Home Services reviews in Fort Wayne, Indiana

I would not recommend this service. If your plants die after being installed and your lawn has bare spots and looks half dead, it will be your fault that you didn’t water the plants and you’ll be labeled a ‘complainer’ because you have the nerve to suggest your lawn is looking bad. I just wanted a nice lawn and shame on me for asking questions and describing the state of my lawn so it could be improved.

Wonderful job and great service! The crew was fast, neat, and professional. Highly recommended!

This is less a review about their service and more a review about their people. I was at the gas station moments ago, and two young Carr’s employees were inside getting refreshments. These young men extended such wonderful courtesy to an elderly customer. Sometimes you figure out all you need to know about a business by the way the employees treat people. Look forward to trying lawn service in the future.

I am and have been very please with the quality of work Carr's provides. They always show up at my residence at about the same time each week which is nice when you have multiple little children running around. They always take good care of my hedges and landscaping. Never have anything to complain about. I would highly recommend them.

Carr's was recommended to us by a local nursery who had drawn up a plan to replace our old, worn out landscaping. From the first call with office staff to the final clean up, everyone we had contact with was thorough, cordial, courteous, and conscientious. We have a lot of walkers in our neighborhood, and every one has been complimentary while I've been out watering. We're very pleased with the entire project and I told them that I would let everyone know. Thank you Carr's!

Very dissatisfied with the service received. I had this company help with our irrigation system twice this year. The billing practices are poor. I had them come out sometime in June. At that time they Mailed me a paper statement to pay. I had written a check and then proceeded to call and confirm if they received the check. They had confirmed that they did. Then, I had them come back in October to winterize our system. They proceeded to send us another invoice via mail at that time with the total from the first initial service and the current one. They charged me a $25 late fee on top. I guess no one must have bothered to collect payment all the way from June or notify me that they did not received payment (after I called to confirm) and then added a late fee to my bill. This is more about the principle for me. I went ahead and checked my banking statements to make sure they had not cashed that previous Check. It looks like it was never cashed. Regardless not sure who operates their billing but this definitely is unacceptable. I kindly called To try and resolve this issue over the phone and they were not willing to be helpful. They could have at the very least waived the late fee.
*Thanks for the reply back. We will agree to disagree regarding how payments were handled. One of the main concerns I am voicing out is that there was no follow up on the amount owed and then Carr's Landscape decides to realize this months after and just tacks it on to the new invoice with a late fee. There were better ways to handle it. Further, my call to voice my concerns fell on deaf ears and you guys decided to keep the late fee there.
Your statement "quick response time in the drought this summer to get the system repaired and running along with shutting down this fall before damage was done to the system would have been given more consideration while rating our company.",
is not helpful. There are countless lawn companies who could provide this service. How your customers are treated/feel after a service is very important but I guess that's not important to you. People do business with people they know, like and trust. Work on your customer service. We will not be returning customers and I will continue to share my review. If you actually want to make this right reimburse me the late fee or learn to accept feedback. -
I hired Carr’s to remove sod and enlarge beds at our home. The work they do was amazing and done in a timely manner! Not only were the beds perfectly cut out, the crew blow the grass with a leaf blower and completed cleaned the area. I highly recommend them for you lawn needs.

The landscape work and also the irrigation system repair was very thorough and professional. Their attention to detail was way beyond that which we have experienced with other landscape and irrigation contractors. This was our fifth experience with Carr Lawn and Landscape, and each has been equally as good. We will continue to employ their services as we may need. I would highly recommend this company.

We had tried fixing up this flower bed last year after purchasing the house. The previous owners planted anything and everything they could fit. We had lilly of the valley overtaking the whole flower bed and the yard.
Carr's came out and sprayed everything to kill it. After that, they dug it out, filled with dirt and added mulch. They did an excellent job and I've got compliments on it and there's no flowers in there yet. I will use again if I ever need anything like this done.
If I had to give them one suggestion, was their communication with the customer could use a little work. There was a minor misunderstanding but they made it right, so nothing against them. Just a suggestion for the future.
Will recommend their service as my dad recommended them to me. -
Carrs does a good job. For the folks complaining about their lawn, you actually need to do some work and water it after the seed is down. I’ve used them for a couple years now and have one of the nicest lawns in the subdivision.

The squirrelly guy John is horrible…. I’m not sure what I saw him doing in the bushes, but it looked like he was peeing on my property! Josh, In the other hand, shows pride and respect for his work. 5 stars to Josh 1 star to John for an average of 3 stars 👍

As a former Perennial Care Team member, I can speak to the absolute high quality care that goes into each project and client property. They pull out all the stops to make sure every client gets the full treatment. Clients are treated like family and very personally taken care of.

LML Estate Management replaced our original landscaping with upgraded stonework, shrubs and plantings, beds and trimwork. They created a stone firepit and decking that is just fabulous. We trust them with all of our outdoor lawn and property maintenance.

We had a challenging issue with an eroding island in a small backyard pond. LML was responsive and such a great problem solver! Work was completed as estimated and the result (a seawall with rocks added for a more natural look) is fabulous. We didn’t know we could get so excited by beautiful rocks!!!
