I had a 100 amp main breaker fail. Unfortunatley the breaker was very old, obsolete and no longer available. So, the breaker box needed to be replaced. I get it, these do have a service life. The first vendor I had out was fine but the estimated cost seem way more than one would exect. Also there was a sales pitch to sign up for other services. I found through the process, that the price changed to something they thought I might bite on. I would think on something like this, I would not need to negotiate as it's a common repair.

So for a gut check I'd called some other vendors for estimates. Thankfully, True Services was available to take a look. I could not have asked for a better experience. Martin is a pro. After a thorough inspection he explained why the failure happened and offered choices of remedy. We agreed on a solution and the price was very right compared to the other company. In the end I was upgraded to 200 amp service with whole house surge protection at 64% to the last estimate that was for just the minimum replacement (obviously, this could vary wildly but that was my circumstance). Laura and Martin definitely helped me out A-Z, and in the process took a load of stress off of me. Laura set things up and Martin and his great team did the work. Brass tacks of this business from my perspective; honest, competitive, on time, competent, quick, accurate, polite and a real pleasure to work with. As well, the pricing was way more in line with what I would have expected, zero pressure to do anything, and Martin was able to provide more than one solution and price points in my situation. I will call them back any time I need electrical assistance from people I trust, and would recommend others to do the same.

Martin has done electrical work for us twice now. He is always super courteous, professional, and informative. He works quickly and we have been very happy with service both times. Great service and the work was done well. We had 4 projects for them and all were done accurately, safely, and there was no mess left behind. We're very satisfied with their excellent work.

I needed to install a level 2 charger for our plugged in hybrid car we recently purchased. After some searching, we decided to go with the Charge Point level 2 charger, which can be used for other electric cars as well. Not sure if that will work with our car and panel, I reached out to Martin, Martin called several times to confirm the specs and patiently answered all my questions. After we received the charger, he and his team came and installed it. They did a great job and even helped me set up the app. it works beautifully. And their price can not be beat!

A few weeks ago we ran into a bit of a emergency after normal business hours. While the first few companies I called were not able to get someone out until the next day, Martin was the only provider willing to come out that night. After calling around 8:00PM, he was at our home by 8:30PM and had the job completed by 9:15PM. He was professional, friendly, and completed the job to a degree that exceeded our expectations. True Service saved us a ton of hassle and will be our first call going forward with any project where we can use them. Could not recommend more highly.

These guys installed new lighting in my home quickly and efficiently. Love my new smart lights so I don't have to be in the dark all the time. I use them on every project even hanging tvs These guys are great honest and competitive. Honestly I'll never call anyone else as long as The owner Martin is still around

Had 1 ceiling fan and 2 outlets installed and 1 ceiling fan replaced and Micah and Ian were awesome. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and let me know what was going on during each process.

Martin and his team did a great job sorting out a few issues at our house. They installed a new hot tub line and spa gfci from the main panel to the other side of the house. Work was fast and clean. Communication and scheduling was flawless. They also made quick work of a meter repair and took care of all the permits and utility coordination. I look forward to calling again for more projects.

We would highly recommend True Service Electric! Our first introduction to this company was on Yelp, where we found them. When we called, Laura answered and was very warm and kind. We could tell she was very sincere in wanting to help us with our needs. Our breaker had blown on our water heater. She was able to quickly schedule us. Martin and his team showed up at our location and were very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. (They were able to arrive earlier than anticipated and Laura called us to make sure that was ok.) Once on our site, the guys quickly, carefully, and efficiently addressed our problem, replaced the blown breaker, and checked to make sure everything was in good order before leaving.

True Service was recommended to us by Dryer & Reinbold BMW for installation of an EV Charger. They managed to fit us in within 48 hours and provided a very personal, friendly and efficient service. I would definitely go back to them!

From the first call to True Service to the completion of the job I was extremely satisfied. Great communication, punctual, professional, great workmanship, and fair pricing. An estimate was sent prior to the appointment for no surprise fees. The gentlemen who came out confirmed the plan, explained the process, worked efficiently and cleaned up after the project. We have used Genesis for all of our electrical needs in the last year and have been very pleased. They're timely, professional, helpful and do a great job with their work. We will definitely use them in the future!

So I had the pleasure of working with them to do the electrical inspection and everything was good. So we schedule with them to come out to do the repair and not told that when they come out they need 50% up front. I got the call the day before telling me that they were gonna cancel the appointment because they have not received 50% payment I advise the customer service which person name was Mya that we do have check and it’s a whole amount not 50% of upfront cost and that we were going to pay the whole check when the services was complete she said OK and I sent her an email showing the cashiers check to their company the appointment was scheduled and we was ready to go. Now we here today when they came out and the first thing They asked was the 50% upfront advise person that was doing the work that we had the whole check and I had already spoke with Mya and it was OK for them to do the work and then I will give the whole check with services were complete. The workers go outside and they called their boss the boss give me a call and I’m trying to explain to the owner that you know nobody told us about 50% and I spoke with Mya and it was OK he tells me that not how they work and I need 50% upfront and that if I can find another way to give them 50% upfront I said why would I do that if A cashier check made out to their company. They don’t wanna do business with us and that is fine really don’t matter about not wanting to do business with us. it’s all about the money not customers.

WOW, WOW, and WOW! I can't tell you how impressed we are with Genesis Electric! Our power was flickering throughout our whole house and we were worried that perhaps a mouse or other critter had chewed through some major wiring. We also feared it might cause a fire so we called our usual electrician at 6pm. No answer so we called 7 other electric companies that advertised 24/7 emergency service. None were available until the next day and one even said not until 4 days from now. I tried Genesis and spoke immediately to an electrician (not a company rep) who told me he would send help. Within less than two hours, Dean showed up. In the meantime, Duke Energy had arrived as well. After Dean spoke with Duke, he felt they had it under control and refused to charge us a service fee, even after he came out after normal hours. All I can say is there not many companies, especially one we hadn't used before, that wouldn't charge a service call. Kudos to your company and stellar customer service. I think you will become our new "go to" electrician. Thanks again.

Outstanding group of men working on my home! They've done a wonderful job, they show great care in all they do and I'll certainly be using them again in the future. They've completed 3 jobs for me so far!

Our church building is over 125 years old so we do run into electrical problems. We call Genesis. Old building, old fixtures that we do not want to lose were failing. Cody, Wes, and Zach did an excellent job. Very professional, polite, and efficient.
