Reviews of local pros in St John, Indiana

Sean, Dave and the crew beyond exceeded my expectations. I was incredibly nervous with hiring someone for this project to finish around our semi in-ground pool. Our yard is challenging, and I often wondered if I could ever make it the paradise i envisioned. I found Sean and Midwest Landscaping via Google search, filled out his form, and he called me back within 24 hours. He was onsite to see the yard and had a 3D rendering within a day or so with the perfect design. The construction team was also fantastic. They did everything right from excavation, to running the proper drainage, everything was done as it should be without me asking. The crew cleaned up perfectly each day like they has not even been working here. They also repaired my yard, and the yard of my neighbors who were kind enough to allow us to go through their backyards to access my yard easily. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this company for your project needs.

Midwest Landscaping is the best! Shawn got to work right away and got our patio project done lightning fast! He was very thorough and walked us through every step of the process! We are very happy with their work and would recommend! Shawn will be doing another project for us soon! 5 out of 5!

Highly recommend Midwest Landscaping. Easy to work with. Accommodating with all our changes when we thought of something new. Quick and efficient workers. Overall great experience and will use again!

What a beautiful great end result with this professional company! 10/10!!! Best ice rink in the area!!! We love it. Thanks MLS!

I cannot say enough about this company! I love them! I have used MLS for multiple projects over the last few years and they have never disappointed me. Shawn and Dave are excellent to work with, from the start of the design right down to the final day. They are very willing to work through designs and the many changes I make along the way. I was in constant contact with them for my most recent pool and patio installation and let me tell you my anxiety level was high! Shawn and Dave were always available to me to talk through the layouts, the selections, and any concerns that were causing me panic. I never felt like I was just another customer to them. They gave the personal attention to ensure I was satisfied with every aspect of the project. When going into a project so large I was grateful to them for the many suggestions along the way. They are the experts and I valued their input. I had an idea of what I wanted and they produced an end product way beyond my expectations. I will only use MLS when it comes to my home and yard. Cannot end without mentioning their crew! The hardest working men I have ever met! They were here at 7am and worked all day/evening without ever leaving the job site. They didn't even mind all the times I went to look at the progress and just stared in awe of their work.

Shawn did an excellent job of bringing our landscaping dream to reality. He provided us 3D photos of what we would get installed, a home visit to walk thru our exterior design, a choice of different plant options, professional advice, great communication, and a list of how much and when to water our plants.

MLS’s crew was always on time, worked thru the heat, & cleaned up after they were done for the day. Dave did a great job leading his crew & when I had questions for Miguel he knew all the answers. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the entire job. Thanks Midwest Landscape!

Shawn and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. It was a +90° day and t g ey completed the job including demolition of existing landscaingin 1 day despite a couple of last minute adjustments made by us. I would highly recommend using the for any landscaping needs you might have. I know we will definitely be returning customers.

This company did an amazing job with our front yard landscape! Shawn was very professional and had great communication with us and made sure it was everything we wanted and within our budget!

We wanted a professionally done patio with lighting and paver borders with river rock around the house….boy did Midwest landscaping deliver. They are not gonna be the budget option but they will for sure be the best option. CAD design with the owner in a near by office. All the best unilock and lighting. Was unhappy with a color option we originally picked when laid down and Shawn quickly was able to change out stone midway through the project and made sure I was happy during the whole process. Was able to get it done within a month (right before the 4th). You’ll have a large professional crew knock it out in under a week. Ran a new gas line all the way to the meter for the 100,000 BTU fireplace. The pictures will speak for the rest! Breath taking!!!

Ecstatic! I didn’t know what I wanted but our backyard space was not working for us. Shawn’s vision not only blew us away but added covered square footage to our outside space with a TV wall.. Not only did they add pavers under my deck which was not being utilized but they also waterproofed the deck. Bring on Fall Football!

Shawn and Dave at Midwest were GREAT to work with during our landscape renovation. The crew showed up on time, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. They responded quickly to calls and texts. The end results were amazing.

We are very impressed with the overall experience, would definitely work with them again and highly recommend Midwest Landscaping.

We reached out to multiple companies before selecting Midwest for our project. Midwest completely blew it out of the park! My husband and I were super impressed with the in-office consultation. Shawn gave so many great ideas and literally drew it out right in front of us. We are already planning a phase II entertainment wall at some point! The team hustled to complete the patio within a week, truly a fantastic and professional crew.

We are finally able to enjoy our backyard with this new living space, and have gotten so many compliments! Definitely recommend anyone to give Midwest a call!

Including before and after pics of our backyard transformation

Midwest Landscaping exceeded our expectations!!! We are very meticulous and this place not only delivered quality workmanship, but the speed at which they worked was amazing. Clean-up was second to none — you cannot even tell the property was complete chaos just a week ago. Beyond happy with Shawn, Dave, and the entire crew!!!!

100% recommend Midwest Landscape for all landscape needs! We were looking for a complete remodel of our front and side yard, and Shawn created an incredible design. His crew was professional, kind, and very detail oriented. We could not be happier with the end result! Looking forward to the next project already!

We had an excellent experience with Midwest Landscaping from start to finish. They did an amazing job designing and installing the landscaping at our house. The design was thoughtful, professional, and perfectly suited to our space, and the installation was done with attention to detail. The team was knowledgeable, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our yard looks beautiful, and we’ve received so many compliments already. We highly recommend Midwest Landscaping to anyone looking for high-quality landscaping work.

My wife and I have been pleased with the service and work we had completed over the years from Midwest Landscape MLS. Shawn and his crews really do an excellent job from the beginning design stage, mid-construction stage to final finish phase. He makes sure to go over every detail and options that would fit are specific needs. His prices are reasonable and his work speaks for itself. We will definitely continue to use Midwest Landscape MLS for our future outdoor projects. I highly recommend Shawn and his Team at MLS.

Shawn and Dave are phenomenal. They helped us conceptualize our ultimate goal after coming in with just a rough idea, and were very flexibility as we underwent multiple iterations before arriving at a final design. The build process was smooth, and they completed the work in less than a week. We are thrilled with our new patio and garden, and we couldn’t have achieved such a high-quality result without the expertise of Midwest Landscape!

I had my power lines torn down by my neighbors tree and Rob had a guy come out almost immediately to set up my power lines and box. Great service.

Excellent customer service.

Only one out of 4 calls that even answered my call fast service and very good 👍

Robert is a wonderfully, kind man. He came through for me! Thank you
