We recently had our heater and our AC replaced by Comfort Kings and they did an outstanding job! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. They worked hard to ensure our heater was installed before the cold front came in. We have had them come out and do maintenance in the past and we never felt like we were being pressured into buying anything unnecessary they have always been very honest about what needs to be done. Would highly recommended them for any of your heating or cooling needs.

The team at Comfort Kings is amazing! I am the Director of Home Preservation Services at Habitat KC. We have used Comfort Kings for so many projects I can’t even count. Had Comfort Kings come into my place and put in a whole new HVAC system and couldn’t be happier! They have come out and numerous times to help us out and even answered phones call late at night when the furnace was acting a bit funky when the big cold front hit. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure everything is running perfectly especially Zac and Drew. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Don't be fooled. This company's website says they're called the Comfort Kings because they're the kings of Comfort. It's actually because they will treat you like a king!

My furnance was old and rusty. They talked to me frankly about pricing a repair. I decided to replace the furnace. Arriving to quote it, they showed concern not only with my HVAC system, but adjacent systems (gas line, electrical set up, etc). They quoted a new furnace and a/c unit (mine was R-22 refrigerant)and labor to fix adjacent systems. They recommended a system that was right for my house (not just the biggest and best). That quote, compared to other HVAC companies, was the best one we got!

They scheduled work a week out and worked about 12 hours to get my system going. My wife and I had a baby the day before and they were very accomodating to us. They sent a very nice gift box for the baby!

I love our new system! They replaced our old thermostat as well which aligns better with our system. These kings go above and beyond for the customer. I will be going to them for my HVAC needs from now on.

Great customer service. I have been specifying products with them for over 5 years and have always had a great experience from engineering to technical support after the equipment is installed.

I was very pleased with the work that John did for me. Last winter my heater went bad. I had to make a decision to repair a 20 year old furnace, or replace it. John gave me all of the facts and the costs. He also indicated what would most likely break next and the cost. I made the decision to replace the entire system of both Heater and Air conditioner. John was very polite, professional, pleasant to work with, and cleaned up the entire work area. He did great work and I would highly recommend him in the future!

We are very happy with our new system. We’ve been in our home for over 25 years and and have never been as comfortable as we are now. During our recent cold snap the system kept us comfortable, something our previous systems weren’t able to do. I attribute this to John’s careful listening and assessment of our needs and the skillful translation of those needs into an effective solution. He understands how to design and install a system that works well in our variable Kansas City weather. Highly recommend!!!

I had been searching for a back up HVAC company for a while for my apartment community when our usual vendor was backed up. John and Shelle were absolutely AMAZING....at first. After our first repair I called them back for 2 other repairs that came up for other homes we manage. They showed up, took the keys to the apartments and then never checked in with us (we have offices on site that are open during regular business hours). We found the keys in our drop box and no repair ticket or recommendations. I have called, text and emailed the company to no avail for over a week. I am extremely disappointed because our business relationship had been amazing up until this point and I had been very impressed with their response time. I even had recommended them to repair my own mother's AC and was going to start using them as my primiary HVAC vendor.

Nothing but excellent, professional, and efficient service. John came out to our house about a month prior to our furnace going out to service it when it started acting up. We called him again when it started to show signs of not turning on and the temperature in our house was dropping. John came out right away (he was called in the morning and was out by the early afternoon--in freezing rain and drizzle) and worked with the furnace. Since John was previously out to our house, he even went as far as bringing a brand new furnace just in case ours needed to be replaced-- turns out it did. John did excellent work and kept us from having to go out and shop for a furnace and schedule installation! We HIGHLY recommend his services and plan to have him come out in the spring to check our AC unit!

John has serviced our HVAC system twice. He was able to come to our house the same day we called each time when other companies were weeks out.
We had to have our blower motor replaced in our system which is older. John had the part in his truck and replaced the unit in under an hour. Had it not been for John, we would have been sweating it out over at least a weekend during this 90+* heat wave. I would highly recommend calling John for any HVAC needs.

Our air conditioning went out on a hot summer Sunday when I was not well. We called John and he came out that afternoon to help us. Unfortunately, our old unit was permanently inoperable.

John gave us excellent advice and options, and arrived the next morning to install a new system. We were very blessed to have his expertise and assistance so quickly available!

John came out under short notice and repaired our air conditioner motor in the heat of summer, at a very reasonable price. He also completely reinstalled without an additional charge, a second motor after an initial install revealed that the first motor was a bit loud. Just really outstanding service.

Extremely pleased with the service I received from John for the install of my new HVAC system over a holiday weekend, recently. He was detailed, courteous and professional every step of the way. Home Comfort and John Field is a trustworthy service you can rely on. John has helped me several times with both A/C and Heating issues including installation of a new unit. He always has the parts needed to fix issues and is reachable directly without any appointments hassle. I have and would refer his services to anyone needing HVAC services.

It was 80 degrees in my house this Mother's Day due to a bad capacitor. John came out that morning and had me up and running in no time. The service charge was the most reasonable service fee I had seen, especially considering it was a Sunday ( and Mother's Day). Most other service companies would have charged an astronomical amount of money to come out on a Sunday, if they would even come out at all. It wasn't a hard decision to ask John to install our new system, which he did with the expertise and attention to detail as he always had. It is hard to find good service companies these days and I am happy to have found one in Home Comfort.

Our ac compressor went out at the end of the day on Thursday. John was very responsive and showed up at our house first thing on Friday morning. The warranty part was located in Springfield, MO. Instead of waiting for shipping, my husband went to Springfield to get the part. John went above and beyond to come back to our house at the end of the day to replace the part and get us up and running as the weekend temps were going to be brutal! Impressive service!

John has helped us and our extended families many times in the past and our no longer new (9yr old) A/C unit burned up it's fan motor. I put in a request for callback on the Home Comfort website just before midnight on a Friday night and John called first thing in the morning Saturday. 45 minutes later he was there, already had the part on hand, fixed the problem and was done within an hour. Thankful the house is cool since it's 95 degrees out today. Great Job as always!

My wife and I were preparing for retirement. Our 17 year old furnace and air conditioner, as well as our 25 year old water heater, were still working OK. But they needed to be replaced before they failed. We searched for a family owned business carefully, based on positive past experiences with similar businesses. Then we found John Field's business. John is a pleasant man. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth. He sat at our kitchen table, spread out several brochures, and went over all of our options with us slowly and methodically,. He answered all our many questions to our satisfaction. As it turned out, John's recommendations dovetailed with our previous selections based on our own due diligence. The selected American Standard furnace and air conditioner, as well as the top-of-the line Rheem 50 gallon water heater were installed within 1-1/2 days. We made the right choice. We strongly recommend John to anyone that needs honest, no nonsense work ethic, top drawer installation and a very reasonable price. John beat out other local Lenexa competition hands down. Forget about the rest of the flashy guys out there and go with John Field,. You will be glad you did. We are two very happy customers. :-)
