Wow, great experience with Waring. Bought a house with a Generac generator in 05/2021.Was attempting to connect the generator to Generac's wifi link and realized the controller was bad. Contacted Waring and thay found the unit had a transferable warranty! We replaced the controller and serviced the unit. In the process we found the battery bad (which I had concerns about) and replaced. We're now monitoring the unit via wifi and are confident it'll run when we need it. Great service and great folks.

Waring Electric salvaged my solar system that had done horribly wrong from a different company, The Warings came in, estimated my system cost and performance, both of which were very conservative. In the end, my solar system was installed correctly (most importantly), significantly under their quoted price, and now is outperforming their estimated numbers. Simply put, after eight quotes on my solar installation, I would trust nobody but Waring Electric. Thank you, Curtis and Julie, for all the help and a quality install at an affordable price!

I have had a Generac 22KW generator for 8 years. I initially did not have any issues with it and then it was having trouble keeping the idle steady on it. I called a local supposed Generac repair place locally they were at my house all day then just left. I assumed they fixed it till earlier a couple of months ago and the power went out and the generator didn’t start. I contacted Curtis and he came over to my house and diagnosed that it was the stepper motor that went bad. After a week the motor was installed after he received it. The power again went out yesterday and the generator worked like it was supposed to. I am going to see about getting Solar energy so I won’t have to depend on the Grid to keep the AC and the lights on.

We were satisfied with everything. We got a Generac Home Standby Generator and a breaker panel upgrade. The rep was very informative and courteous. Answered our questions patiently and then the installation crew was efficient and professional but also very nice.

My Father-in-law had used this service and happily referred me Mr. Waring. Up front, no non-sense, knowledgeable, and pointed me in the right direction. Curtis and his crew were great to work with. They are very knowledgeable about installing solar panels. They were on time and always returned calls right away. We will definitely use them in the future and I will be referring them to our friends and family.

After a storm caused damage to my meter, Waring was able to get in the morning after I called when everyone was scheduling days out. The staff was incredibly helpful and the work was done quickly and efficiently.

As an aside, I was without AC and had my dog in the car while they repaired. He locked himself in and one of the electricians took a minute at the end of the job to help me and an officer get in. They saved me twice in one day!

Waring Electric was amazing! They persevered through dealings with our horrible city personal until they received the approvals needed to work on our solar panels. Once that issue was resolved they quickly serviced our panels and got them back on line. We highly recommend them for any solar work you need completed. A thousand thank yous for all their help.

Bottom line: make sure to get multiple quotes elsewhere unless money is no object. They were very pleasant to work with on getting a quote and they would likely give good service based on other reviews, but their sales/quotes process is totally broken and totally misses customer needs and refuses to be flexible even when comprehensive evidence is provided.

They tried to sell me a 30 kw liquid cooled at an extremely inflated install cost. They refused to go below 28 kw even though that's MORE than my panel can even handle. I showed them how little electricity we use and how 20 kw is perfect and asked for a quote on that, but they tried to tell me that electrical regulations doesn’t allow them to put in something that small because of the appliances we had.

Peak hour of peak day of year in middle of summer when our 20 year old AC had given out and we were all on inefficient window AC units was only 7 kwh for that hour. I'm very aware of startup peaks of pumps and stuff, but even if all three of our 1/2 HP pumps magically started at once, that's still only an additional 12 kw startup surge at upper end. Everything else is totally voluntary run-on-demand (oven, washer, dishwasher, etc) which can easily be rationed and run intelligently. Furthermore, we now have two-stage SEER21 AC that basically runs at low level continuously during summer to dehumidify which makes for very low, even electrical usage.

In short, extreme disconnect on trying to push expensive stuff I didn't need. I confirmed all of this with multiple electricians (including some that do generator installs and some who do not, thus were unbiased) to make sure I was correct on all my calculations.

Curtis knows more about Generac Generators than anyone in south central Kansas and probably further than that. I've talked to most of his competitors and got no where. Curtis walked me right through it and got me up and running again in no time. Definitely call them if you are having issues. Great people!!

We were having an issue with our fridge and weren't sure if the problem was the outlet/ breaker or the fridge itself. Elite came highly recommended through friends and neighbors so I called them up. Larry came out and could tell within 5 minutes that it was a fridge problem and nothing he could fix so he was merciful and didn't charge us for the service call or anything. He gave a few suggestions on how to be careful if considering used fridges (we definitely are) as well so that was very helpful, outside my expertise for sure! We will definitely be using this company again! Didn't realize at first they are veteran-owned so am glad to patronize them for that reason as well since my older brother served in the Marines. Oorah!

Luis made a last minute stop by my house even though they were very busy because he knew the holidays were coming up. He was polite, friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Diagnosed my problem, fixed a loose circuit, and was on his way. He shared some information to help me tackle minor issues if they pop up in the future and avoid another service call, but I will be using this company again the next time an issue pops up that requires an electrician!

Had an electrician come out on a Saturday to fix an issue with our breaker box after being without power for 17 hours. He was very friendly, explained what he was looking at and fixing, and kind enough to fit us into his schedule on such short notice. He came out 30 minutes after contacting him. Great service for a great price. Will definitely use Elite Electric next time we have an issue.
