Paul and Paul Jr installed a water heater on a Saturday morning. Very professional and polite. Then we called them back a few evenings later and they installed new shut off valves on all sinks and hooked up drain lines and water lines for new sinks. Definitely recommend

Paul and his crew did a great job of upgrading our electrical panel to 200 amps. He coordinated with the power company and everything went very smoothly. They upgraded the line to the house and installed a new meter and conduit outside and replaced our old Pushmatic breaker box inside. Everything looks so much better! They made a complicated process look very easy. For all of your electrical needs, you better call Paul!

Roger Robinson did a great job- he gave me advanced notice he was on his way, arrived right at the beginning of the time window provided, was very polite, friendly and efficient. He quickly identified and resolved our garbage disposal problem and took care of removing the old one and packaging so there was nothing to have to clean up afterwards. Will definitely use Joe Lillis again!

We weren’t sure if we needed a new sump pump or if maybe the sump pump line outside the house was clogged. We just knew our sump pump wasn’t working as it should. With 3 days of rain on the way, I was starting to panic. Due to their availability, we initially called Roto-Rooter. They came out and gave us a quote of “up to $3200” to replace the sump pump and backup battery. I’ve never had a sump pump replaced or even repaired, but a quick Google search revealed that a quote anywhere near $3k is ridiculous. With the clock ticking, I was frantically calling other plumbing companies. Superior Plumbing is actually who referred me to Joe Lillis Plumbing. I figure when one plumbing company refers you to another plumbing company, they probably know what they’re talking about.
From the time I called Joe Lillis until we had a new sump pump installed, it was less than 3 hours…. and only $620. Of course, I know they might not always be able to respond so quickly, but regardless, they were timely, professional, and affordable. Don’t hesitate to hire them. While I hope we don’t need them again, when and if we need plumbing services again, I would definitely use Joe Lillis again.

This is the group you want to work with going forward..... After talking to three other large plumbing outfits to try and get someone to fix my master bathroom faucet... I made one more call and they said they could come out the next day. They did.... Service was outstanding.....

Their fees for service are "very" reasonable... Other quotes I got to repair the same thing were completely out of control. One was what I consider insult pricing. I don't think a heart transplant costs as much as what another group wanted to charge me.

They've been in the business for decades and know what they are doing. I'm a raving fan...... Genuinely good people that do great work at a fair price. You can't ask for more than that.

Not only did they come out the same day, but the tech Chase Rust that responded was full of information and couldn’t have been friendlier! His work was fast , professional and certainly affordable! Joe did a phenomenal job replacing our aging water heater with a new one. The process was seamless from evaluation to completed installation. He gave us several options and gave us fair prices. Had broken water pipes from the -12 arctic freeze of 2024. Called Joe Lillis plumbing and had a scheduled appt within 18 hrs. Eric showed up early and had 2 pipes repaired behind a wall quickly. We called Joe Lillis Plumbing to come help us troubleshoot an issue with our laundry standpipe that wasn't properly draining. They were able to come next-day and fix our issue. Honest, High Quality, Quick, and Stellar Pricing! Joe was recommended to me by a neighbor. I’m big on picking contractors and other such things based on google reviews as well as recommendations from others. But, I always get more than one bid so I don’t get hosed, and so I can choose using my gut according to how I’m treated. As such comparing Joe to other plumbers that came out: No gimmicks, I totally felt like I was being “sold” by the others. Joe was down to earth, kind, and you could tell the work I had for him was a no brainer for him. In fact he even suggested I pick different tub/shower trim kits to make the work easier on that particular job. It was a matter of switching brands for replacement rather than cutting walls and tiles to use the first brand I picked. THANK YOU!!! Both plumbers pointed out on the bar faucet that the plumbing coming from the wall needed to be rerouted because the new sink was deeper than the old. However, Joe explained the work much better, and looked in more detail at what it would entail before giving a quote. And the best part, his bid came in 1/3 the cost of the others!!! What a genuine, honest guy. Licensed Master Plumber that is going to take care of all your plumbing needs without ripping you off for something you can’t, and probably shouldn’t, do on your own.

Hired them to replace my water heater a few months ago. I was busy and working during the install, so didn't pay much attention to it until after they had left. The installer was friendly enough, but as you can see in the picture, the install is not exactly "professional" quality. Notice the water heater is rotated such that the drain valve and pressure release drain into the wall vs. rotated away and towards the drain like the old one was. Also notice the pipe on the left was installed at an odd angle so it isn't even running straight. Finally, notice the incorrect placement of the shutoff valve. It's fine for shutting off the water to drain the tank, but useless if you have to service the expansion tank or the next time I need to replace the water heater - because of the stupid placement I'll still need to shut the water off to the whole house. All of these are annoying, but don't impact the function of the water heater itself, so I didn't feel it was worth my time to have them fix it.

The event that prompted this review is a gas leak that developed due to poor installation of the gas line. I noticed a gas smell in my basement last Saturday morning and called them during their posted business hours, only to get their answering machine. I assumed they must have gone out of business or something since they never called me back and ended up taking care of it without them. (The issue turned out to be a fitting just not tightened enough, allowing gas to leak).

To my surprise, they called me back TWO DAYS later and offered to schedule someone to come out at 4PM. So they wait almost 48 hours after a gas leak report, and then want you to wait another 8 hours to have someone actually come out and fix it. Luckily I was able to have it taken care of vs. waiting all that time and risking an explosion.

Maybe use these guys for minor repairs or work where appearance doesn't matter, and that's in a location where a leak won't cause major damage if they don't come to fix it ASAP. If you care about appearance and prompt service when something goes wrong, look elsewhere.

During the most recent power outage I needed a new toilet.
It was an emergency. I was told a technician could install it that day. I was relieved! He arrived on time and was professional and pleasant.

When I realized it wasn't the toilet I wanted, I talked to Joe.
He and I worked out a solution that went way beyond my expectations. He would replace it with the new one and not charge for the installation, just the difference between the 2 toilets. The technician was out the same day to install it.

I would highly recommend this company for the willingness to go out of the way to make a customer happy with same day service.

Brand new to the area and wanted to support a local business for plumbing needs. Joe personally picked up on the 2nd ring and had a plumber out to us within a few hours. Very professional, felt safe with him in the house, and solved our issues efficiently and at a fair price for everyone involved. Will be a repeat customer down the road.

What a great company. We had a leak from the jet tub in our master bathroom. I called, they answered, scheduled a technician to come out within 48 hours. He arrived as scheduled, sent a text beforehand.

He listened to us describe the problem, asked questions, then set about troubleshooting. He explained to us what he felt the problem was, used pictures he took, recommended the repairs and price.

He made the repairs, showed us the new plumbing connections and pipes, ran tests to ensure the problem was fixed.

We called Joe Lillis Plumbing for an issue we were having. Tab was prompt in arriving at the time given. He gave us the cost estimate for repair and swiftly completed the job. He explained what he was doing and also made sure the area was cleaner than when he came. We would highly recommend Joe Lillis Plumbing!!

Quick response and the job got done, but they told me one price over the phone and changed it in person. Charged me for main line cleaning when they only cleaned a basement line. One of the guys didn't wear gloves during the process and also handled the ipad for me to sign, which was pretty unsanitary. They tried to upsell me with an unneeded upgrade. They took their time so they could charge me an hour instead of 45min. Overall just kinda money hungry instead of customer satisfaction focused.

After paying a $99 service fee plus another $6 in fuel surcharge (because $99 did not cover that), to someone advertised to “trust with my house keys”, I was shocked at the attempted gouging bid of $1,000 to replace my basement main water valve. I thanked the tech but declined their service.

A day later a friend recommended me to try Joe Lillis Plumbing, and I am glad I did. From Joe’s wife who answers the phone and is personable, to Eric the tech who came out and had the job done in under 30 minutes, I could not be more pleased. Turns out the $295 I was quoted on the phone for parts and labor came to…$295! How refreshing.

Be sure to get more than one quote for your job and if the company advertises heavily on the radio and or television. you are paying for those commercials, not them.
