I’m happy with TruGreen they treated my yard for weed control and mosquitoes. I seen instant results and they explain everything they do in detail I’ve tried to do my own seeding with minimal results they’re definitely worth the money to me. Many of my neighbors use already I was hesitant but after spending money on grass seed with lackluster results I decided it’s time for a yard I can be proud of. I’m glad I called them

Larry Magness was the Specialist who treated our lawn. He was very attentive to our needs and did an excellent job!

Great service. We have 2 large pups that have doggie door to come and go with. With ask for time notice to seal them inside, always let us know. Yard looks great

Overall, I'm pleased with the work. They edged and mowed and cleaned up after themselves. The price is fair. The only thing that I would mention is that communication sometimes is slower than desired, but not bad. I find the service worth it.

The guys are always polite. He had not been here before ( he said) and asked about the gate. The gate only hides the pool pump. Not sure if he got both sides of the back yard. I didn’t see him go. The grass area is shared with the neighbors so not sure if he knew part was ours. Would appreciate if you could follow up with the technician to make sure. We took out a couple everygreens and there are some weeds in that area

We paid for a one year service to have our lawn over seeded. We told them we only wanted what we prepaid for. And called in to cancel the service before the one year. We received a notice in the mail about a balance going to collections with no prior mailed late notices. When we called in the first representative acknowledged she saw the date we cancelled and that there was a refund owed. When she transferred to the other department to review, the woman said she was mistaken and we owed the $430. There was no consideration otherwise, and she said if the preference is set as email notification they don’t send anything in the mail until the balance goes to collections. This was a terrible experience and be aware that all their services auto renew and they don’t honor it after you call in to cancel.

Extremely Disappointed – Damaged My Yard and Poor Communication

I initially went online to get quotes for lawn care and ended up entering my number on TruGreen’s website. BIG mistake. From that moment on, I was bombarded with constant calls and multiple inconsistent quotes, which felt more like harassment than customer service.

Eventually, I agreed to a prepaid package (because apparently that’s the only way they offer it in order to get their promotions), and the first technician who came out was polite and did let me know he was on the property. However, even though they leave behind a sheet saying what they supposedly did, there’s no real explanation. No one tells you what chemicals are being used, how it affects pets or plants, or what specific issues they’re treating in your yard.
Then came the second visit, and things went downhill fast. I wanted to speak to the technician because I had noticed that my once-lush, newly planted grass was starting to turn brown and die. It was thriving before they touched it, and now it's completely ruined. Instead of taking responsibility, TruGreen tried to gaslight me—claiming it was the sun or pre-existing conditions that caused the damage, not their treatment. I have NEVER experienced any issues with my lawn until hiring TruGreen. Then they had the nerve to try and upsell me more services.

No thanks. I wouldn’t recommend TruGreen to anyone. Poor communication, questionable practices, and zero accountability.

I’m having a reoccurring problem with what I believe is Dallisgrass. I’ve contacted you numerous times about what I thought was crabgrass, and your treatments have been ineffective against this plant. So I was wondering if it requires a different herbicide for control. If it is Dallisgrass, it’s a perennial. Which would explain it’s getting bigger and bigger each year. As you can see from the photos it grows fast and outcompetes. The reason I only gave you 4 stars instead of 5, was because this information was sent to you before the treatment by email and your website messages. I guess the information was not sent to the technician in time. I fault the system for that, not the technician. I would give the technician 5 stars for his part.

Fabulous people work there and always willing to help customers. Love this store. A pleasure to shop there. Great products and service. I love their garden dept. too. Much more accommodating than the competition big box stores.

Besides the product everywhere. They had a good pricing on most of the stuff I was looking at. Only one employee was around that knew anything. So that was a bit difficult. There was someone there to load mulch for me which was amazing.

Had no permission to be in my yard. Left chunks of tree and deep dually ruts. Very unprofessional.

On time, professional, very nice, and safe; the branch was over a power line. I was happy he closed all the gates behind him and double checked for any loose splinters since I own a dog.
