Double Take Lawn Services did an incredible job on my lawn. I take a lot of pride in my yard and landscaping and Matt is a true professional that has an acute attention to detail. Matt met expectations I had for this grass cutting season on his first visit. Un-rushed and has the right tools to do the job. Look forward to working with him. Matt helped us out this past year with keeping up our new lawn when I was down with a knee injury. He is professional, super helpful, and gives a fair price for good work. Over the past few years, I've utilized the services of 4 different "lawn care" providers. Needless to say; either my expectations were either too high or the providers' idea of good service was way too low. In any case, I found my happy spot once Double Take took on the task. They have met and exceeded my expectations.

Additionally, I was not informed that their service included "mind reading." Because every time I have had any thought that it may be time for some grass-cutting, they show up that day.

Double Take has been cutting the lawn at my place for a month now and I always hear from them if there is a rain delay, etc. They mow carefully, place the tires in a new location every week, and trim and blow cleanly. Thanks for the conscientious, clean, and careful work.

This was my first time using doubletake. I asked them to clean out my landscaping and lay some new river rock in my backyard. I was at work all day and wasn't sure what to expect. But when I got home I couldn't be happier with the results everything was nice and clean and extremely professional. Doubletake has my business and I will definitely be using them again.

Matt and his crew at Double Take are awesome! They’ve been doing our lawn care for two years now and they do it all - fertilization, mulching, mowing, spring cleanup and fall cleanup. They also handled our snow removal in the winter, which was great! The results are always top notch, and the pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try. These guys are freaking rockstars!!! Got recommended to Hugo and his team from our general contractor. They have been working on a massive hardscaping project for us which includes two sets of limestone stairs, paver patio with knee walls on a highly sloped grade. They have been onsite the entire duration of the project - no starting and stopping which is common elsewhere these days.

You can do no better than hiring these guys for your next project! I would 1000% recommend for any all hardscape needs you may have.

Hugo and the DM Hardscape team did a nice job building a large retaining wall and installing a fence in our backyard. We were impressed at the long days they put in to get the job completed in just over two weeks with some rain days. I will be using them on another project and would highly recommend them for your outdoor needs as well.

I’m so glad I went with DM Hardscape. I always thought this job was impossible to do, but they got it done. The backyard is pretty much a downhill slope and they weren’t able to get machinery back there so all this work was completely manual! So much respect to the team that got this done! Project manager, Victor was very easy to work with. He always had suggestions and knew what my goal was. They completed the retaining wall in 4 days! After working with several other hardscape contractors, it was refreshing to work with DM Hardscape. From beginning to end, Hugo and his team listened to us and were easy to work with. They do things right and pleasing their customers is their top priority. They did a complete backyard renovation including installation of a stone patio and Pergolux Pergola. DM Hardscape installed permeable pavers and a rain garden to control stormwater runoff on our property. We chose DM Hardscape because of their competitive pricing and their knowledge on installation to meet the City of Des Moines requirements for stormwater rebates.

Really top notch and professional. We needed a retaining wall, trenching for downspouts and a surface drain, along with regrading and contouring the front yard to create a swale. They did a phenomenal job on all of it. They came out beforehand for a site visit and to talk everything over so that we were all on the same page for the estimate exactly what work was going to be done. Their work matched the estimate and the price very closely. DM Hardscape met or exceeded all of our expectations and we are very happy with the results!
