Kindred Outdoor Solutions recently worked on our property. We were able to establish several rock beds that consisted of a beautiful Royal Muscatine river stone. Several perennials were planted. Pavers were set in place and very large stones for a walk out from our Lanai were put in place. In addition, I had grading done on a section of our lawn and they were able to trim up our current beds and laid more mulch. In addition, they planted a beautiful Horstman Blue Atlas Cedar Tree in our front yard. This is the second time I have utilized Kindred Outdoor Solutions for my landscaping projects and highly recommend them for anyone to use. They were able to do it in a timely manner as promised. Their customer service is amazing. I will be using them again for the next project I have.

Extremely responsive and professional! Jack and his crew mowed, bagged, aerated, seeded and applied seed starter fertilizer. Great attitude and cleaned up the property when they finished. Will definitely use JAK's Lawnworks again.

I can’t say enough great things about this company and the people. Jack and his crew had to battle 10 days of straight rainy weather but knowing I was on a tight timeline was still able to complete my work timely. They completely transformed my yard at a very reasonable price. I was amazed by the results. By not using JAK’s Lawnservice it is only doing a disservice to yourself. You won’t meet a better person with a better work ethic and vision.

We needed a drainage rock garden along the back of our property and also decided to install a paver patio near our porch. Both projects were completed with the utmost care and quality, and they look AMAZING! Jack even provided a virtual visual of the patio project showing his design thoughts for it. Being able to see the vision actually made us decide to add in a stone firepit and landscape bed with privacy trees because we loved the look of it so much! Attention to detail, meticulous, quality, customer service, and great communication are what you'll get when working with Kindred Outdoor Solutions. Couldn't recommend enough.

Jack did a great job for a reasonable price. He was VERY responsive and professional. This was my first time to use him but I will be using him for all my yard needs in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

We had the pleasure of hiring JAK's Lawnworks for purchase and installation/removal of Christmas lights for our home. Jack and his team of the Caleb's (Crayton and Wolf) were outstanding!! First of all Jack (owner) explained his system for ordering, type of lights, installation and storing Christmas lights through his company and answered the many questions we had for him. He provided our extremely competitive quote as promised and once we confirmed, he got us on his schedule. Jack, C. Crayton and C. Wolf arrived on-time, fully prepared and all 3 were extremely professional and personable. He explained what would take place and then they got to work!! What an AMAZING job!!! Once complete, we did a walk around and he explained the timer and the removal process after the holidays. If you are looking for Christmas lights and installation, I HIGHLY recommend JAK'S Lawnworks!!!! We will be call them in the spring for a landscape quote.

JAK’s did/does a wonderful job on our yard! We had a very overgrown patio and now it looks brand new! They come as scheduled to cut our yard and it always looks great! They trim around the edges and don’t leave a bunch of grass on our driveway. Would definitely recommend these guys if you’re looking for affordable, high quality lawn care! :)

Hired Kindred for some landscape work. Absolute professionals. Excellent work and very friendly to discuss project and work through details. Would not hesitate to re-hire.

From the first home consultation to the end of job walk, you could tell that Jack and his team knew the scope of work and were confident on how to execute. They communicated daily what was going to take place. When issues arose, they let us know and came ready with solutions. I also really appreciated the design they offered before the project took place.

If you don't know where to start with your home exterior project, give Kindred a call and they will guide you through it all. Will definitely work with them again.

I had a dog door and outlet installed and ran into several issues with the work. Before signing, I confirmed that the manufacturer instructions would be followed and that the included flashing would be used, but neither ended up happening.

The quote also included framing lumber and noted a structural header would be added if needed. During the install, a stud was cut to fit the door, but no header was added to redistribute the load, and no framing materials were used, with no adjustment to the cost.

After the work was completed, an outlet on the same wall that previously worked correctly was left with an open ground. They offered to come back and fix it, but at that point I wasn’t comfortable moving forward with them.

Communication around these issues was frustrating, as concerns were generally dismissed and there didn’t seem to be much willingness to acknowledge mistakes.

These are the kinds of issues you wouldn’t notice unless you were watching the work and knew what to look for. The work may be fine in the long run, but for a quote that was roughly twice as much as others I received, I expected closer adherence what was agreed upon and more attention to detail. They offered a small 5% discount for this issues.

Connor arranged for a workman (Dylan) to come out and install a stair railing by my porch. He arrived on time and did a great job.

Absolute brutal experience and a waste of time. Endless delays and excuses. Never began the project that we were engaged on for weeks and eventually had to go elsewhere for our needs.

We canceled our project due to ongoing communication and scheduling issues. A start date was confirmed before materials were ordered resulting the project to be significantly pushed back and then it was not re-scheduled in a clear manner. Communication was very poor, scheduling was disorganized, and our time was not respected at all. Due to the lack of professionalism, I would not recommend this business based on our experience.
