I contacted Alex on a Sunday about my washer being inoperable. I could not believe how quickly he responded. He came out the next morning, diagnosed the issues and told me candidly it would be more expensive to have it repaired versus buying a new one. Short version: Fixed our dishwasher. A pleasure to work with. Price seemed reasonable. Likely to hire again.

Long version: Our dishwasher broke. I'm not the type to call a serviceman first thing, so I tried a lot of self help - inspected the sump, filters, and arms. Eliminating those, I did the "consult Google" thing, and figured out that we probably needed a new circulation pump. Seemed like a chore, so I looked for a serviceman.

Alex had appointments available the next day. He listened to the machine operating, and quickly concluded that the circulation pump "is trying to go on, but it just can't do it.". Came back the next morning with the part, and we're good to go.

Great to work with. Cleaned up afterwards thoroughly (cleaner than it was before he started.) Floor completely scratchless. Worked quicky, arrived on time. No complaints.

We didn't shop price. He charged $300 for the job. I made sure the part was available before I called him (rookie mistake I made in the past), and the part costed around $150. Happy to spend that and preserve my weekend. Would call him again.

Alex did a great job repairing my washing machine that was leaking from the bottom. He was able to fit me in his schedule within one day to assess the issue. He determined I needed a new drain hose which he proceeded to order after letting me know the total cost. He was great communicating his arrival times and when the part would be available. Alex was very professional in analyzing the problem with our dishwasher. He replaced the pump, and it seems to be working properly. He arrived on time, listened to my input, and immediately began working. He put things back together in an orderly way. We would use him again.

I had called several highly rated appliance repair shops but they were all too busy to get to me before at least a week. But, I needed my refrigerator repaired right away. When I called Alex, I had a little trouble understanding him, because of his accent. But, he was able to come right away, so I said come.

When he showed, he was neat, clean and very business-like. After looking at the problem, Alex indicated that my four year old KitchenAid would need several parts, and after looking up prices, said it would be $375 dollars for parts and $165 for labor. But, I would have to pay the parts up front.

I was skeptical, because I didn’t really know him, and I had just looked him up on line. But, I decided to risk it. He seemed to know what he was doing, and gave off a pretty good vibe. (But, I really didn’t think I would hear from him again. )

He told me the parts were coming from Illinois, and he expected them to come the next day, and he would text me when they came to set up a time to install them.

The next evening, Alex texted me that the parts were in, and could he come the next morning to install them. We agreed on a time in the morning and he showed up right on time.

He went right to work taking the cooling system apart. There was ice all over the coils and he used a steamer that he brought and melted the ice off. He was very neat about it, and did not create any mess.

It took him about 2 1/2 or 3 hours to clean up the ice buildup, remove the old parts (ice maker and circulation fan), install the new parts, and initialize the system. All the time he was very quiet and just working away.

I wrote hiim a check, we chatted a bit, and he left.

My refrigerator is now working with a good freeze. I probably won’t have ice until later today. But, the ice-maker appears to be working as well.

I was very impressed with how Alex worked. Very clean, very quiet, and very competent.

Alex was on time and very professional. Alex had my washer diagnosed within minutes. I thought it was the panel board and it was only a corroded sensor. Alex is honest and will not have you pay for more than what he does. He explains everything and leaves your area looking better then when he arrived.
