John and his crew did a tremendous job getting our HVAC system up and running quickly. I very much appreciate the willingness, honesty and integrity demonstrated by John and his guidance regarding the best fit for our home. I highly recommend!

I was very impressed with John and his service. I called on a Sunday afternoon, and John came within the hour and had my heater fixed and working in no time. Especially happy that everything did not cost extra due to it being a weekend. John is an experienced, knowledgeable and competent HVAC technician. He was courteous and professional. I do highly recommend him and will not hesitate to contact him for future needs. Excellent experience.

Called John on a holiday and he was able to be at our house in under 30 minutes for an emergency air conditioning repair. He was able to quickly diagnose our issue, confirmed that we were comfortable with the very reasonable price, and resolved our issue. We were extremely pleased with John and his quality work and will definitely be using him again!

Just wanted to rave about the excellent service Home Comfort Heating and Cooling provided. We were having some issues with our ac and my sister in law recommended them, so we decided to give them a call. So glad that we did! The young gentleman (name: Adam) that came to our house was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us what the issue was. He gave us different options but we decided to go for a quick fix for now. We will definitely be calling them back for a new HVAC system.

Our A/C was acting up so I called Home Comfort and John came out the same day and got it up and running. I like to support local businesses when I can, and his prices were very reasonable. Some businesses seem to take advantage when they know you're in a rough spot (A/C not working in some) however John seems like a good honest person. I plan to use them again when I need anything HVAC related.

John Fields is FANTASTIC. He has installed a new AC unit for us and also an in-home humidifier. When there were record high temperatures over the summer, our old AC unit finally gave out. We had terrible luck with our home warranty company and the repair companies they tried to pair us with. We decided to look elsewhere and came across Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. John was extremely responsive, quick to come out to inspect the issues, quick to bring in and install the new AC unit, and his prices were very fair. The same goes for when he installed our humidifier today. He was honest, knowledgeable, calm, and caring. We plan on calling him up again whenever our old heater goes out. I wish other contractors were as great as him.

John with Home Comfort is amazing! I met John for the first time last summer when my AC went out during a heat wave of high 90 degree days. I called over a dozen HVAC companies over a few days trying to get someone out as soon as possible, but the best I got was a week or two out. I then called Home Comfort and John, even though it was late and he was done for the day, came out to my house that night and fixed my AC. He does good quality work at a great price and is very reliable. I actually just had him here this week fixing my furnace, and again it was a quick response, quality work, and great price! As long as I live here John and Home Comfort will be the only HVAC company I call.

I had the best experience with Home Comfort Heating and Cooling, and John was incredible! Our a/c went out when it was 103F so I was up at 430am googling different places. I was so impressed with the reviews here that I called the next morning and John was over that same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and reasonably priced. He talked to us about different options and I felt well informed before making the decision. He was able to replace our a/c unit that same day! Will definitely be calling again for any of our heating and cooling needs.

Amazing service by John and Shelle at Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. Our A/C went out with a boat load of out of town guests descending on us in the next 24 hours. John was over and fixed our A/C so quickly I couldn’t believe it. Small locally family owned business took the best care of us. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Hickman Home Comfort heating and cooling enough. They did an excellent job installing my new HVAC system! John was very thorough and professional and had my best interest when it came to picking out the systems for my house. 10/10 for sure!

When a heat wave suddenly hit in late September, I walked around drenched in sweat and realized my AC had gone kaput. John is a nearby neighborhood small business and I called him late at night. Not only did he answer, he showed up bright and early next day to check on things as promised. John explained what’s going on and gave me different options. Not wanting to keep bandaiding a unit on its last legs, I opted for a replacement and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

I found Home Comfort Heating and Cooling after an unfortunate experience with another company. I have called them twice now with today being my most recent. My air quit cooling so I called to have it checked. Within two hours of calling my issue was resolved and I was cooling down again. Although I know it cannot always be done that quickly, services for my two calls were taken care of promptly and professionally. I highly recommend John and Shelly for their fair, professional expertise.

John was able to come out same day AND got the new HVAC installed same day. He and Adam(crew) were hardworking and professional. I would recommend this family owned business to OUR family and friends.

I have worked with a couple other home HVAC companies in the area and always felt disappointed that all my needs were not addressed , or that the tech was not really interested in fixing my problem - they'd rather just sell new equipment or service plans. John at Home Comfort helped me understand the issues, options, and ultimately gave good recommendations for new HVAC in my house. The price was very fair for the features included and John personally did the install the next day after I accepted the bid. I was impressed by the clean install and attention to detail. John's a nice guy to deal with and I'm glad I found a trustworthy HVAC company in Kansas City. Hard to believe that the other bidders, one of whom was over 30% higher for similar equipment, would have done a better job. Thanks John !

I highly recommend John and his guys at Hickman Home Comfort. I Called at 4:45 on Friday evening because our AC Unit shutdown and within 30 minutes of the call John showed up and diagnosed the problem and we decided it was time to replace our entire HVAC system. John got our old system up and running to get us through the night then they showed up Saturday morning and less than 24 hours of the original call on Friday evening we had an entire new system installed and running! First class all the way around!

We got John's name from a friend and the company was prompt in their response. John was able to pinpoint the problem and help our old air conditioner make it through the season (and came out once free of charge to see how our fix was holding up), but it was obvious it wasn't going to last. I appreciated his patience with all my questions and his no pressure approach as he explained all the options going forward. He and his son installed an entirely new heating and air conditioner system in a day despite some surprise setbacks, and got me to work on time that afternoon. I felt very comfortable with John's knowledge and communication. I have always been spoiled since my uncle always took care of our HVAC needs, but he is over 80 now and would like to "retire"! I am glad I have a company I can call going forward.
