Tree technician was very helpful for treatment of my trees! He has given data to explain his ho forward plan, which I loved! I appreciate hearing what is needed!

My job contracts yall to do our horse farm. For the second time this year yall have ruined my car’s detailing job by shooting grass clippings all over it. It’s caked into my radiator and I tried spraying it off with water but I’m going to have to get in there and remove the debris somehow. Yall have already cost me around $500 this year just by me going to my job. I will be filing a complaint with my farm. I do the courtesy of watching out and making sure I don’t run into your workers with my truck while I’m working, yall can do the courtesy of not destroying an expensive detailing job.

David was very good at explaining the services and what he was going to do. First impression was very positive and I look forward to working with him. I was assured he would be my regular service technician which is a way to build a good relationship. My last lawn service did not meet expectations, I hope TruGreen can give me the results the last lawn care service could not.

Our landscape treatments by T. Clark are excellent. She always shows up and consistently does all our bushes/trees, unlike the lawn care, which is why we canceled it. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone in the Lexington office, UNLESS it is for sales.

I have only been with TruGreen for about 3 months and already canceled my service. As you can see in the photos, the burnt grass shows that there was way too much weed and feed sprayed and ultimately killed the grass.
Whenever I called to complain that I wasn’t seeing the right results they replied, “it takes a few months for you to see results”.
After a few months it’s going to be winter and I’m not going to be able to take care of my lawn anyway?
If you end up going with TruGreen I highly recommend you are on your property when they spray. Sometimes there are no notes to be left and no explanation why.
The representative that comes out for us was Matthew and clearly does not care about his job because how terrible this lawn looks.

We used TruGreen for 3 years, the complete lawn care program including grub control, fertilizer application, weed control and overseeding with aeration. This summer, something changed. Product/technician/communication were all terrible. About mid-summer, after watering the yard through the drought in central KY, the technician fertilized our yard and burned up several stripes throughout the lawn. A complimentary service visit was performed for inspection, where I watched the technician drive by the house on our home security camera. Did not get out of the truck or inspect the backyard. I called back again asking for sod and a refund, but was instead routed through voicemail and a local manager who responded once every 4 days to reply. In the meantime, our yard continued to wither. Grubs were back, with mole activity rampant. Crabgrass and weeds had taken over the front and back yard and the overfertilized areas were burned to bare dirt. TruGreen finally agreed to overseed and aerate for free, which they did on October 19. They left the gate open and our dog was let out. I called to cancel our service completely, as this was the final straw. Instead of completing my request, a technician was scheduled for fertilization October 21, while we were out of town. Once again the gate was left open and we were billed for the service visit. I had to again call to get the service visit refunded.

Until there are major changes to the Lexington organization, I would avoid this company regardless of their discounts. If this year is any indication, you'll lose your lawn and waste a lot of time trying to get any sort of remediation.

This was our first visit by TruGreen. Tim was very friendly and answered all of my questions. We are hoping that this will be a good thing for our lawn.

TruGreen came again to do an assessment of my lawn. Quyntavius and I were impressed that the weed-killing application yesterday was already obviously working as many of the weeds had already turned brown indicating that they were already dying. He is quite knowledgeable and named the types of weeds in my yard. I was pleased when he said that he would be monitoring my yard by periodically driving by to check on it.

Jacob Rowe did great job. Announced his arrival, answered questions and shared the treatments he applied. He was courteous and professional.

Giving one star because I don't have a problem with the quality of service. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get these people to relay info to the technician. I have repeatedly told them to treat the front yard only, yet I continue to get calls that they couldn't treat my yard because the gate to back yard is locked. Does anyone bother to ring my doorbell to ask ? No! So I call and after going through multiple selections on the automated phone service, I am assured they will only treat the front. Guess what happens the next day??? Same thing. I feel like I'm living in the movie Groundhogs Day!

TJ seeded my yard this afternoon! He was very friendly and informative on the service he was providing! TJ was very thorough with the seeding! He made sure that every square inch of my yard was covered! 10/10 would most definitely recommend!

I’m paying for full treatment. I shouldn’t have to call back and ask for my entire yard to be treated. If all you are going to do is spot treat, then don’t show up. Don’t lie to me and say that seeding and irrigation will smother out dallsgrass. Instead say pull it out and reseed because we don’t have anything to treat it. Nope you all want me to pay for spot treatment and seeding and aeration when that won’t fix the lawn problem. Don’t wrap the hoses around my new trees. I spent 1500 on them and It’s happened twice. Not only are the roots not set, but the pulling of the hose on them is damaging the trunk of my trees.

If there was an option here other than WeedMan, who I caught not actually applying product, I’d switch. At least you all put down some of the product I am paying for and my service guy is very knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. My lawn shouldn’t look like this after a year with you including aeration and seeding as well as previous years with WeedMan or TruGreen.

I have been using Buddy’s services for the past 10 years. Buddy is a great guy and does fantastic work. Highly recommend!
