Read moreThey replaced rotted wood on the front of my home and my deck. And they painted all of it. All in 6 hours. They do great work at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Wood Rot Solutions
Jeremy and his team fixed extensive wood rot on all sides of our home, and also replaced our back door and storm door. They did an awesome job, and we are planning to have him come back next year to do some additional work. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.
The wood frame around my original 1952 front picture window had been wrapped in aluminum by the previous owners. I was checking my window one day and realized that the sill was rotted out under the aluminum and there were ants making a home in there. I got Jeremy's number from a window company and called him. He came out promptly, gave me a reasonable estimate, and one of his guys Kevin, did the work. Kevin worked nonstop for over 8 hours, removing the aluminum, the old frames and sill, he had to remove my beautiful old picture window too...carefully. Then he replaced all the frames with vinyl frames, put my picture window back in, caulked everything so it was buttoned up tight, then painted! It looks amazing, no more ants, I get to keep my beautiful original picture window, and the window will outlast me now.
I called 5 people for estimates on our project. 2 never called me back, 2 said they would take a look and never showed up, and then there was Jeremy. Jeremy came promptly and gave us a reasonable quote. When we suddenly decided to put our house on the market he worked us in ahead of schedule. To top it all off his men did excellent work. I highly recommend Wood Rot Solutions and they will be my first call next time I need someone!
I had used this company a few years ago for a quick repair on account of refinancing the house and the bank's inspector found wood rot. Fast forward and we are selling the house and decided to use this gentleman's company again. On the day I reached him he was out a few hours later to give a bid. He used a ladder. Many contractors don't, which is surprising. The following day the estimate was received. It's best to obtain several estimates. This company had provided quality work but they are extremely expensive. Yes, I've heard the saying "You get what you pay for." However, when estimates are priced based on line by line items instead of per project; it can become unclear if someone is trying to take advantage of a project or is providing a high bid because they are too busy to accept a new project. Make sure when hiring a contractor you purchase the materials for the identical cost that the contractor would have purchased them, too.
This company is amazing! They replaced all the siding on our house and painted it. They started on a Monday and done by Friday. I'm beyond happy with how amazing they did! Jeremy the owner is easy to work with and was there everyday working and managing the project. I highly recommend!! Katie and Danny from Prairie Village
