We used BPI a few years ago for a paver patio and landscaping at our current house. We loved what they designed and helped envision for the space. We were impressed enough that we actually brought them in on our new home build that is currently underway to help with design from the get go! We engaged them to do a full master plan for our property and come up with phases that we will do over time as money allows. We are so excited to see it come to life on our property!

BPI completed a major backyard project for us a few years ago, and not only did excellent work then, but has been very responsive as minor follow up has been requested over the years. Not only is their work high quality, but they stand behind everything they do. I recommend them to anyone in need of a landscape/outdoor space project - big or small.

Let me just start off by saying my husband loved BPI…and he’s never really liked contractors in the past because of poor communication. We received communication daily of what was going to be done on our patio. If there was inclement weather, we would be notified ahead of time that there would be no work completed on that day.
Brant did an amazing design of exactly what we wanted and helped us stay in budget. Larry was on sight a lot and always reviewed the completed work.
I can’t wait to watch Colts Football games on our screen patio with the fireplace on!!

BPI were fantastic throughout the entire process of renovating our backyard. From design, with Brandt, right the way through to project management and completion, with Larry, we always felt like we were well-taken care of and listened to. Highly recommended!

BPI helped us transform our backyard from a disjointed space with a separate deck and fireplace to a seamless outdoor living area. Brant took our ideas and translated them into a beautiful design that we enjoy every single day. Larry worked diligently to project manage and make sure we were updated on questions, the timeline, etc. We are so happy with our resulting space that includes a covered area, dining area and firepit that all seamlessly work together to make entertaining a joy. We would enthusiastically recommend BPI to anyone.

The BPI Team was outstanding to work with in designing and creating our backyard living space. We demolished an old wood deck on our home, and the design team created a stamped concrete, multi-level patio for us that we absolutely love. A built-in fire pit has been wonderful for spring and fall months especially, and our family entertains outside regularly now. We couldn’t be happier!

BPI was such a wonderful company to work with for our backyard/patio project! We did hardscape (Unilock pavers), fire bowl, outdoor kitchen (Ipe, which is GORGEOUS), lighting, electrical, and landscaping and they nailed every step. From the first time we met, they were so friendly and professional and just paid attention to details. They found (and fixed!) any problems before we even noticed which was so refreshing coming out of a terrible new build process with Drees Homes. We worked primarily with Brant for the design, and he did such a great job! Larry, Shawn, and the entire construction team were so fun to work with and kept everything on schedule and with the highest quality. Ironically, BPI wasn't even in our list of companies to reach out to but they kept coming up in our search so we decided to meet with them. They blew the competition out of the water in all areas. Even the "budget" company we reached out to was not much less than our BPI design and did not even come close to Brant's design or the quality materials that BPI uses. I would recommend them to anyone and look forward to hopefully using them again for another project down the line!

We were impressed from the beginning. The 3D rendering allowed us the visualize the final product before making decisions. We had a paver wall, aggregate patio, composite stairs and plantings installed. BPI completely rebuilt the stairs because they didn't care for the initial work. In all my years working with contractors I have never worked with a partner who stands behind their work the way BPI stands behind theirs. Crews were on time and cleaned up every day. We highly recommend BPI.

BPI was fantastic to work with. They really listened to our ideas and put together exactly the backyard layout we had envisioned including a beautiful stamped concrete patio and a free standing roof structure. From the start, Brant was engaging and helpful in bringing our vision to life and the computer 3D renderings were extremely helpful in visualizing how the project would turn out.

Once construction began, the team was organized, professional and easy to work with. Seth did an good job of keeping us informed as the work progressed. They even helped us finish some site preparation work we originally said we would handle ourselves.

Ultimately, the project was completed on-time and within budget. I would definitely recommend BPI to anyone looking to reimagine their outdoor spaces.

We recently had a pool installed and BPI did the landscaping . BPI did a phenomenal job. Brant created a beautiful plan that exceeded my expectations. Larry was so kind and communicated clearly throughout the install. The landscape team took their time and payed close attention to detail. They didn’t just throw the plants in the ground. They were also so sweet to me and my kids. We had some electrical problems after the landscape was finished and BPI came back to fix our yard without us asking or charging us. Highly recommended.

BPI designed and built our patio to include a roofed structure, paver flooring, outdoor kitchen and bar, and landscaping. We could not be more pleased. They helped us refine our initial idea into something that is just beautiful and a pleasure to spend time in. The company is top notch, from the design team to their showroom, project management and their exceptional crew members. Everyone is very professional. BPI did the landscaping around our pool several years ago. Once we saw the quality of their work, we had them install a paver patio beside our front door.

BPI did a wonderful job on our two phase backyard renovation. Brant listened to all of our requests and helped us create a play set base on our sloped yard and then a second phase of a patio and extensive landscaping as well as stone steps down the side of the house. The entire process was smooth and easy. Sean was a great project manager- very responsive and helpful. The entire crew was very respectful, hard working, and talented. Overall, I would highly recommend BPI for any outdoor project need.

I contacted BPI to get a quote for a deck project and was transparent from the very first phone call that we already had one quote and wanted to compare design approaches, materials, and overall quality...not simply choose the cheapest option. This was acknowledged and accepted by their team.

Stefan came out to review the project, discussed the scope, requested design documents, and explained there would be a design fee to prepare a proposal, which I agreed to. The following day, I received an email declining to provide a quote, citing concerns about being “price competitive.”

The issue wasn’t that they declined, it was how it was handled. If this wasn’t a good fit, that should have been communicated during the site visit, not after time was invested on both sides. The reasoning provided also did not align with how clearly and transparently expectations were communicated from the beginning.

If you value direct communication and respect for your time, this experience was disappointing.

We highly recommend BPI for outdoor space design and construction. We recently completed a very large job with them that involved multiple outdoor “zones”: a large deck, a grill platform, a fire pit, a covered space detached from our home, and a hot tub.

JD did a masterful job with the initial project conception based only on our clumsy vision. The design phase was fun with 3D renderings and sample selection. On our first visit to BPI, they even had a sign out to welcome us and reserve a special parking space!

Construction went from October to February. It was amazing to watch BPI navigate cold temperatures and still figure out how to progress the job.
Any job of this magnitude will have issues. BPI solved every issue beyond our satisfaction. Dean, Sean, and Chris were awesome to work with.

We absolutely love our new space. We’ve entertained several families for dinner parties and received loads of compliments on the outdoor space. We watched the Pacers playoff run under our covered space which made great family memories.

This new outdoor space is a complete game-changer for our home. We could not be more proud of what BPI has produced for us. We give them our absolute highest recommendation!!

We had a large project done by BPI Outdoor Living that included hardscaping with pavers around our pool, landscaping, and lighting. The finished result is fantastic—our outdoor space has a beautiful, elevated look compared to most other residential pools. Everyone on the team was great to work with, professional, and detail-oriented. When the wrong lights were installed (something we didn’t even notice), they brought it to our attention and replaced them. They also made sure even the smallest defects were addressed. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend BPI Outdoor Living!
