Very professional and experienced organization. We had selected three (3) companies to give us an estimate on our basement prior to putting our house on the market to sell. Two (2) of the companies gave us estimates for columns or fiberglass straps and excavating around the foundation walls. Eric looked at the basement walls and told us there is very minimal movement and extreme measures weren't necessary. His two (2) man crew came in and provided epoxy sealant in the wall cracks. It took less than half a day and they did an excellent job. Eric also recommended using KC Realty Group for the sale of our house. Using them and KC Property Guys all our construction needs were taken care of and incorporated into the sale of the house, with only a small deposit down for the basement work. Our house sold and the whole process went very smoothly. This was fantastic! We highly recommend them.

KC Pier installed some bracing and repaired some cracks in our foundation walls. From the quote, to scheduling, to the installation day, everything went smoothly. The quote was detailed and gave recommendations on what we could/should do and wasn't trying to sell us something we didn't need. There was also previous bracing installed before we owned the place and the team was able to give us advice on an old installation they did not do. Scheduling was easy and the team showed up right on time. The work they did is high quality and I would recommend KC Pier for any foundation work you may need.

KC Pier did a house for me that had major foundation issues in the back of the house. Hector did a great job of communicating the changes and then coordinating with me to make sure I was happy how it turned out. Much better final leveling than I was expecting honestly, would recommend them to anyone else needing foundation repair.

The Team at KC Pier was very easy to work with and accommodating to circumstances presented during the repair process. Everyone from start to finish was very professional and personable. I was very impressed how quickly and efficiently the work was accomplished while maintaining excellent quality. The weather was very cold and snow was on the ground but the crew working in my home was very careful to keep things protected and clean at all times. I am satisfied with every aspect of this repair.

He informed me how to monitor the situation in case anything does change. Super happy and will recommend KC Pier to anyone!

Very knowledgeable and competent foundation company. The house had an addition with a cinder block foundation, and the entire addition had settled significantly. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, and I was careful to educate myself as much as I could and got several quotes before selecting KC Pier. Brian analyzed the foundation issues and recommended a plan that made good sense and which matched the recommendations of another foundation company that is well respected around town, while beating the other company's price. Damien was the crew chief on site and was experienced, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The whole crew was friendly and good to work with. Brian came on site for the critical leveling stage of the work, and worked with me to make sure I understood and was on board with what they were doing. Very pleased with their work and would KC Pier for foundation repairs.

Beware of This Contractor - Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had a very negative experience with this contractor KC Pier. I paid $250 in advance for an assessment of foundation damage for a commercial property. The contractor did visit the property, but after that, I never received the promised assessment. When I requested a refund, they flatly refused. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using this contractor’s services. Save yourself the trouble and look for someone more reliable and trustworthy.

We had a great experience with KC Pier getting an egress window installed in our basement. They were knowledgeable and accommodating. Chris was very informative doing our consultation and on installation day Luis & his crew did stellar work. Highly recommend KC Pier!

KC Pier was great start to finish. I had 3 contractors do estimates on repairing my foundation problems. The largest, with the most advertising, only wanted to route the water once it got through my basement walls with internal gutters to keep it from soaking my carpet in the basement, not fix the actual problem and keep the water out in the first place. Erik did a thorough inspection, pointing out things none of the other companies even checked. He offered options and gave his honest opinion of each. He also provided links of YouTube videos of actual jobs they have done around the KC area. I felt like I could trust Erik’s opinion and went with his suggestion for the best, most complete solution. In the end, the work cost thousands less than the estimate from the “big” company and actually addressed the problem rather than putting a band-aid on it. The work took a little longer then they thought, but it was during some of the hottest days in July. The crew was great. The job was well done. Communication and follow up have been timely and complete. I paid a fair price for a great job. I have already recommended KC Pier to friends, family and a neighbor. We have had some significant storms since the work was completed. My basement has been dry. I can’t thank them enough for my peace of mind.

Damien and crew went above and beyond to take care of an issue with our sump pump and add sistering to the foundation bracing system.

We recently used KC Pier to help address a small but persistent leak in our basement. Everyone encountered from KC Pier was professional and personable to include inside office support from Rachael. The solution suggested by consultant Chris was where a crack was located excavate down to the concrete wall footing to apply primer and waterproof membrane. This solution was implemented by a team lead by Damien and included Will and Omar. The team worked hard and was able to finish the work in one day. Note that site cleanup was very good as well. KC Pier is recommended for foundation leak issues.

We had a leak in the finished basement whenever it rained. Had 2 other companies come out and review the problem. KC Pier quoted the least evasive solution and the cost was reasonable. The quoting process was easy and Damien and crew were on time and completed the repair in a quick and clean process.
