Great Lakes Radon does a clean, tight and professional job. Our radon meter was returning ~6.5 (on average) for two weeks prior to their mitigation install. Reset the meter that night, and began averaging ~1.5 the next day. Mission accomplished.

I had very high radon in my house higher levels than most people would have….in the 30s. Great Lakes radon was quick to respond when I called them and they were at my house within a week to put in the mitigation system. They were very professional and as soon as the mitigation system was put in within 24 hours it went from 30 to .7. Quick and easy process!

Will and Dane from Great Lakes Radon are fast, efficient, responsive, and very professional. They explained everything they needed to do and answered all questions that I had. We had an issue where the radon levels were not as low as they should be, at first, and they immediately came out and installed a more powerful fan. Extremely satisfied with my experience. My levels we between 5 and 30 depending on the weather. After my system was installed they are consistently below 1. The gentlemen that did the work were quick, efficient and very polite. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Great Lakes Radon installed an active radon mitigation system at my home today. The crew of 2 arrived promptly within their stated window. They quickly started working and completed the entire installation in less than an hour and a half. They discussed placement options with me and listened to my suggestions. My 2 suggestions for continuous improvement are:
1. Neater application of caulk to seal joints. The caulk is doing its job, but it was applied hastily.
2. Better cleanup of the worksite. Use a vacuum rather than just a broom to clean up the interior workspace, and consider a leaf blower or using a customer's garden hose to cleanup the brick dust on the exterior.

Great work, excellent customer service, radon levels have been near 0 since the installation. The crew was accommodating of my work schedule and got the job done while I was finishing my work. It was a smooth transaction, and the job was done very well.

The Great Lakes Radon team was super helpful on the phone and answered all of my questions thoroughly before I even committed to their company. They accommodated our needs. The color matching was somewhat limited so I'm going to paint the piping separately, but this limitation was discussed ahead of time, so I expected it.

They were very responsive in providing us with a competitive quote and getting us on their schedule. After a scheduling mishap, they were still able to fit us in, which we really appreciate. The team was very friendly, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up before they left.

As for how well the radon mitigation system works, we’re not sure yet. They didn’t test the basement after the system was installed, but we plan to get a monitor to check the radon levels ourselves. Hopefully, the levels come back normal. If not, we trust that they will stand behind their work and return to make any necessary adjustments.
