Bill Friend has been our landscaper for several years. He is always courteous, professional and responsivie. Whenever we call him with a request for assistance, he always helps us in a timely fashion. He has excellent ideas and he listens to what we want. We highly recommend Friend Landscaping.

Bill & the crew at Friend Landscaping do an awesome job clearing snow from our lot & sidewalks each year! Being an Online Auction Service we have critical times/days when we need to have our lot cleared for customer preview/pickup as well as consignor drop-off and Friend Landscaping has always been responsive to those needs ensuring all is cleared for our customers! Highly recommend!!

My basement got flooded couple of years ago due to heavy rains over july 4th weekend. It’s due to my home seller’s poor landscaping work. Bill worked on this project in April 2020, and fixed this grading issue around my window well. He also did a really nice landscaping work around it, installed drain tail, catch basins, grounded gutters, and adjusted grading to improve drainage, reseeded the area. Bill and his crew is very professional and they finished the project couple of days early. He kept us in the loop throughout the project, answered lot of questions and made this expensive project less stressful. I been wanting to see how his grading project is going to work during heavy rains. Finally yesterday evening we got some heavy rains in Ankeny and I could able see the project in action. My sump pump hardly ran during the rain. I didn’t see any rain water coming into my window well. Water was nicely flowed into the drain tail and towards street. I am happy and satisfied with Bill’s work.

Friend Landscaping hung our Christmas lights this year.... and they will from now on. They were here when they said they would be to install and take down. Bill is very honest and professional. He has also done numerous landscaping projects for us and we highly recommend him.

Bill is creative in his landscaping design including taking time to walk me through the design and offered suggestions on plants. His provides estimates promptly and when an unexpected drainage issue occurred he contacted me immediately with possible options. This allowed the work to continue on time. Started and finished as promised. My landscaping is beautiful - even my neighbors took notice complimenting me on the view and design!

Bill's company replaced a retaining wall at our home this summer. We appreciated his time to provide us with a quote and getting us on his schedule this year.
