Took forever to give me an estimate. Then after i got the estimate he never got back with me after i told him i wanted on the schedule.

I have used JC Toland on several commercial projects the last few years. Always responsive witha professional crew.

Wad kept in constant updates with crew time tables and any issues that may arise. Excellent customer service, fast completion time, AND quality work!

Zach was very attentive and did what he said he was going to do. Finished product was great workmanship. Highly recommend them.

I have known Jeremy Toland as a friend and colleague for 15 years, and I can personally attest to his diligence, attention to detail, and professionalism. I highly recommend the JC Toland crew.

I must of got the b crew, Definitely 1 was strung out and another was clearly inexperienced. Later found out another person I know got a shoddy paint job also. Didn't clean up mess or clean paint off my trim that must of leaked onto it.

Do not trust the positive reviews on here! The only good reviews are from the company’s own employees! The painters are strung out, unprofessional and ignorant. Any time I left and came back, I would find them sitting in their truck doing who knows what! I will never allow them to work at my business let alone my home! I went with Peterson Painting and was extremely pleased.

I used JC Tolland for roofing and gutters on my house. Any project has its ups and downs and unexpected additional costs; however, communication is key. I have not recieved the final bill, but the estimate was way off. I appreciate Zach's knowledge and initial communication. He was extremely professional and responsive. The roofing team, in the process, let me know that I had a choice to caulk or to add trim to edge the roof and the siding to ensure it wouldn't leak because flashing wouldn't work. They said caulking goes bad sooner than this trim, so I chose the trim. It was not communicated how much extra this would be. It is now costing me an extra $400 (after I talked them down from an additional $800) to have it painted - and the trim was caulked anyway. So, how was this a better option? A clear way to upsell without all the information. I would have appreciated knowing the trim was going to be an additional $800 when the issue initially arose. This was the initial cost quoted to me for painting this newly added trim after it was already up and completed. For this additional cost, it isn't very pretty. It looks like a patch. Caulking would have looked cleaner. I still don't know what the additional plywood has added to the final total, though they were up front that it is in addition to the estimate originally given. I am bracing myself for this. The actual roof - the shingles - looks nice. In addition to tiny weird trim, my poppies were trampled in the front yard after finally getting them to grow - they thought they were weeds and they could walk on them... they were green and leafy and there was a path right next to them. Just added salt to the wound.

Zach was very professional to work with and responsive. His crew did a great job painting our home and was respectful of our property. I would recommend them for your exterior painting needs.

Our experience overall was very good. The painters were respectful of our property, took care in their work but also aimed to get the job done efficiently.

It was a pleasure working with this company. From start to finish they were great. We have dealt with many contractors with our new home and they were, by far, the best. I just wish we would have had them do more painting then what we had done. They are responsive, prompt, and honest company. I will be having them do more for us in the future, the only painting company I will ever hire again

First off, Zach Huntley, the Project manager, explained everything, and presented us a fair detailed "Proposed Estimate", reflecting exactly what we had initially agreed upon in a timely manner.
The team of employees, who did the physical work: Dale Aldridge, Dimas Mora, Tyrell Grimes and Jorge were professional, highly skilled, diligent, respectful, and trustworthy. They worked well together. The foreman Dale Aldridge explained things exceptionally well. The team did an amazing job on our home! Our home was a challenging job, requiring much preparation, which they did skillfully. The team arrived early, and worked quietly. They did not play loud music, curse or smoke. They cleaned up after their work each day. They simply did a fantastic job on our home. The foreman, Dale, ensured us a very positive experience and a phenomenal outcome. We feel that our home is now quite beautiful and that our home's value has increased immensely. If we ever need any painting in the future we know who to call, JC Toland Painting!
"At the end of the day", for us it is a matter of trust and JC Toland has fully earned that!

They provided a detailed quote and plan, worked diligently, and were detail oriented. Very professional and quick. The quality of the work was impeccable and the painters were really knowledgeable. They took care of covering/protecting the furniture which makes it easy on the homeowners. The results exceeded our expectations and every person we interacted with throughout the process was very responsive and courteous.

We are extremely happy with the work JC Toland Painting did for us. We have owned our 103-year-old Craftsman home for 39 years and this was our fourth painting. We wanted a painting contractor that would demonstrate an understanding of the need for quality preparation when working on a historic home.

We couldn’t have been more delighted by project lead Dale, who obviously takes great personal pride in the work he does. He and his partner Zach were precise and meticulous in their work. The crew did an excellent job repainting our house. The previous owners of our house had cut a ton of corners on upkeep, so it needed a lot of scraping and caulking. The Toland crew went above and beyond prepping and painting the house, as well as staining the deck. 10/10
