Home Services reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

This place was so nice really had a variety of flowers and veggies at decent prices. They had some good music and some nice fountains. Spacious and full of healthy plant selections.

They are wonderful and prices are fair. So many conversations about shade and water! But mostly appreciate the love of nature and that they foster interaction not just sell stuff! (But the pre potted stuff they sell is out of this world and made with the best dirt possible)

Lots of variety!
Lots of native plants.
1st time here..a tad confusing how to enter when we parked up front.
Very pricey...EXCEPT the roses are SO cheaply priced here compared to chicago ( $38 vs $60 ) -
We've been to about 100 garden centers throughout the midwest and beyond and this is one of the best. Hugh selection of Japanese Maples and conifers as well as perennials, annuals, veggies, and small to massive garden pots. Visited May 14th, 2025 and bought some unique annuals and a Folkert's Select Gingko tree.

Great place to buy a tree. Huge selection and absolutely the best staff! The team who planted our tree took their time and to give our new tree the TLC like they were planting it in their yard. Well managed, customer friendly company.

When this shop was closed yesterday to observe Ice Out I was more than happy to come in and support them today. Bought this little cutie and enjoyed the friendly staff. Rosie's is one of my top two places to shop for plants because they tend to have more variety of indoor plants and reasonable prices.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews as there is enough negativity in the world. But need to air it out. Bought an arborvitae $55 two months ago. It was troubled but with limited inventory in mid summer I selected one that needed some attention due to a browned branch. Long story short it didn’t survive 1 month. The other three we purchased are still thriving, as well as the two from last year. I understand the policy here at Rosie’s as a 50% credit within a year. This is obviously a plant they shouldn’t have sold me or anyone. I asked for a replacement and was denied. I will not return to work with Rosie’s as this is the second plant in two years that has not made it. We have bought 23 other plants from them that are still thriving in our garden. We have now lost over $300 with Rosie’s plants. Asking for a replacement was too much. Good luck and choose wisely as you could lose a lot of money here. I will go elsewhere.

I can’t say enough good things about Rosie’s Gardens, and especially about Evie! My girlfriend and I have been helped by her on two different visits, and both times she went above and beyond. Not only did she help us find absolutely gorgeous pots that fit our plants perfectly, but she also shared her deep knowledge about plant care in a way that was super approachable.
Evie guided us through which plants need sunlight and which ones thrive in shade, and even suggested a few plants we would have never considered and they’ve turned out to be some of our favorites! You can really tell she cares about helping people succeed with their plants, not just making a sale.
Rosie’s Garden Center already has an amazing selection, but having someone as knowledgeable and friendly as Evie makes the experience truly outstanding. She’s simply the best, and thanks to her, we’re more confident (and more excited!) plant parents. 🌿
If you’re shopping for plants or pots, definitely go to Rosie’s and ask for Evie. You won’t regret it! -
The staff here is beyond courteous. Sharen my helper was so pleasant in every way, shape, form. She helped me with every single question I had and I ended up purchasing 4 trees. I will be back for my future projects.

Very helpful staff!

Lots of plants sold outside, plus more nearby inside. There are also various landscaping and gardening tools and equipment for sale indoors.
-
plants here are normally poorly taken care of & not the best selection. it’s more of a if you’re good with plants & can save one grab it kind of area. normally no staff or short staffed in this area which makes sense as to why the plants are in such bad shape.

Most times the experience is ok,but you have to go early between 8-9am. However, there are a few employees who are monitoring the self checkouts, that believe themselves to be 'the boss',try to tell you which open machine to use.,when there's CLEARLY 3 available. Look,if that's the ONLY job you're qualified for, then WALMART has chosen poorly. I'd give 1/2 star if I could.

We have used Bartlett Tree Service for many years. They are top of the line tree arborists.
You never have to worry about whatever tree service you have when you hire them. They are true professionals who are always friendly and do an awesome job with cleaning up the site.
I will always and only use Bartlett for my tree service in the future! -
They were really easy to work with. Listened to my priorities and long term goals of ensuring that 5 huge beautiful Evergreen trees stay that way. Also I have large boxwoods that serve as hedge along home that they will be able to treat so I can ensure healthy life. Dan also walked and looked at other smaller trees and gave me some tips and thoughts of how they were doing. They were detailed in quote in work to perform and the crew was amazing! On time and went through the plan for day which included some tall tree climbing. They cleaned up everything and then some of branches that were on ground from our latest windy days! Easy to pay online. Actually just scheduled them to clean up and remove some overgrown and dead trees from our old home that our daughter and son in law bought from us. You won’t go wrong calling them. No pressure conversation just ask questions and make your own decisions. Pics of evergreens and trees they climbed and ensured nothing went near pool!

We were very impressed with, and appreciative of, the entire process in working with Bartlett for our tree removal project. The entire working crew were polite, respectful, took their time, worked carefully, and kept damages to a minimum compared to what I expected with heavy equipment being required. We will be repeat customers should we have further need. Many thanks to the entire team!

I've had Bartlett handle multiple tree issues over the years. One tree trim and relieving bound roots on the builder tree, but mostly various disease/infestations. Now it's regular fertilizing the poor soil around the trees. All have been handled expertly and my trees look great.

Our community recently hired Bartlett Tree Experts for tree maintenance and a removal, and we are very impressed with their work. They were professional, efficient, and did a great job cleaning up the debris afterward. It’s a relief to have the property looking safe and well-maintained. Highly recommended for any large-scale residential needs!

Bartlett is excellent. Proposals and advice are free. They do the work and then they bill you upon completion instead of charging 30% or 50% or whatever before they do any work at all. This is how the world used to be. So, if they do work for you, please be an adult and pay them on time. Otherwise, you may spoil their good service for all of us.
