The best builder in town anyone could ask for. Kudo to Michael Matthews who guide us from the get-go. The Welcome tour is excellent. The details presented is not only thorough but also very helpful in the next few months or years. Thank you to Jimmy and Brent who also presented to answer all the questions we had. Poor communication- I was told several things when we signed originally when ordering options that weren’t correct. We wanted every upgrade except the gas stove. Come to find out soft close cabinets were not an included upgrade - but would have been with a $2500 upgrade fee - which I would have GLADLY paid. Instead of standing behind what I was told, I now have to pay a contractor to put soft close cabinets in my “new build.” Even after the builder tore up the first set of cabinets during installation and had to order new cabinets - they would not put in soft close cabinets. It’s seems strange to piss off a customer who is spending $450,000 with you over $2500 soft close cabinets. In my business we would have stood behind what my employee told the customer and ate the $2500. I again would have been happy to pay it. Business integrity is not what it used to be, I guess. Otherwise, the people are very nice. I love the stone fireplace and granite countertops. I will get my frustration out slamming cabinets!
