Bigs roofing is phenomenal. All be it this review is way overdue. They actually performed services for my house before I moved in. The previous home owners contracted them for several hail damage issues, including new skylights, roof, gutters, etc. When I moved in I noticed everything looked great. They were here finishing up when I moved in and everything looked fantastic. 3 days later as luck would have it a storm rolled thru, damaging a gutter they just completely fixed ( a tree fell on it). I called them and they came back out and fixed it at a reasonable price. They also finished up a skylight project at that time (that was also contracted out from the previous owners). They had to wait on the skylight ( this was during the COVID-19 transportation issues where no contractors could get parts). Unfortunately as fate would have it as they were repairing the skylight it broke and fell on our brand new pool cover ( inside pool). Btw I was never mad about that. I understand life, sometimes...no matter how hard you try, no matter what precautions you take, stuff will happen. But as soon as it did, the owner, who was here on the job, said well don’t pay us for the gutter repair until you figure out what the pool cover repair will cost. So a month later ( again we were having trouble getting contractors here mid- pandemic) we got ahold of our pool cover guy who explained we needed it replaced cuz of the holes in it the glass caused. I let Bigs know this, and within a couple weeks they cut us a check for the cost of it. I was stressed at first, cuz I know how much it would suck to accept a job, then lose money on it, and a lot of places would probably have made us argue to get our money, but Bigs didn’t. That just goes to show you what type of people they are. Granted I’m sure that skylight job goes smoothly 99 out of 100 times, but they definitely made it right. Not to mention our roof, gutters, and everything they fixed looks amazing. Thanks Bigs. Being a new home owner in Huntington it’s nice to know I have a roof guy. Next time anything happens you will be my first call. You guys are awesome!!!

My first experience with Big’s was having new gutters installed on my home. Good work and reasonable. I called them when I needed my roof and siding repaired. Always satisfied with their work. I have recommended them to my neighbors.

Perfect customer service. Had a small leak coming down our water heater pipe. And James traveled nearly 45 minutes to my house and caulked and sealed everything on the roof. Finger crossed for no more leaks! I will be calling them for any roof related problems and will also tell family and friends to call James. Great company.

Big Roofing installed a high quality roof for us this Spring. We've since had heavy rains and no issues with leaking. The crew was very thorough with their clean up and all of my landscaping was intact after the install. I would definitely work with Jeff and his Crew again.

Very responsive and kept me updated on appointment times and delays, due to the high demand of roofers after a bad storm. Workers were very professional and polite, worked quickly and quoted more reasonable than other contractractors. They did a fantastic job reparing the roof, other than the lack of sun bleach, you wouldnt have been able to tell i ever had a hole punched through my roof during the storm.

Our subdivision had a massive hail storm and Big's came to our rescue! They were so professional and high quality repairs were completed very quickly. Everyone was very responsive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and use Bigs for your roofing needs.

James was there for us after we had some bad hail damage. Even before we had decided to work with him, he went ahead and sealed a large hole up for us, to prevent further damage to the house!

My wife and I had never had the pleasure of working through a house insurance claim before. James and Angie walked us through every step of the way. They had to deal with a very difficult mortgage company that we were stuck with, but were very patient with us and, again, helped guide us through everything. They explained every step of the process to us. They worked wonderfully with our insurance company.

We always felt like we were their top priority. When it comes to the level of work they performed on our house .... when they were done, it was like we had a brand new, shiny house! Their work was of excellent quality and they handled the job in a quick amount of time!

I can’t thank the whole crew at Big’s Roofing and Repair enough for everything they did for us and our house. Above all, they made what was a very scary situation (all of the damage to our house) into something that we could handle.

The repairman showed up promptly, precisely in time, and immediately got to work. Took him all of 15 minutes to fix an issue that I had been told would take much longer by other services, and charged me a very fair price. And this was one. Friday before a holiday weekend. Excellent service overall. I will definitely call them the next time I have a roofing issue. 5 stars.

Under a contract that was signed.They came out to do the shingles on the roofand still have to do the siding. No one on the job speaks English all foreigners. I came home from work and it looks like a cyclone from the mess that they left around my house all trashed. They broke a few of my flowerpots. I called the business up, and the lady was very rude. She told me that it doesn’t matter about the flowers that is around my house that next year they will grow back. That when they come to put the siding on, they can’t watch the flowers that are around my house this time they had boxes on them. I told her about a review that it’s on here about what their flowers looked like after the siding was put on they don’t care about your stuff that is not their problem. They just collect the money and throw Stuff around. And she told me that wasn’t her problem if the stuff gets destroyed. And as I was speaking to her on the phone, her husband was telling her what to say.

I called and stated that I needed a repair done within three days and they did what they had to to come out and get an estimate the next day. The price was much less than their competitors and they were willing to come back later that day and do what they had to in order to get the job done in my strict timeline. All in all, they were very kind and professional. They even left the shingles that were left over! I will definitely recommend Bigs to others with roofing needs.

I waited for a month before Big’s could make it out to redo my flat roof- but man was the service good.
Angie was so nice on the phone and James was really helpful explaining my issues. He showed me what needed to be done and sit it in one day with his crew of family.
They redid the flashing on my roof even though it wasn’t in their estimate and didn’t charge me more.
I highly recommend the team, and know I’m in good hands after the repair. Oh and the clean up left my porch MUCH cleaner than it was- yard was perfect.

Recently had my entire roof replaced, and this company was an absolute pleasure to work with! The owner, James, was very helpful. I was a new homeowner with zero experience with roof repairs or replacements. James took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. He answered all of my questions in a respectful manner, and even volunteered information about things that I would have never thought to ask. He’s a straight shooter and easy to trust. I never felt like I was making the wrong decision when choosing this company. The roof looks great, no leaks, and they did the whole job in a day, which was quite impressive! Also, clean up was IMMACULATE! I cannot even tell they were here other than the fact that there’s a spectacular new roof on my home. I will definitely be hiring these guys for future jobs, and I highly recommend others do the same!

Very fast turn around to complete our home repairs. We have neigbors that signed with other companies and are still waiting on repairs to be completed. Communication was always spot on with Bigs and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. Would definitely recommend this company

During a recent storm some shingles had flipped up on my roof near the second story pitch...I ain't mess with heights so I started looking around. I called a few companies who seemed really big and had several "crews" and their websites seemed very generic with stock photos and photoshopped logos on trucks and trailers. I just wanted a small company that was local, not some faceless organization that subcontracts out and luckily, that was exactly what I got with Bigs Roofing.

I spoke with Angie and got James out here the next day. James is the owner, Angie is his wife. James was awesome to work with and more than fair. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he was very willing to explain the issues I was having and why. He was great. Whenever I have an issue with my roof or siding, I know 100% who I am going to call.

I had a minor leak in my roof and needed to get a professional out to take a look at what needed repaired. I called numerous companies and no one could come out for a week but 2 companies. Bigs Roofing was one of the companies able to do an inspection and came out the day I called. James did an assessment of my roof and was able to make the repair the very next day. He was down to earth and trustworthy. I have had to replace roofs in my 2 previous homes. James wasn't like the other companies in town that I have dealt with. He offered me an affordable solution without trying to sell me a new entire roof, unlike the other company that was able to take a look at my small leak this week. Great company and would recommended them to anyone looking for a roof or repair!

Everyone I worked with was honest, professional and very nice. They were patient and answered all my questions, working with me until I was satisfied. They repaired my hail damage and now my home looks as good as new. I've got absolutely zero complaints.

I would definitely use this business again and I've already recommended it to my family.

Thees guys have done a great job for me after extensive hail damage last May.. their crews were professional and great craftsman. They worked with the insurance company repairing the damage. I will use them again.

Bigs Roofing did an amazing job stripping off 2 layers of shingles, replacing damaged areas of wood, and reshingling our home in just one day. New gutters and fascia followed a couple of days later. Thank you to James and his team. We are glad we chose them.

This is how they work and no one on the job speaks English they subcontract and the people that come out they don’t even care about your stuff. I spoke with the lady on the phone and she told me this was OK and whenever they come out to do my siding they’re not even going to care about the flowers around my house. There’s other pictures out there that show how they put siding on and don’t care about any of your other stuff, they broke this time a few of my flowerpots and whenever I came home and seen this mess and called her she told me that this is how all contractors work and I told her no they didn’t and she told me that she didn’t want to speak to me anymore that she wants to speak to my husband she is done with me

I’ve held my peace for 4 years! I don’t leave reviews because I would prefer to resolve any issue with a company that I deal with instead of running to the internet. However, I have reached my breaking point. From the moment this deplorable company put on the siding we have had nothing but issues. The siding keeps falling off in the same spots. We’ve contacted them numerous times about it and each time they have come out and put it back up…you would think that is awfully generous of them right? Wrong! You know how they “solve” the problematic areas? By putting NAILS THROUGH YOUR BRAND NEW SIDING! Guess what? The nails don’t even hold! The cuts are horrible and there are huge gaps. No wonder the siding doesn’t stay. A child could have done a better job with safety scissors. When you reach out and get Angela, she is rude and doesn’t give two craps about anything. The two that worked on our house (Tyler and “Carni”) were fired for whatever reason not too long after they worked on our house. Hmmm wonder why? Perhaps they did less than satisfactory work? Took shortcuts? Our house is prime example of their “quality” work.
One would think since they take the leftover siding that you’ve paid for that they could at least properly fix problematic areas, but nope they won’t. Don’t bother even reporting their crap work to the BBB because nothing happens. They make every excuse to try and make themselves look like an honest company, but they are far from it. James’s son came out after our last complaint and after we filed a complaint with the BBB to “fix” another NEW area where the siding had fallen off (again using nails to fix it. I have it on video) He even mentioned our report to the BBB and said his dad, James, was going to reach out to the manufacturer of the siding to see if there were any recalls or issues (I have the conversation recorded) guess who never followed through with that? If you guessed James you would be correct. Haven’t heard anything from them in over a year. Imagine that!
If you want constant problems then Bigs is the right company for you. They are just storm damage chasers. One of their sons is even an insurance agent so they really know how to work the system. James pretty much told us that when we had a meeting with him. I have videos, and pictures to back up what I have written. All of it does us no good but I hope someone will be spared the headaches and finds a truly reputable company who actually cares about its customers. I wish I could say they were a great company, but the words would choke me. If I could have left zero stars I would have.

Brady was Professinal and on time he has good quality and good value in his work he was also very responsive and Knowledgeable about is line of work I would highly recommend four square roof cleaning to everyone
