HVAC reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

Gave us a time frame of 3:00-5:00. Called at 4:30 to see if they were still going to make it out. Got told the tech was held up at another job and would be out around 5:30-6:00. It’s now 6:47, no phone call and no one has shown up.

Was looking for a specific motor. They did not have the motor in stock but an equivalent that worked better for the air handler I was installing it in. I will be back to get more parts! I kind of want to spend an hour looking around to see what they have in inventory so I know where something may be instead of calling around from place to place.

Great prices, knowledgeable staff, and they will sell to the public. I drove down here on a Saturday from Lafayette to save myself over $700 on a simple repair to my furnace. We will now be ordering all our parts here.

I was please to meet an elderly man, my guess is, he is the owner of this business, he is Very knowledgeable and compationate. He defienitly knows about HVAC. I need parts and he guided me and charged fair price.

I came in to Indianapolis supply looking for a few different items , the customer service I received was excellent. Very friendly and was able to answer any questions I had . They also had every item I came in for. I will be coming back !

On February 1 I called Indianapolis supply about a collector box gasket from my carrier pain furnace. I told the clerk to answer the phone. I have a part number I think will work but you need to check it for me first. He asked me for my model number of my furnace. he called when it was in and I went to pick it up. It looked too big but I took it anyway because I had to pay for it when I got home. Against the furnace and there’s no way I could use that. It was in the packaging that I received it in . I called and spoke to the person. I originally did explain the situation he said, under no circumstance will we take returns . He said you gave me the part number and I said I did as well as the model number and asked you to look it up to make sure. He said no circumstances they take returns. I explained to him that I’m on a fixed income income because I’m retired, trying to do this myself to say. He said well I’m still not gonna take it back. Greatly disappointed in this company. . That’s why I gave them just one star. If I could’ve not put any, I would’ve submitted a review with no stars.

They had what I needed and were insightful and OPEN ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON!!! Nick was a great help.

I recently contacted Indianapolis supply to place an order for my office. Nick was spectacular to work with, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. We will absolutely be back to order from them.

Called to find out if they had a capacitor in stock and the gentleman stated they did. However, when I asked about the price he stated he would need to take it up the register to find out. I politely asked if he could check the price for me and that I was willing to be placed on hold but he quickly told me NO as he was to busy to go to register to check the price on the part. The worst customer service I ever experienced. I rather go to Shorty’s as he was more than willing to provide me all the info + price even if did not have it in stock but could order it.

Great customer service. Great experience. Had part waiting at the counter. Nick was very helpful. Saturday hrs when everyone else is closed.

I love going to local shops like Mom and Popp. They’re friendly and helpful. Unlike unlike the big chain stores, I always shop here.

The kind of person you want helping you when you’re in a mini crisis with a non-functioning furnace and a zero degree over night forecast. Hit or Miss! Definitely has a lot of supply, doesn’t mean they have what you need. You can buy a part that might possibly work, but just in the case it doesn’t. There are no returns, For Anything. So good luck! If you are in need of a part, I would recommend ordering the exact part that you need online. Don’t just buy a part from here because it’s close to what you need. There’s a big possibility it won’t work. But it’s yours now.

This place was amazing. They helped me out when I was in a pinch. The customer service offered by Nick was exceptional and didn’t make me feel rushed even though I came in last minute and had the wrong part number. Nick helped my find the right part I needed and went above and beyond. I will be sure to tell anyone I know about this place. Thanks again Nick.
