Very friendly staff. The fish and plants all look great. If I had the money, I would definitely have them set up a pond for me!

I have called and left msg to ask them about their services. I have went to their location to talk them about doing a pond and filled out the online form and no one has yet to contact me. If are not taking ew clients you should tell us that so we don’t waste our time. Don’t bother calling or leaving a msg bc you will never hear back from them.

Super friendly and knowledgeable. They also hold classes on pond care. You can go asks view several large pond options and feed the koi. Great place!

DO NOT HIRE!! NIGHTMARE!! $53,000 new pond installation. Pond was to be 5000 sf with working bog filtration and waterfall. "finished pond" is 3480sf, water flows over only 1/3 of the waterfall because it's not properly leveled and foamed. The bog is SEVERELY undersized and none of the circulation plumbing (for bog filtration) or cleanout vaults have been installed. Steve insisted bog piping and clean out vaults were installed, so I had to dig out the gravel to prove they were not there. I also discovered why the bog does not hold water... the bog liner has a large tear in it. Steve insisted everything was installed correctly and completely, even after I told him the bog did not hold water. Because the gravel in the bog is only inches deep (it's supposed to be 12-18 inches), it did not take me long to verify that no plumbing was present and the bog liner was incomplete. In addition, the overflow spillway was never installed, finish grading was not done, there are piles of dirt and leftover, broken rocks all over my yard, and extensive yard and driveway damage from heavy equipment. Cool Ponds has failed to complete the project. Many months after it was started, the project is undersized and remains unfinished. All attempts to compromise with Steve have failed. Since mediation with the BBB and attorney general's office is voluntary, Steve was free to lie to them about work completed on my pond without fear of any consequences. I had another local pond installation company review my project and they could not believe they were looking at Cool Ponds' work. Their formal estimate to "correct" my pond is over $30,000. Specifically, what I mean by "correct" my pond, is to make it like it was supposed to be in my contract with Cool Ponds. In fact, the first thing I did was provide the pond installer a copy of my Cool Ponds contract. This estimate does not even address the fact that the pond is 1500 sf smaller than the contracted size. We are now going to court. The whole story and photos of the poor workmanship can be seen on Angies List... don't trust your project to this company!

If your thinking about building a pond this place is awesome. Lots of inspiration on design can be taken from looking over their many established ponds. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Cool Ponds is a great place to shop! They have great customer service and did a wonderful job cleaning our koi pond this spring. They know their stuff. 10/10 will use again.

They put a pond in for us.....wow! Did not imagine how great it looks! The people there are so friendly, super knowledgeable, great to work with from the time they come out to measure and quote, to even now when I go back in to purchase. Best pond place around.

Customer service at Cool Ponds gets a big FAT ZERO. I called today and asked them to hold two water lillies for 24 hours. I was told that they would not because they might sell them. I told them that they just did. Way to go above and beyond for your customers Cool Ponds 😠 I guess they don't realize they are not the only pond store in Indy, but they really should!!!!

I purchased some faux boulders for my back yard. Super satisfied with their item descriptions; they were spot on! Quick shipment was a plus, as well.
I highly recommend them.

Whoever gave this place 1 star, has zero idea what hey are talking about! They must not have any satisfaction in life!

I will warn you.... don’t go to their shop... once you see what they can do- you want what they have!

We did a full redo our our landscaping and they did an amazing job! Steven did a fantastic job taking what we wanted to paper and Steve did an amazing job taking what was on paper to reality!

We couldn’t be happier with our outdoor oasis!

We are a diy family. Unfortunately we started at a box store buying all of our pond supplies. We fought and fought our pond until we found Cool Ponds. They are so knowledgeable and helpful that even a novice like myself can build and maintain a beautiful pond. I don't know if I would still have a pond with out them. I am now on my third overhaul and I buy all of my equipment and plants through them.

Cool ponds did a rehab on my old pond. It was leaking and shallow. They made it deeper, put a new falls box system in and a new skimmer box. They added aeration, big boulders and finished with mulch. It looks great and my fish love it!

Along with the other people who rated 1 star for this business, we had similar bad customer service. They are very delayed in their response time. We finally got an appointment scheduled after reaching out to them again. Of course, today, they have to reschedule. "Something came up". I do understand, but after delay after delay; feels like they don't want the business. I am all about small businesses, so this is very disappointing to me. I would not be comfortable with this place installing a pond. Might take forever to get it done.

Your statements are not accurate, which I'm quite sure you know. You did not immediately reach out to us, you did not leave several messages. We have all your text messages to prove it. I will be more than happy to post it here if you would like. You stated your son would reach out to us, which he never did. We had to contact you back, which appointment was finally scheduled. Something came up now equates to being sick? When you said he postponed and would make any day happen, and we did not respond? We most certainly did. Again, I can post everything here if you would like. Let's just be honest. I am disappointed we could not make this happen as well. After reading some of the other reviews, response time seems to be the common denominator. So instead of telling everyone you responded and the customer did not respond, how about you take a look at your internal operations and figure out timely responses instead of promoting false statement. I am more than happy to take this post down in sake of promoting small businesses, which I fully support. But if you continue to say incorrect statements, this post will remain. Good day to you.

When I moved into my new home south of Indianapolis I inherited a pond. While the fish and plants were still alive, the rest of the pond was in poor condition. I found Cool Ponds through a Google search and they have been great!
I have been to the store or called on several occasions and every time they have freely offered advice for whatever problem or issue I have had. My pond went from unattractive, with water so green that you could only see the fish if they were in the first couple of inches of water, to the centerpiece of my backyard.
I have also driven to the store to attend their seminars which have been helpful and fun. Without the assistance of Cool Ponds I would probably have disassembled and filled in the pond that came with the home. Now I enjoy it daily. Thank you Steve, Staci and staff!

The Cool Ponds team is responsive, friendly, helpful, and do great work. I bought a property with a couple of ponds they previously installed and they have been excellent to work with to ensure the ponds are cared for and the fish healthy.

Liz Conway and I recently had our pondless water feature rebuilt by Steve Jr, his Dad Steve Sr. and Aaron and Sonya. Outstanding experience from start to finish from the initial assessment that took place prior to the build and then the follow through during the course of the build to ensure our vision for the feature was met. Excellent input of ideas from all parties involved in the deconstruction of our old feature to the creation of the new. Could not have been happier and would highly recommend this team.
