We had Chimney Restoration of KC perform significant repairs on our 70 year old chimney. Their crew was friendly, professional and respectful. They completed the repairs on schedule and kept our house clean the whole time. We highly recommend them for anybody needing chimney work.

I called as another trade working on my house advised my chimney crown was failing. Inspected and advised on the flue’s condition showing me photos of what was found. Scheduled crown repair. Replaced my chimney crown in a skilled craftsman-like manner. The crew worked hard, was very well led and stayed busy. I am confident of the quality and competence of the work done. I can highly recommend KC Chimney Restoration in good conscience.

We had an amazing experience! We’ve had our chimney covered to prevent interior water damage for the last year after another company just stopped showing up for us. Chimney Restoration of KC got back to me immediately and was out for an inspection the next day. They were thorough and detailed, answering all of our questions along the way and quick to diagnose the problem and now a week later we no longer have a tarp on our chimney but a sleek new cap and a tightly, sealed crown. Chimney Restoration of KC did a great job of tearing out my old wood burning fireplace and installing a new high efficiency gas fireplace. From start to finish the whole crew did great job of demo, reinstalling a new fireplace and prepping the area for stone work. We purchased our stone veneer from Stone Concepts in Shawnee and Chimney Restoration recommended a guy to install the stone for us. They kept our house clean throughout the process and the crew was very kind and respectful.

We had a great experience with Chimney Restoration of KC! They got us onto their schedule quickly for our first ever inspection. Carsen Knop was so polite and knowledgeable. I am a curious person by nature, and he was very willing to teach me all about my fireplace and how everything works. I feel very confident that we are using our fireplace safely. Carsen educated me on our realistic maintenance expectations and didn't try to sell me on anything we didn't need at this time. We look forward to working with this company for our yearly inspections and any other fireplace needs we may have!

I have to let anyone who is looking for a top notch company to look no further!! It started from Joseph doing a second opinion inspection before I decided to use a gas fireplace in the home I just purchased. Joseph's report was sooooo much more detailed and I could tell he was very concerned for me after his findings to go with a gas fireplace unless I repair the entire lining$$$$$. It was contrary to what the 1st company had reported. He showed me the results and did a thorough explanation. I decided to go with 2 Electric Fireplaces. I am so glad I went with a second opinion!!!! There are so many options you can do with them to elevate your space considerably without the worry of Gas. I also had work done on my outside chimney to to seal cracks, add caps and cut down piping from the wood stove . Kyle was awesome! He put the fireplaces in and his coworker(sorry forgot his name) got up on the chimney on a VERY cold day and did a great job repairing and doing preventive maintenance. The communication between the entire company is just another thing that sets them apart from other companies. Communication with Kris, who was my main contact, made me feel heard and he got back to me every time ASAP!!! His Knowledge and detailed explanations helped me to make decisions which made me lifelong happy satisfied customer!!! I can see why they get 5 star ratings. Very rude, and un-accommodating. Texting my phone like an angry teenager, when our realtor was going to be 20 minutes late to let him in. Completely unprofessional, and disrespectful.

Whoever was driving the Diamond duct cleaning truck turned around in my driveway and went off of the driveway into the area I was grading to be ready for grass seed and then left mud tracks all over my driveway. I have it all on video.

Had a mold issue with a new house I purchased, and Jeff and his crew took care of it expediently, with great communication and at a fair price. Thank you very much, thoroughly recommended!

He showed up early which was fine, but then said he forgot something and would be right back, after over 3 hours of waiting and him not answering calls or texts we left a message that we had to go get other stuff done. This was very unprofessional, even if he had just called and told us something had come up that would have been ok, but no call, no show, and not answering is not ok. I do not recommend this company. Very unprofessional.

This company not only wasted our time, but also money. We purchased a Groupon for them, they wasted our time not showing up for first appointment. Second time they just came at the time that was not scheduled when no one was at home. Then , after numerous unanswered calls they decided to come up with an excuse not come out again by claiming that they don’t clean townhomes. They probably just don’t want to do it because we had a Groupon. I don’t see how I can get it refunded as there seems to be no way to reach Groupon customer service or an option to request a refund. So I will just keep writing review on them.

Scheduled duct cleaning at 9am one day. Took the day off of work. 9:15am that day called and left a message asking if they were going to be there. 10:15am that day left a text. No response to either and never showed. It is peak season at my job and it is very difficult to schedule time off to get house work done. This company completely wasted my time.
