As a local insurance agency we have worked with Spartan Construction & Design and the owner when he was employed at another business in town as their project manager. I recommend their services- they are very thorough.

Chad and his hardworking crew did an outstanding job on our new roof. Unlike most contractors today, they worked until they got the job done. No bouncing from job site to job site stretching the work out on your house into days. The crew started at 6:30 in the morning and were finished around noon. The yard was clean of debris and our lives were restored to normal.

The price was extremely reasonable, and the workmanship was very high. Chad was a very easy person to deal with. He was on the job site the whole time to ensure things got done right.

I needed a new roof for a while. I had contacted nearly a dozen contractors. Chad from spartan construction made the best impression just by being truthful and trustworthy. Not pushy at all.

From the initial meeting through completion, working with Chad was great. He showed up on time to provide the initial estimate (When does that ever happen) and actually cared about doing a quality job. My project was to remove and replace the vinyl on the entire house. The crews showed up early on day one and continued to work on my project until it was complete. No jumping to another job and leaving the work partially done. The crew was professional and did quality work. Chad always checked on progress and how the work looked. The job turned out great and it was a pleasant experience working worth them. I highly recommend this company.

Chad and his crew did an excellent job! They were professional, they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it and they stayed until the job was complete. Chad Dowdy owner of Spartan Construction was recommended to us by our insurance company, Mary Boggs with State Farm. We incurred damage to our roof from the storm on April 2, 2024. I reached out to Chad because we were out of town and neighbors had called and could see we had a lot of damage. Chad returned our call and was quick to come to our home, assess the damage and secured our home with a tarp even as it continued to storm. We could not have been more grateful. Because had it not been for him, we would have experienced a lot of water damage inside our home, too. When we got back into town and met with Chad, we were so pleased with his knowledge and professionalism. He helped answer any questions and concerns we had and was so transparent about any costs that we would be incurring. Chad pays attention to detail. He even went as far as to place material over my flower bed and used metal detectors to collect any nails. We absolutely love our roof. It looks beautiful. Chad Dowdy, with Spartan Construction is the best! Chad is very honest about his quotes! Glad we found him! He is the only contractor that knew or even mentioned Kentucky laws! After dealing with 3 or 4 others, one that ripped us off, and the others just never came back, he's the one that was honest and that got the job done! And did an excellent job at it! I can’t say enough nice things about Chad Jamie and his roofing crew. Jamie came in with the most competitive prices around and met the tight timeline that we had to get the roof repaired before we left for vacation. His roofing crew worked from sun up to sun down! We have had Spartan do roofs on two homes for us. They did such a great job on the first one, there was no question who to call when we found a leak in our second home. They’re very professional, and complete their work efficiently and safely with exquisite attention to details and making certain everything was sealed and constructed as it should be. Reliable and communicates well. When 1st contacted Spartan I left message and Chad (owner) returned call to schedule estimate. Arrived on time for estimate and asked what work I was wanting completed. Chad explained each step of the process and gave information for me to consider. Once work to be completed was agreed upon Chad delivered a reasonable estimate. I agreed to contract. Work crew showed up on time and stayed all day until work completed. They gave me a quote for mowing, reduced it by 40% the next day, I accepted it and they haven't shown up in 6 weeks now to mow. Stay away from this company!

Bad company. Steer clear of them. Very unprofessional and dishonest.
