Tdrain was backing up ona Friday morning. They had us all fixed up before the day was over! Paul came out and cut the roots right out of the drain, and we were flowing again. He was honest, and didn't try to use any special equipment, or overcharge us. We'll definitely call them again in the future!

DM Drain cleaned our drain of some roots until water started draining. Three weeks later, our drain was completely plugged again. I left messages to have them come back but they never called us back. We had to have another company come out since we couldn't get a hold of DM Drain. They were able to get a lot more roots cleaned out. Also, the drain cleaning machine DM Drain used had a piece on it that scratched our floor all up.

Working with Des Moines Drain was a great experience! Every step of the process, from the first phone call to the completed job, was done with kindness and professionalism. They cleared my basement drain quickly and for a very fair price.

If you're looking for a Mom and Pop plumbing service call Paul yaall. One call did it all. My 🚽 was flushing slowly and making a gurgling sound, Paul knew exactly what the issue was over the phone and 20 minutes later after snaking the vent on the roof problem solved. Very knowledgeable, polite and reasonable. They will be my first call in the future. Thanks Paul.

they came out to unclog pipes and a floor drain after a major sewage backup. they unclogged a pipe and cleaned up. had another sewage back up 2 days later. so they didn't fix the problem and we had a lot more damage as a result. then they ignored my message the next day which was a plea for help and i told them it was an emergency. NOTHING. so they failed here. guy was friendly but overall experience sucked. next company was very thorough and took care of the bigger problem. they're called Zippy.

Paul from Des Moines Drain and Sewer came to clean out our drain on a Friday evening after normal business hours. He was kind and courteous and did a fine job. All the rain we have had my basement had two inches of water and the wet vac wasn't making a dent. Called Des Moines Drain and Sewer early morning and said they would be there that afternoon. Went to Home Depot to buy a water bug best investment. The water bug got the water out of the basement and kept it from building back up. The man came on time was very nice and was able to unblock the basement drain within 20 minutes. The cost was very reasonable (under $100) and he was very honest. I will recommend this place!

Today was the second time I have called these folks, (the first was on a Sunday a couple of years ago) and honestly couldn't be happier with the service. The gal at the office is super nice and both service guys that have come out were on time and got the job taken care of quick and in a very professional manner. Would and have suggested this company to anyone.

They didn't seem to want my business. I called to set up appointment and the woman said she was at the doctor and would have to call me back. She never called me back. I called 24 hours after my first call and set up appointment next day. Took the morning off from work for 9am appointment. At 8:40 they called and said I should probably find someone else.

Definitely recommend this business! They did what Monkey Plumbing couldn't do, they had visited our house back in August and our plumbing was still messing up. Paul showed me what was clogging the pipes and told me that I shouldn't have been having issues if it had been done correctly. Thank you guys for your services.

As we were installing a new washer, the hot water shut off valve busted and was leaking everywhere. I called about 5 places and DSM Drain & Sewer was the only one to answer my call AND offer to come out the same day! He said he could be out to our house within the hour. It ended up being closer to two and half hours, but he apologized multiple times as he was held up on another job. I honestly didn't care, because he still made it out on the same day and so nice and helpful. The charge was extremely reasonable! He didn't try to rip us off and even helped finish the washer installation. I would recommend them to anyone! If we ever have plumbing issues again, I would not hesitate to call again.

Easy and efficient experience- called Friday night for a kitchen sink drain problem and they came Saturday morning. Arrived within the time window and called when he was on his way. Nice guy and fixed us up quickly. Very reasonable rate, no extra charge no matter if it's a weekend.

We had the opportunity to use Des Moines Drain & Sewer a few weeks ago when our kitchen sink/dishwasher line and a bathroom sink continuously clogged. Another plumbing company had already been out twice - and they recommended we give Des Moines Drain & Sewer a call - citing they had better equipment and could camera down the lines (if needed). I'm extremely grateful that I called - our tech was amazing! Everything was fixed within an hour AND the work was guaranteed for 30 days! Something the other company was unwilling to do. Did I mention they were also more affordable?! I cannot say enough good things about this company - they will be my go-to for any drain/sewer related issues we may have in the future. Thank you!

Super pleased! Called this morning with a clogged toilet and small back up. He was able to schedule an appointment yet today, called when he was 15-20 minutes away, came in with a drop cloth and removed his shoes and went to work. Definitely recommend and will be calling when I need anything to do with plumbing.

We called for plumbing issues, and it was not fixed at all. We were charged $150/hr for five hours of work, just to have to call a different company (the new company fixed the plumbing issue in less than two hours). The repair man used our water and hose without cleaning up after himself, leaving everything out. We had to pull the manhole cover out for him. And the toilet he pulled up now doesn't sit right and wobbles around.

We had an emergency drain backup and they came out the same day and opened up the drain. Plumber did a great job and was very good at protecting the stairway and cleaned up very well before he left. J would highly recommend them.

Called Golden Rule who came right out and determined that they did not have the equipment necessary to reach the blocked pipe. They referred us to DSM Drain & Sewer who came out in about 2 hours. Very polite, professional, respectful of our home. They got to the problem in under 30 minutes and everything is working great now. Dustin was excellent and explained what caused the issue. Will use again for sure!

Due to a time sensitive matter and 3rd party request I reached out to this company initially to get a quote/estimate, which its website advertises it can do. I called first in the morning, explained the situation in detail and asked for a baseline quote so I could submit. The lady who answered phone seemed reluctant but eventually took my contact info and said she would email it to me.

24hrs later, I had not received it; so I called to follow up. This time a guy answered the phone. I had to reexplain the situation all over again, even though he had the notes in front of him. He then start talking about "needing to replace the sewer line and how he doesn't have time to do it", etc. I then responded that "I understand that; at this point I really just need the estimate to clean the line to submit. Are you not willing to do that?" He started to hem-haw.... So suggested that he change his website and ended the call as I am now 24hrs behind.

I honestly don't care that they didn't provide the quote; it's THEIR business! I care that they didn't just tell me that point blank yesterday morning. I would have moved on to the next vendor.

My "bottom line" is simple: if this is the service one gets when you are trying to do business with them and give them money, I can only imagine what the service would be like once you've written the check.
