seemed unbelievably high and I did not agree PlatinumCare performed much of the work to the extent they were charging me for.

For example, PlatinumCare was not able to come to my property for over 24-hours after the sewer back up and I had mopped up much of the water and the rest went back down the sewer drain by the time they showed up, yet their bill documented 6 hours of water extraction. This is only one example, as I was contesting nearly every charge page-by-page, line-by-line of PlatinumCare's final bill.

I decided not to pay the bill until I had a chance to have it investigated and learn if I was being overcharged. PlatinumCare was not pleased I was questioning their bill and not immediately paying them, claiming the bill I received was discounted and 8 days later sent another bill removing discounts and raised the cost to $8,443.30, and adding legal fees bring the grand total owed to $9,600.60, almost the entire amount of my insurance coverage, which would have left me with almost nothing for the restoration work.

Eventually, PlatinumCare sued me in court for payment and even though I was ordered to pay PlatinumCare for their service, the judge admonished PlatinumCare for charging me so much, stating the cleanup should not cost more than the restoration work, and lowered what I owed by several thousand dollars to $4,729.38.

During the time PlatinumCare was working on cleaning the mess caused by the sewer backup at my property I kept a list of everything I was dissatisfied with:
• Poor communication
• Continually late
• Not following through on many instructions from me or steps they informed would be performed
• Did not give me trash bag count for disposal of refuse, as requested several times, and needed by my garbage pickup service
• Tracked white drywall dust up steps going upstairs and throughout the upstairs in the living room (The sewer backup was downstairs, no damage upstairs.)
• Kept forgetting to bring vacuum to sweep stairs, after tracking white drywall dust all over them
• Did not properly evaluate the room across from the source of the sewer backup claiming there was no water damage until I insisted they had to move a shelf to check properly and they did find water damage
• Had to ask for things to be cleaned and sanitized that should have been done without requesting it
• Did not follow up as they indicated, regarding completing work
• Left all baseboards behind, without disposing of them, stating they could be reused, however every drywall estimator said that was absolutely false and showed me the water damage, which was quite evident, so I had to dispose of them
• Never covered large patio sliding door curtains in the office, as I requested, before cutting and removing drywall, saturating them in white drywall dust, and then never cleaned them after I requested it be done
• Threw out the rug under my office work chair, although it had no damage
• Never made me feel like my house was a priority for them and always making excuses why they were late or had to leave right away
• Marked up walls with scratches and white drywall dust
• Charged for cleaning bathroom shower floor but left behind debris, and the bathroom never had any damage to begin with other than the mess PlatinumCare created
• Did not clean or sanitize floor under dryer and washing machine or remove drywall from behind dryer and washing machine
• Did not fully complete job as specified

In conclusion, having a sewer backup in your home is a very traumatic experience and my personal experience using PlatinumCare made it a nightmare.

We had Platinum Care come out to clean our carpets. They showed up on time and were very professional. Our carpets look great! We will definitely have them come out again in the future.

We used Rob and PlatinumCare Cleaning and the results were great. He removed tough spots and took the time to do the job correctly. I would recommend them for your carpet care needs.
