Visit with Roger was very helpful! Lots of industry knowledge and experience that helped us make the decision to use 1-800 Hansons.

This is a scam company. Cancelled or never showed up to install window 8 times. Tried to charge a $1200 cancel fee. Made an agreement to pay for the window and I would do install myself. Couldn’t find my window/ wouldn’t deliver ( I Offered to pick it up myself). Measured wrong which is probably because the original was never made or lost. Many months of HELL.

We have been working with Roger through the sales part of our window journey. He has been very receptive to our needs and has answered all of our questions promptly. We are exited for the upcoming installation process.

1800 Hansons did a great job coming out to our house to give us options about sliding glass door and a front window! Working with Roger was a pure pleasure. We are very excited to get our new door and window.

Great salesman, Roger. He showed us the patio door product and its features of either 2 or 3 panes of glass, as well as got us a fair and acceptable price. With the cold Iowa winters and hot summers, we went with the 3 panes of glass.
Will, the installer, arrived on time and was very professional in his installing of the door and cleaning up after. Very polite and knowledgeable of the working of the door locks.

Bryan Grylls installed our new shower and we love it! Bryan kept us informed about his progress. He made sure we were satisfied with the placement of the seat and safety bar. He was friendly and prompt. When he finished everything was clean and tidy. The shower was just as we wanted.

The roof is on now, looks great. New gutters as well. One acception… they left the old downspouts behind. I had to pick them up. Ryan offered to and came over to make sure everything was cleaned up

Excellent Windows and excellent service. A small scratch was noticed after installation and it was immediately addressed with a new window replacement. I highly recommend this company. Totally satisfied. Workers did a great job cleaned up afterwards.

Roger came and presented several options. He listened very carefully to our concerns and tailored our project based on them. We were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. We are quite happy to have called Hanson's first.

August 13, 2025, Update:
New windows were in in late July. We were on vacation, so we scheduled for Aug 12. Installers showed up on time and were extremely professional! We were so glad to finally get the windows.
Everything was going great, 8 of 9 were installed. The last one was hoisted into place and it was 10 inches too narrow!!! Argh! They figured it out pretty quickly, it turns out when someone in the Hansons office entered the 2nd order of our windows, they miskeyed the large window in our main bedroom. It should have been 89", but they entered 79", for the width. Apparently there is no quality control check when entering orders. Thus, they still could not finish installing all of our windows yesterday. One more had to be reordered due to their issue again. Today, I am still waiting to hear the targeted date for the final window to be available to install.

This is certainly frustrating. Been waiting since March for our windows. This should be easier. That said, the windows we do have installed now are great! The rooms are cooler and the view is bigger because there is more glass in these windows than our previous ones. Hansons staff has been responsive as well.

I'm waiting for a regional manager to give me a call with the confirmed target delivery date. I plan to discuss our compensation for the pretty big inconvenience this has been causing as it takes so long.
-I've needed to keep a constant dialog going with them,
-our rooms have been disheveled since May awaiting the reordered windows. -We've had to arrange dog daycare twice now for install day,
-plus vacation time.

I did drop down to 4 stars this time.

June 11, 2025, Update:
Today was window install day!! Woohoo!
Unfortunately, there was an issue with how all of our windows were measured. Thankfully, our installers were great and figured this out right after they arrived! Turns out all of the windows were 2 inches to small on each dimension. 🫤. I worked with the installers and they got new, proper measurements. I also informed Ryan and asked for next steps and how we can be compensated for this big disappointment/delay. He's checking into it for us.

We are looking forward to next steps and getting our new windows!

March 2025:
My wife and I just worked with Ryan to order replacement windows for our 25 year old house. Ryan did not pressure us to do anything, but instead helped us determine exactly what we needed to meet our needs.

Roger was extremely informative. I love th3 product for our bow windows. He was very professional. I have to do my du3 diligence and get my 3-4 quotes

Ryan was a fantastic salesman from Hanson's. We interviewed two other companies for the job and ultimately went with Hanson's not only for their great shower designs and quality materials, but because Ryan was caring and compassionate towards my elderly parent's needs. He took the time to listen to what we needed in a tub to shower remodel, and was knowledgeable, as well as very professional/respectful. He did his job without being overly pushy or making us feel pressured into making the decision to go with Hanson's, which is ultimately what sealed the deal for us. I highly recommend Ryan and 1-800-Hanson's.
