Had $8,000+ in windows ordered, waited a couple months for install and was told on the day of install that they didn’t have the correct parts. They didn’t know they were Pella windows. (I didn’t change windows from when they came to measure and inspect.) Was told they would come back in 6 days to install. On that day was told they’d be here from 11-1pm. At 2 o’clock called and got voicemail 3 times. Finally got a new time of 3:30pm. At 4 o’clock I called my sales rep and he had the customer service person call me. She was very matter of fact and said she hadn’t heard from the installer. I asked about a discount and she shut that down saying I’d have to wait until after install. The next available install was a month away. Meanwhile, I discovered the installer disconnected my window hardware on my main windows the first time he was here and now they don’t work!!! I’m cancelling the order and would gladly pay more for adequate service from another company.

My roofing sales person Ryan was outstanding but now a mere 6 weeks later, shingles are flying off the roof. I filed a written and phone complaints and after a couple days, someone did contact me and sent someone out the next day (Friday) to tarp the roof and then sent people out on Monday to repair the damaged part. I have been assured that any future issue that comes up will be taken care of.

All steps of this project were timely and we were notified of each step. From the ordering of the door, shipping, arrival of the door, and scheduling installation. It was seamless. Also the installation was very seamless and took only about 1 and 1/2 hours to remove our sliding glass door and install the new one. Very pleased with the quality of the door annd the Efficiency of installation.

First above anything Kathy the receptionist was wonderful and very kind. The rest of the staff the “boss” was unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. Teresa totally disregarded our phone conversation. It was our fault and never theirs. We were rescheduled 5 times before they finally came and put them in. I called to talk to the general manager and I am still waiting for that phone call. Customer service was their biggest dissatisfaction. If it wasn’t for Kathy we would have canceled. They couldn’t even be honest with us. Worst company that we ever had to deal with. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

We had 6 windows installed by Hanson's. We have had nothing but problems with them (Hanson's and the windows).
First, we're told our order was ready and attempted to schedule with them. Spent hours and hours on the phone on hold, several times, and didn't get scheduled until I reached out the agent who had sold us the windows. We scheduled once and then they called us to request to reschedule we obliged.
On installation day, one of the windows did not fit. They had measured it wrong and needed to reorder it. Simple human mistake but frustrating nonetheless because we had to rearrange our entire house for the installation.
Day after installation, I noticed several items, like empty containers were left outside our house. We also noticed a huge section of our grass had died.
While waiting for the last window, we noticed several pieces on our windows were broken. The window safety locks on windows were not able to be disabled.
A month passed.
When they alerted us that the correctly measured window was in, we again had frustrations scheduling.
When they came to put in the window, we showed the safety locks and other not working pieces to the window installer. He reported that they'd have to order the parts as they were broken. This was September.
At this point, I contacted our agent several times to express our concerns and frustrations with the process, scheduling, and broken or missing items.I received no response. I sent another email a week later. In this email, I repeated our frustrations and I sent pictures of the yard and the left behind items.
Our agent finally responded, saying that he was passing our concerns along to the regional manager and that the regional manger would be handling our concerns.
I replied and then never heard from a regional manager.
Hanson's contacted us in November about getting the broken latches and locks replaced. This time, scheduling was easy. When they came out, the installer reported that one of the latches that they had received was broken and they would have to order a new one. He also reported that all the windows needed leveling or something like that. Basically said that they weren't put in fully right, but also that sometimes windows just need that.
So we waited. Frustrations continued. I called customer service several times to express my frustrations. Nothing was ever addressed or apologized for.
We did not get contacted again until April.
At this time, we scheduled right away but then they called us and forced us to reschedule like 3 times. Finally they came in May and did it, but also reported that they had to caulk one of the windows as that wasn't done correctly.
So to my understanding, since August 2024 until May 2025, one of our windows was incorrectly put in and another one of our windows was unable to be opened properly because of the child safety lock.
We paid almost $15,000 for 6 windows and have received the worst service and faulty installation of decent products as the windows do block out light and heat well.
I have attempted to contact the company so many times to get any sort of remedy or apology or anything from Hanson's, and we have received nothing. No contact from the regional manager, no further contact from our agent. Nothing.
I have tried to be as calm and polite during this whole experience as I understand that mistakes happen, but all of these issues along with no response from the company or even an apology, is not okay. -
We just met with our salesperson Roger and he had a very good presentation on replacement windows. He is extremely knowledgeable about the windows and represented his company so well. He is a very nice person. I thought the price was really good. We made our purchase with him the same day. I am very pleased with my experience with Roger!

READ ALL THE WAY
Ryan is very informative and knowledgeable rep to have in guidance with my home roof, or any of my improvement projects. Finally felt like I was trying to be conned out of a signature so someone could meet his numbers. Also, he left leaving me with knowledge and great experience. Will definitely be glad to use him for my upcoming projects. Update- Hansons crew came out and completed the job. We paid around $30k after all was done. Very close to target price. The problem is, the quality of work performed and the extra stuff they put on that we were not warned about like “edge venting”. Very ugly stuff. Looks so cheap and tacky compared to the $30k roof job we just paid for. The crew also left nails exposed, failed to replace our roof saddle that we paid for, left multiple spots of flashing on the edge unsecured, didn’t do the transformation from our shingles to flat roof correctly, and to much more to list. Hansons responded to my complaints immediately. They sent 1 guy out a week later as I requested, and he was saying it would be a complete tear off to fix everything. That was around august 7th. It’s now September 17th and we are finally about to get another tech to come out and go over the new plan with us before they come and repair the new roof(not replace) because it was deemed that replacing it wasn’t necessary after all. I feel like I’m being scammed at this point. And the edge vents that we weren’t told about, if we have them removed, our warranty will be void. Even if we get a different type of soffit venting. I believe the reason why repairs have taken this long is because of the lack of communication between Hansons management and us. They just refuse to communicate after numerous attempts at txt msgs, emails, and voicemails. We finally had a clerk from their accounts payable reach out to us to figure out why our acct hasn’t been processed yet. This finally opened communications back up. So now we are where we are. I will update again when the roof is finally complete. At this point though I’ll post pics and highly recommend against anyone else going through this “NIGHTMARE”. -
We had an amazing installer named Keenan do our bathroom shower. He was very detailed and knew what needed to be done. He did an impeccable job, we couldn’t be happier! We had two windows replaced by Mad City. Joshuah and Aaron were polite, knowledgeable, and quick. Even though we have a very old house and it's not square anymore, the windows are plumb and able open or lock, unlike the old ones. When they left, the guys had cleaned up and we couldn't tell they'd been here. I highly recommend these two gentlemen! 5 stars for Josh & Aaron!
We also had a walk-in shower installed. Wyatt worked to repair some plumbing that had been cobbled together when the bathroom had been put in. He was quick and efficient. Very knowledgeable and personable as well. The shower is great! It was very hard for me to get in and out of the tub because of a handicap but not now, the assist bars are in the best locations and Wyatt made sure the bench seat was at the best height for me. He also cleaned up everything before leaving
5 stars for Wyatt! -
Excellent experience and service through every step on our purchase of replacement windows! Triple pained lifetime warranty! Our installers were professional, courteous and absolutely excellent craftsmen!

I had a walk-in bathtub installed. Everything was done very professionally. All the workers from the installer, plumber and electricians were personable and professional. After two knee replacements and not being able to get out of a regular bathtub was the reason I decided on the walk-in tub. Some people may not like the cost, but you can’t put a price on health. Plus it’s guaranteed if anything goes wrong, and the guarantee transfers to the next homeowner. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Mad City Windows are a great company. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The salesman, the one who measured for windows and the two young men that installed the windows. The young men that installed the windows were wonderful. They were very skilled professionals. The windows look wonderful and has made a big difference on our heating bill. I am looking at replacing more windows in my home in the near future. I will be contacting Mad City to do our next installment.

Joshua Rissman was very professional along with his son and son-in-law. When they got to our home they introduced themselves. They were all very professional and personable. If we had questions Joshua or his crew members were right there to explain in detail to us. They were very informational and informative. These guys and their attention to detail was fabulous. I would give them a 10 out of 10 for a rating. I would highly recommend this crew and Mad City when ordering Windows and installing them.

Tanner H did a very professional installation and it turned out beautiful. He was very polite and friendly through the process. Great followup on how to care for the finished shower assembly.
And Mad City did follow up on the process to insure that we were all satisfied with the results and we were. -
We had a great experience with Mad City. The salesman was late, with no call, but when he arrived he did a good job of making sure we were going to get the shower we wanted. The guy who came to measure was on time and efficient. He also reverified the features we were expecting in our new shower. Paul showed up as scheduled to do the installation. He hustled from the time he walked in the door til the time he left. He was respectful of our property and took the entire mess with him. And he installed a pretty cool shower! Everyone we dealt with at Mad City was courteous, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their product. We're very happy with our new shower. I'd recommend Mad City to anyone looking to update their bathroom.

Tanner H was incredible. Hard worker, installation was perfect, asked pertinent questions. Cleaned up left over debris from installation. We’re so happy with him and Mad City for the beautiful outcome of walk in shower and new window. Thanks, Jim n Janie Before n After pics!

Javier was great. He explained what they would be doing and what I could expect. The window came out so great and I’d definitely recommend Mad City to others.
-
Paul did our shower replacement and did a great job and was great to work with. One problem was they ordered the wrong shower door parts and have to reorder them and told me 2 to 6 weeks for parts to get here so we have no door and have to use a shower curtain. But again Paul did a great job and explained everything excellently. Thanks

We are thrilled with our new windows. Product is top-of-the-line. Especially like the Bay window we chose for the kitchen. Workmanship is superior quality and the 4 man crew who did the work were very friendly, and knowledgeable. Should we ever need window or bathroom work we know who to call. Hats off to Joshuah and his team .

My husband and I were very impressed with all aspects of our new kitchen cabinet door replacements. We both agree that we shoud have done this years ago. This will be a great selling point for our house. The installer was courteous and helpful with any questions we had. This installer does awesome work!
