We had Max and his guys seed and blanket about 4 acres of yard for us.
They were the best price and when they showed up to do the work it became apparent how they could be the best price.
It's because they really have their act together.
They had the equipment and the manpower and it seemed like everybody knew exactly what they needed to do to get the job done right. The results were beautiful.
The price was right And I would highly recommend Max and his team.

I cannot recommend Cutting Edge Landscaping enough. They did beautiful work!

We built a house with Havyn Homes in the Brooks at Vale Park in Valpo and they recommended Cutting Edge with the caveat that they came at a more premium price point. They did our neighbors landscaping, which looks amazing, so we considered them. While they were pricier than some landscapers we looked at, when comparing them to the Valpo-area landscapers we considered, they actually came in very competitive.

Max (the owner) was awesome to work with. He was upfront with pricing while also being flexible with what we wanted to do. We ended up doing sod, irrigation, front landscaping, and lighting on the house and back trees. Jake and the team of guys who installed everything did great work. They were timely, talked us through everything they did, asked for our opinion on things, and made our house look beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments from people in the neighborhood.

I think the best thing about Cutting Edge has been their customer service. They have been communicative, responsive, and bent over backwards to ensure we ended up with a landscape we loved.

We plan on using Cutting Edge next year when we do landscaping in our backyard and put in a patio. We highly recommend Cutting Edge for anyone looking for a landscaper in the NWI area.

Hello, I'd like to provide my reasons to why I gave a 5 star review to Cutting Edge Lawn and Landscape. First, let me say, that we are so happy and content with the outcome of their work. Mr. Groen arrived to my home to discuss at length plans for the backyard/patio. He didn't rush me, but meticulously listened to my dreams for the backyard. He drew up plans and we made some changes, and decided on a start date.
His crew were on time every day and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I cannot say enough of Mr. Groen's crew. They are the best at what they do. They are precise at measuring and laying all the tiles, grass, etc. My husband and I can tell they take pride in their work and end product. There is definitely "teamwork" all around with this company. We would highly recommend Cutting Edge Lawn and Landscape.

Great company for landscape services! Reasonably priced with quality work! Max had a precise plan and Jake with his crew were polite and got it done. They did an amazing job on our water drainage issue for our large backyard. Job was complete quick and they left everything neat and clean. I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping needs!

Cutting Edge has completed a multitude of projects for both myself and for my contracting company Eenigenburg Builders, Inc., and we have been very pleased with the results.

We had three trees removed in the back yard. Pine needles were destroying the pool and filter. Zach from Arbor Tech cut the trees down and ground out all of the roots and the stumps. Did not destroy the yard in the process. They did a great job. Highly recommend them!!

Cutting edge came in and removed all the stump grindings. Cut out a large section of the back yard. Leveled out and regraded that area and then installed all new sod. Max was awesome to deal with. Very prompt. They gave me a date and showed up and finished it as scheduled. Crew was hard working and very professional. Put plywood down to protect the yard. Even Fixed an unrelated broken sprinkler line. I absolutely recommend them and they will definitely be my go to in the future.

I would highly recommend Cutting Edge Landscaping! Max was quick to come out and discuss different ideas, and followed that up with a plan and drawing. I greatly appreciated his recommendations for the specific conditions of my yard. Once finalizing the plan he was ready to deploy his team quickly. I was impressed how quickly and neatly they removed all the old and were in with the new. Finished product was impeccable. I cannot wait to see it flourish next season. Not to forget they reinstalled my lighting and upgraded some fixtures as well. They do it all, and well.

We couldn't have been happier with having MLS install our sod on our new construction house. The prep work that they did before installing the sod was amazing and in my opinion separates them from others we have seen. We had 0 weeds in our lawn after installation while our neighbors who went through different landscapers all had weeds. They were great to work with and I absolutely recommend.

Midwest Landscaping did a great job on the landscaping at our new house. We had a completely blank slate to work with and Shawn did a great job helping us come up with a plan that looks great and fit within our budget. Shawn came out to our house twice to go over the design which was so helpful being a busy family with small kids. The work was completed in four days from start to finish (paver walkway, trees, shrubs, mulch, sod and seed). The crews were courteous and kept things clean and neat while working. I would definitely recommend Midwest Landscaping and use them again.

I had 4 waterspouts from the gutters dropping water into the clay next to my foundation (digging deep holes). I have the metal spout extenders but moving them each time I mowed the lawn was arduous so I hired Shawn & crew to redirect the water underground to safe locations in the yard. They had the yard marked for gas/electric, sent a crew to do it in an afternoon and used quality materials that don't require any extra effort when mowing. I was impressed by their craftsmanship, the grass looks great (on top of the underground water pipes) and I couldn't be happier. Will use them for future landscaping projects!

Shawn was absolutely great to work with. From day one he listened to our needs, and went above and beyond to get us what we needed at the price point we were comfortable with. His crew was punctual, polite, and extremely hard working. They came in to our pile of dirt, and within days transformed it into a yard worthy of a magazine cover! From requesting a quote to job completion MLS was great to work with. We had a quote same day and trusted Shawn to do what he thought would be best based on his expertise. The foreman and crew on site were courteous and professional and we couldn't be happier with how the job came out. Will be having them do more work for us in the future!

MLS recently completed our landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. Shawn came out to give us a quote the day after I called him, he emailed me an estimate the same evening and throughout the entire process he was easy to reach via text message. Even after the project was completed, one of the plants didn’t match what we were expecting from the plans and he has offered to replace them. I would highly recommend them!! The team that did our landscaping were professional as well. The project turned out great and we’ve gotten so many complements on the work they did.

The owner Shawn was very patient and pleasant to work with. When I first contacted Shawn in Sept. 2019, I just had an idea of a dream backyard that I’ve always wanted. Shawn took my vision and brought it to life! Shawn had great referral partners to complete the other task needed to bring my dream alive. The Forman Dave was always on time and on top of everything with not only his people, but the sub contractors as well making sure the project stayed on time. Dave also had great ideas when I needed to change the design due to material shortages. Dave also insured I was very pleased with the work and if I saw anything that wasn’t quite how I liked it, he had the crew come back to correct it. This was a huge project that MLS made seem less. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.
