Came out to inspect and clean our chimney. We were told that our chimney didn't meet code and would need to have additional height of pipe added to the roof and then braces added. Even told me they might have to tear out the stone work surround on the inside. We got a second opinion and turns out, everything was actually to code. Won't use Ace again.

Dustin was very professional And knowledgeable when we were having issues with our gas fireplace! He was able to diagnose the problem quickly without us having to spend a lot of extra money. Highly recommend Ace Chimney Sweep!!

Quick response to request for an estimate on repairing/replacing chimney chase cover ( within 24 hrs. ) Mike took pictures of damage and thoroughly explained scope of work needed to be performed. On day of repair, he visually demonstrated on ground level the parts being used and how they would be installed. Very pleased with the entire process!

The inspection was thorough and detailed. The employees were professional and explained things well. However, I was blindsided when they arrived and I found out that it was going to cost me double to have both chimneys inspected. On the phone I told them I have two chimneys and I was given a price, so I thought that was the estimate. Just be aware if you have two fireplaces :)

Very pleased with the work done repairing a 60 year old leaking chimney that also needed a new cap. Workers were professional and it showed that they knew what they were doing. They had a number of cap options which let my wife pick one she liked. When I had a leak 8 months later, their warranty work was quick and well done. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing chimney repairs!

We originally were going to have another company come to inspect our chimney, but they were unable to come out until January. I am so very happy that it worked out this way. Ace was professional, patient, organized, safe, priced less than the original company, the list goes on. We were impressed and will always call them for our chimney needs! They have gained new loyal customers here!

Paid what I thought was a reasonable inspection/cleaning fee of $300. Sent a report stating that everything possibly wrong was wrong with my chimney/flue. Gave me a price of nearly $10,000 to repair a flue! There is no way that this is a market standard for pricing. I have done enough research to know that. This is one of the companies you need to run away from. Horrible business practice, scare tactics, etc. These people are totally preying on vulnerable people that do not know better.

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. We had Ace come out maybe a month or two ago to do a cleaning and inspection. When I was watching the cleaning I noticed that, just like the years before this, hardly anything came out because we don’t burn all that much and we make sure to use good wood. We’ve also had our chimney inspected routinely and there are never any issues with the soundness of the system. At the end of the inspection the guy tells us that we have all this stuff that has to be replaced, also that our chimney is encrusted with stage 3 creosote and that it is unusable unless we have everything replaced. Then seconds later while we’re trying to process what we just heard he asks us when we want to schedule all the work to be done. Needless to say the whole thing felt weird, and the guy was not helpful in answering any of our questions since this was so different than every other year someone’s come out. So after we paid them like 400 for what they just did, they left. I went and looked up the chimney with a flashlight and the chimney, I kid you not is clean as a whistle. Over the next week or two, I sent the company several emails and called multiple times to ask about the situation and I got no feedback. We were forced to pay another good company to come out and give us a second opinion and he was just as confused as we were when he inspected it. I mean, it looks like a used chimney but other than a few little tiny dots in a tiny area at the very bottom of the pipe it’s super clean and it’s nowhere even close to unusable. He was actually shocked to hear that it was Ace that tried to pull one over on us like that and by the fact that they wouldn’t even acknowledge my questions about the situation. It really sucks when people take your money and also try to take advantage of you as well. They love to hide behind the whole certification thing, as if having a certificate means that they also automatically tell the truth. We won’t ever use this company again.

The crew members were great. Polite, professional and very tidy. They did an exceptional removal and an installation upgrade.

I needed my upholstery and carpet in one room cleaned in a hurry. PureClean was at my house that day and evening stayed a little later to finish the job. My upholstery, which was bought in the 70’s, looks fantastic. I couldn’t get the pet stains out of my carpeting and when he was through, they were completely gone! I’m very impressed with this company and I’m a very, very pleased customer!
