I had a short in my breaker box that wouldn't reset. I called TWO electricians to come fix the problem and they both were stumped. I found AEY in the Money pages booklet and he was able to get to me the same day. After an hr of troubleshooting the problem was solved!! I love how he explained everything that he was doing which in turn made me a little knowledgeable now! Lol but he was very thorough and loved the challenge! I definitely recommend you giving them a call regarding your electrical needs!! I am a happy customer for sure!!

Paid in advance to have motion sensor garage lights, back patio lights, and front porch patio lights installed. He kept saying he would come back and never showed. The only lights that "sometimes" work are the front porch lights. He never came back to fix the garage or back patio light or troubleshoot the front porch lights. I knew he was busy and wanted to see his business succeed so I tried to be patient with him.
Then he decided to leave a bad review on my business page because he never provided information I needed to do the job he hired me for. He has a problem with timeliness, honoring his appointments (12 missed appointments) and work completion (I'm still in the dark for lights installations I paid for). (09/05/2021 UPDATE: The lawsuit filed by Mr. Wilson against my company ruled in MY FAVOR, I have since hired another electrician to repair the faulty work he performed).

AEY was very quick and professional. My specific job was only to review and inspect 2 circuits I set up myself and then attach each circuit to the breaker box, effectively making them live. Given I had done some of the work myself AEY explained each of the items that make good wiring and some tips and tricks for future project. AEY also offered to have me watch the installation into the breaker box and was very willing to explain or teach me the process of how the electrical circuits function which was very reassuring that they knew what they were doing. Overall excellent experience and would recommend!!

Did do what was promised. Put in electrical breaker because the breaker continued to switch off. He replaced it and said that if it pops again he would come back and run a new power line to the electrical box. Monday came and no one answered the phone. Didn't return my calls. I went to his office, NO OFFICE a empty building. A tattoo shop. Never again will I do business with them. Sad.. took my 250 dollars from a senior citizen. SAD.

I emailed Chris on a Saturday morning because we didn't have power to our bathrooms. He was there before noon and had the problem fixed and completed very quickly. His price was very reasonable. I will gladly use him again

Chris was awesome! He was very responsive, thorough, and his pricing was reasonable. He added an outlet for my gas stove and an outlet in my basement. I highly recommend AEY of Fort Wayne for any electrical needs you may have.

We are very pleased with AEY. Chris provided a thorough estimate and his crew, Trevor and Alex, were great in getting the job complete, along with keeping us informed of their progress. We had a plumber working in the crawl space at the same time, and Trevor worked greatly with and around him so both jobs could be completed in a timely manner.

Had Chris come out to fix an issue with our guest bathroom. He was pleasant and very helpful. He showed ahead of schedule and got right to work. Very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone looking for electrical work.

I had a few outlets that weren't working. So I called AEY cause I used them before. Again he was very thorough and detailed. He found the problem within an hour, got me back up and running. Chris definitely knows his stuff and is the ONLY one I will call for my electrical needs!!

My family had half of our power go out yesterday at our home. We called different business throughout the day and night. I won't name the other business but they totally ghosted us. Never came. My wife pulled up AEY. It was almost midnight when I left a message. Very quickly I received a call back. The owner set up a time in the morning and his workers showed up exactly when they said they would. Took them about 45 minutes in total to fix our problem and give a detailed explanation about steps needed to be taken that they weren't able to fix. My family is very grateful for their time and quality of work done. I will definitely use AEY in an emergency or other needs again. We are very happy with their work!

Chris did a great job in running wire for a recently added electric stove, changed out my smoke detectors and replaced several light fixtures. Every thing was done professionally and cleaned up afterwards. Very responsive to any question, will definitely be keeping his contact information in a save place! Would highly recommend AEY Electrical Service!

AEY Electrical was prompt and Chris was both professional and did an awesome job. The prices were totally fair and the work done was amazing. We heard about this company from a friend. Chris did a great job. he was professional, courteous and gave us several options for installing heaters in our home. he did a super job of explaining things to us every step of the way and made sure we were happy with his work We received excellent customer service and appreciated and enjoyed having him in our home. I would recommend him.

We had some challenging issues at our house and Chris was able to handle them all, making sure our needs were met and to code. He knows what he is doing and it shows. He was on time, and affordable! Also very personable and professional. We have some more electrical work we want done in the future and when we are ready for the next Reno projects we are calling Chris at AEY!

Chris at AEY came out very quickly to diagnose the electrical issues I was having at my warehouse. Much to my surprise, the issues weren’t as serious as I thought they were. (Or he made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal)

In the end all of my lights, switches and outlets worked again and the fee for service was SUPER reasonable. Other electricians I called first lead off with talking about replacing breaker boxes and tearing walls open. I’m glad to say that no walls or wallets were harmed today.

I wish I could give no stars. I had our electrical panel upgraded and grounded. Paid 1/2 down for materials. Chris and his wife showed up to do the work and asked for the rest of the money to buy materials. (What happened to the money I paid for materials?) The job was quoted for 6 hours which turned into 4 days of promising to finish with nothing but excuses. I had to put my foot down to get him to show up and finish. They left a huge mess behind my dryer, only installed 3 of the 5 breakers I was charged for. I have tried to get my credit back for the other two breakers. I have been lied to twice about receiving my credit for the breakers; although Chris did admit that he owes it me. So, now I am in the process of filing with the Small Claims Division in Allen County.

Chris and Derek were awesome! I am so happy with the service they provided me. Chris was very responsive, coming over for a quote and keeping me informed by text of when he would arrive. Today, they showed up as expected and installed 4 ceiling fans, 3 lights, changed out my exhaust fan and put in a can light. Ran into a glitch with the dimmable switches, but Chris ran out and purchased what I needed and had all this done in less than a day. Chris and Derek were so personable and easy to work with! Definitely will work with them again.

Chris came to my home to troubleshoot several various issues, and never made me feel like my questions/concerns were too small for his time. For a reasonable price, he spent time making minor fixes or recommendations to allow us to solve each issue. I appreciate his honesty and expertise, and will certainly be contacting AEY again for future electrical needs.

We had Chris work on our house over 4 years ago. He took a very long time to do the job and begged me for the balance of the agreed amount when he was not yet finished. He would show up and do a couple hours of work and then leave, claiming his wife would be mad if he didn’t get home (very unprofessional). So why am I just now writing this review? We had power to our island stop working and went to the crawl space to check out the problem. We discovered the wires were not nailed to the joist ls as they should’ve been and were spliced together without a proper electrical box. This is a huge safety hazard and could easily have caused a fire. I don’t know how contractors cut corners like this and sleep at night. I am only writing this review because I feel compelled to warn others and prevent something devastating from happening. Beware!!!

Chris and his crew are beyond amazing. They did a brilliant job of installing new recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting and all new outlets and switches in an older home.
