I was able to get someone out to the house quickly. The service techs were very friendly and professional. They were able to diagnose and fix my problem quickly. I thought the total price was a little high for the work done, but I was very pleased with the work and service.

Genesis Electrical always does a professional job! They are my go-to electrician in the Indy area.

I’m still a little in shock over our service with Genesis. Noah and his partner came to our house last week, they were very polite. This review is not about their character but rather genesis ethical billing. They were not able to help us with our issue. We’re at our house for maybe an hour. Took off our Tv (they did help put it back), flipped a few breakers and switches…to tell us their approach to fixing our issue was to drill through our stone wall. We said no thank you. Then when it came time to pay the bill…they charged us over $400- any they did nothing! They charged us a “trouble shooting fee” which I feel is fair, and I feel that is all we should have been charged. But then they charged us an hourly rate on top of that. An hourly rate for what? They didn’t actually do any work, aside from the “trouble shooting”. I feel like I should have spoke up, but I was sort of in shock. Lesson learned and fair warning to anyone else who hires this company.

Caleb was great. He explained what the work would look like, he identified an unexpected issue and came up with a great solution. Really appreciated his attention to detail.

Had two outlets that were no longer functioning. Zach came by, found out what was going on, and recommended a specific repair for the service. Turns out squirrels like wires. He was able to describe the timeline, estimate, and other options that could be pursued. He was upfront and honest. They were able to squeeze in the repair same day. Caleb arrived to assist, and they did the repair together. It took a little longer than I expected, but they did a thorough job and inspected/ replaced some other wires that had been chewed into in the vicinity. The final cost was exactly what was initially quoted. They cleaned up afterward. They were respectful of the space and the pets. Everything I could have asked for.

One thing that impressed me... They disclosed they accidentally drilled through a piece of drywall. It was so small and out of the way I never would've noticed it. They repaired it. I only mention this, because I don't see this kind of honesty often.

Luke came to our home to see what we needed done. He was very polite, gave us an estimate and told us approximately how long it would take.
Noah came to install two light fixtures in our home and replace our garage door lights and pole light. He was very friendly and did a great job!

I needed a few outlets added to my garage--these guys were courteous, professional and affordable. I had some follow up from the work, which they handled superbly. I recommend them and I'll be using them again for future projects, large and small!

Great customer service but pricey

Luke changed an outlet and figured out why breakers weren’t working. He was thorough and went through the lines to find the source of issues. Fair pricing and he didn’t try to add things on. Very trustworthy and we will use Luke & Genesis again!
