Joseph inspected our chimney and explained every aspect of what was needed to turn my wood burning fireplace to electric. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The crew that came out was very polite and and kept me informed of all aspects of the remodel. I am very pleased with the entire process. The pictures do not do it justice. I would highly recommend this company.

These guys did an AMAZING job! I had called several chimney companies before finding Chimney Restoration of Kansas City - oddly enough from a phone number on the back of a t-shirt! When they came out to estimate the cost for our chimney repair, they listened to what our needs were, gave us different options, took loads of photos so we could see everything on the roof and got us on the schedule! Their communication was stellar. I knew each day what time the crew would be there and when they were winding down. Answering my questions and making sure that they followed up on each one. Good guys all around. Afterward, they gave me photos of the process and end result. I'd hire Chimney Restoration of Kansas City again! (But probably won't have to because of the thorough job they did!) A BIG thanks to Joseph and Caden and his crew!

Carsen from CRofKC sent a text telling me he’s on the way and was pleasant, professional and listened to our issues. Then did a complete inspection and cleaning. He communicated during the entire visit and explained the services and fees before he did any work. We will plan to use Carsen and Chimney Restoration next time we have issues.

Carson did initial scope of storm damage to chimney and wrapped it for safety until the repair work was done. The team of Kyle, Jay and Kevin did meticulous work to successfully rebuild like knew! I was impressed at every step of the way by how this company handled pulling out our old (inefficient) fireplace unit and replacing it with a brand new, MUCH more efficient one. It was a big project! Absolutely refreshing to have experienced this family-owned local business, Chimney Restoration. They believe in providing the best customer care, and it is evident throughout. Carsen inspected our old, dilapidated chimneys, provided detailed photos of the inspection, made recommendations, and gave various options to choose from. He coordinated the work to ensure the highest quality work, answered all our questions, and communicated with us throughout the job progress. Courtney responded to texts and emails, continually informing us of work schedules. Kyle and Ben, with the tech team, did a professional, quality job in rebuilding the chimneys, cap, and flashing and installed our new fireplaces. So respectful, so good with people. Oh, did I mention everyone we had any contact with were all focused on providing excellent customer service? If you need chimney repair, don't go anywhere else!

The inspection we got from Joseph Wealot was extremely professional and through. He explained all kinds of things from grout erosion chemistry and airflow engineering, to our chimney's construction type and its pros and cons. He was extremely knowledgeable but also very approachable, and explained everything in a very understandable fashion. He detailed many options we had for our fixes and improvements (two chimney linings, one chimney repair, one chimney remodel, and a fireplace insert install), but also did not waver when it came to some parts of our 1920s house that were out of code. I really appreciated this as some other reputable companies from the KC area said they would let these things slide when I got their inspections... but not Chimney Restoration. We really appreciate this kind of integrity!

Chimney restoration is dedicated to educating their employees and their customers. I'm really grateful they did my repairs. Fixed a water leak, did a Removal and replacement for my home. 2 old fireplaces removed and 1 electric and 1 Forever fireplace installed. They took great care the entire time and I'm beyond happy with their work!

Chris and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. We received a complete Ventis forever fireplace system. This wood burning unit performs great and the fires emit tremendous heat.

They were very helpful and fast with their services. I had new hoods put on a seal put on the crown and a full inspection. Very happy with work and communication.

Friendly staff, good follow up and on time. Problem I encountered was when they did the inspection they were not able to clean chimney. Went on roof and mentioned a 3-2-10 rule and then looked in fireplace and said something about needing smooth high temp resistant concrete. Thus another reason they couldn't sweep chimney. Still was charged $125 for exterior inspection. In summary why not look in fireplace before inspection on roof? I think unless you have a new home no need to ask for chimney sweep since over 90% of older homes won't meet their criteria. Nice people but I learned my lesson.

Carsen and his team took good care of us. Our old, ugly, rusted metal cap was damaged during a storm and caused a bunch of problems in the process. CROKC got us back up and running and it looks so much better; they poured a new concrete cap, added new tile flue, and did some light tuck pointing/painting. We can use our gas fireplace again and it works better than it did before. They were great communicators, on time and professional throughout the whole process. Prices were competitive, we got several bids and they were in the middle. Recommend.

We have a house that is over 60years old. We have two fireplaces which means 2 chimneys. It had been awhile since the chimneys had been cleaned so we called Chimney Restoration of KC to do the deed right before Christmas. After the initial inspection we got the sad but true news that both our chimneys needed a major overhaul and after seeing the before pictures we totally agreed. They started immediately with the overhaul and restoration. The workmen were extremely efficient, curious and professional. They were very respectful not only of our home but our pets as well. They explained the process as they went complete with play by play pictures and left minimal dust if any in our home. We have been asked by friends if we would do it again and the answer is a resounding …absolutely yes! Chimney Restoration of KC, as far as we are concerned, is the best in town!

We are extremely happy with our new linear electric fireplace insert that Chimney Restoration of KC installed after removing an old gas insert and stone surround. Bryan and Daylen were on time, respectful of our home, competent and kept our home clean. The job required work inside, on the roof and in the attic. Our experience with this company was great and we highly recommend them.

Joseph was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and was very upfront with our fireplace insert issues. We had no idea construction codes had changed for inserts. He explained all of the options available to us. He was great! We trusted him so much. His explanation is so unusual theses days. I had a leak from my chimney that needed attention. I reached Chimney Restoration of Kansas City to see if they could come out and look at it. I am so glad I did! They were so easy to work with. Zack came out to inspect the chimney and there was no pushy upsell. He was professional, patient and very pleasant to work with. They got me in the schedule right away. James and Montell did the repair. When they arrived, they immediately went to work. When they left everything was so clean you could not tell I had work done if you didn't see them do it.
