Somehow my previous review was removed but you can see the full review on YELP where he only has a 2 star rating. Joe is unprofessional and does not value you or your time. When he showed up an hour late without so much as a call or text he got upset with me and told me he couldn't come back for three weeks and it was my fault for not answering the door. When I canceled the service due to the unprofessionalism, he told me this is why his wife tells him not to work with stupid people. There are a ton of landscapers in Fort Wayne don't waste your time.

Joe and his team helped us remedy an ongoing water intrusion issue at one of our properties. He was thoughtful and thorough in his assessment and the resulting improvement to the drainage is amazing. The rooms that were being affected are staying dry half a year later and we are relieved to have the water moving away from the foundations.

Joe was fantastic!! He answered every question I had (and I had a lot lol) with a casual confidence and my yard speaks to his knowledge! He and his team took my yard to a 10 and even went above and beyond to spray weeds I had in the surrounding area. They will definitely be my first call the next time I have landscaping needs

Very good work! Joe sent Lamont & Willie came out and they did a great job and I'm very impressed 👏 👌.. showed up on time and they worked hard for until the job was done. I would recommend 10/10

We contacted them for an estimate and they immediately came out and gave us a reasonable estimate. Waiting for a couple more estimates and could not get decent responses or take too long to get back with estimates. When I said put us on the books, they took two weeks to draw up a contract and bring it out to our house. We signed gave deposit and asked when the were going to start. A few days later they started and finished in a day. One part wasn’t to our liking because there was a miss communication. They returned to finish it up a few days later.
Very pleasant people. I would recommend them for your landscaping needs.

True story I had a contractor set up to install a irrigation system on my house and for unknown reasons I could not get that contractor to show up at my home with the contract to do the job nor did that contractor return my phone call, that contractor did give myself a fair estimate on that job but for unknown reasons did not want to install and irrigation system at my home or want my business. So I went online and saw S&H Landscaping and contacted and talk to Joe and Joe gave myself fair estimate to install a irrigation system on my home . And I ended up having S&H Landscaping installing a irrigation system at my home .Besides doing landscaping and installing irrigation systems Joe pointed out that I need to address certain things that I was not aware at that time at my home that he found while installing the irrigation system at my home . And did a good job on installing the irrigation system at my home .
I would recommend people to use S&H Landscaping .

Joe and his crew did great work! Joe communicated through the whole process and finished the job in one day. Joe and his crew were friendly and polite.

I had flooding issues behind my home in the spring and when we had hard rains. S&H Landscaping gave an accurate estimate and detailed description of the work involved to remedy my problem. Several options were offered and discussed which would benefit me the most. Price was very reasonable and the quality of work exceeded what I needed. He went above and beyond what I asked for. I will definitely call upon them again for more landscape projects.

We had a uniques situation that we thought could not be fixed. Joe came out explained what he and his team could do and took care of our problem. Our pool was not dug out enough for a retaining wall and Joe and the team hand dug where needed and installed an amazing retaing wall for us. We would recommend them to anyone and if needed, we will use them again.

Unprofessional and rude. We set up an estimate appointment for 8 am. He arrived at 7:45 am per my security cameras. He knocked but I did not hear as I was in the bathroom. I received two missed calls at 7:47 am, came out to no one here by 7:50 am. I called him by 8 am, no answer. He called me back saying that no one answered. I asked if the appointment time was at 8. He said it was better to be early. I asked if he was early to have some patience for someone to be available at the appointment time. He hung up on me and then accused me of being rude via text. Seems like he only works on his own time and not set appointment times. I then asked him not to contact me and he text again, blaming me for his unwillingness to be patient and insulted my character. Save yourself the trouble of contacting this buisness.

Did a great job clearing my driveway. Fast service and very easy communication. Highly recommend!

Joe and his crew had a tall task of repairing the damages from a storm to my back and side yards of our home due to tree damages. After our tree guys were completed from clearing and cleaning up 3 downed trees and cutting one out, the S&H team came in to complete the monumental job of bringing in dirt to fill, level, and correct the grade of our yard. Then replant to majority of those areas and also were able to help reset and save our koi pond in the back that was also struck by a tree. To say that they were anything but excellent would be unfair. My wife and I appreciate the communication, honesty, transparency and all out efforts of everyone involved! You can be sure I will tell anyone who needs a landscaping service in Fort Wayne about your business. Blessings and best regards.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The team was professional, friendly, and really listened to what I wanted. Absolutely fantastic service and communication. Joe and his crew installed an irrigation system, drainage, lawn, and mulch for our home. When we initially called, Joe was incredibly responsive, answered all our questions professionally and pleasantly. He walked our property with us and gave us a quote soon after. The work was then done promptly (a couple weeks later) with first a visit by Joe’s plumber, Jeff, who did a fantastic job with the plumbing needed from our main water line to the new irrigation system. Joe and his crew came a few days later and did the rest of the work in less than a week. When there were issues, Joe took care of them promptly, all the while being clear and transparent with us. He took extra care with his work and it shows with the final result. I will be using S&H for lawn and landscaping care for the season as well. Highly recommend!

Joe and his crew worked fast and did a great job. Had trees removed, other trees trimmed, out of control bushes replaced and trimmed, flower beds planted, and weed control sprayed on gravel driveway. All came out great!!! 😁👍👍👍

Joe and his team did a fantastic job with our overgrown yard. We had his company pull out multiple bushes and weeds, kill and remove poison ivy, and take down a tree. His communication was excellent and his work is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend his company to anyone who needs a complete yard makeover.

Highly recommend! Joe was wonderful to work with! He came out to our property the day after I called, had a quote back to me in 2 days, and scheduled us in within a week or two. He took the time to explain what was going on in our yard and the steps he would take to fix it. Everything was done perfectly and at a fair price. S&H will be our go to for any landscaping needs we have in the future and who we will be recommending to our friends and family.

Incredible job, great company, great crew, I couldn't ask for better help. Due to some emergencies, I had to let things go for a little bit and it got out of hand. Between grass, weeds and overgrowth, the place was starting to look unbearable. After talking with them for a few minutes, they sent a crew out and took care of everything better than I was expecting. Trimming bushes and clearing walkways that I was hoping for but wasn't expecting. They really went above and beyond and can't say enough good things about them. Great job isn't saying enough, thank you, and I definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get some work done, done great, and by a great bunch of people.
