Zwicker Electric (Terry and Renee) removed an existing chandelier and an existing ceiling fan from a high ceiling area (approx 18 ft), and installed two large and heavy chandeliers in their place. They had to use a 16 ft ladder to reach each ceiling electrical box. They were extremely careful setting the ladder up, making sure not to scuff the floors, walls, or ceilings. They were very careful disconnecting the fixtures and lowering them to the ground. They then connected the support chains, spliced the wiring, and carefully raised the fixtures to their final height, connected the wiring to the power source, and then tested each fixture to make sure they both worked properly. The living room chandelier weighed almost sixty pounds, so Terry reinforced the support box with additional screws to insure a sturdy and sound support. They cleaned up their leftover materials and made sure the work area was left as it was originally. I was impressed with Terry's knowledge of and adherence to the applicable electrical codes, and his ingenuity and clever solutions to solve minor issues with the installation. The costs for this project were reasonable, and I was able to schedule the installation date and time online for a time that worked for me - and that is the date and time that they showed up! I will definitely use Zwicker again for any electrical projects I have in the future.

I always use Zwicker for my electrical work. Terry is professional and does great work. I’ve had him do everything from installing a sub panel in my garage, to adding an EV charger, and a generator bypass. I highly recommend and I will use them again!!!

Really appreciate the awesome job you did today! The new LED light is wonderful and I do not have to constantly mess with the old bulbs anymore. My mom always said if I ever had any electrical issues, call you! Thank you. I will always tell my friends about you all!!

So happy with this company!!! They were very quick to respond and provide a reasonable quote (very fair for the big work they did). They did an excellent job repairing and replacing my old outlets and breaker box, getting everything up to code. I feel safer in my new-old home. They were also nice and considerate to my little dogs, which is always a plus in my book!!! I'm planning on contacting them again for future upgrades!

Fantastic experience! My husband and I realized 3 of our outlets weren’t working after the big storm a few weeks ago. This included the outlet our refrigerator was connected to. After making sure the breaker wasn't tripped, my husband changed the outlets but they still weren’t working. Zwicker was able to come out quicker than any other company we called. The day of our appointment, they actually called and said they could be there earlier if we were available. The gentleman who came out checked the outlets then pulled a wire on the breaker box and of course everything worked. He also said that he thought the refrigerator was bad and causing one of the outlets to trip. My husband thanked him for coming out and asked how much the service fee was. They shook hands and he told my husband not to worry about it, and contact them if we had any other needs. We will definitely be reaching out again and have told our friends, family, and coworkers of our great experience!

I'm tired of being dumped for other clients. I was told it would take almost 2 days to put in new panel. I had called them almost 4 months ago because I saw fire come out of an outlet that was shared by a refrigerator and air fryer. They squeezed me into their schedule to fix the outlet. They came Tuesday December 5th and did most of the work. They also put new light fixture in kitchen and put new bulb in upstairs light. I thought that was nice. But, then they were packing up to leave and they couldn't get out of there fast enough. I noticed the air fryer was still on same outlet as refrigerator. He said they will not be back Wednesday and that he did notice that kitchen and bathroom were overloaded and should have their own circuit breaker. I was so shocked I couldn't speak. Why not fix it? Why not come back Wednesday like I was told on the phone? I am very upset and I am going to call an inspector and have someone else finish the job.

I read your response and like you said, we discussed on the day you replaced the outlet for the fryer that it was to have its own circuit breaker. That was not done. You have done nice things for me and that is why I remained a loyal customer despite your overly booked schedule. It is only common sense that if there are two rooms that are overloaded, that they should have been repaired before leaving. That was the purpose of the new panel. If it meant more money, all you had to do is discuss it with me. When this appointment was made, I was given Tuesday and Wednesday. In summary, job not finished, Wednesday taken away from me, and air fryer still overloaded with refrigerator which is why I won't use it. You don't need my business because when I asked when they could come back and finish the job, they said they were weeks booked out.

It was a very positive experience in every way. I felt that Terry gave me a very good estimate and I liked the way that Zwicker does their estimates and scheduling. It was a pleasure to have Chris and Renee working at my home today. They secured & grounded the weatherhead on my outside electrical line, replaced 3 security lights, 4 outside electrical outlets and 2 inside switches and checked the power to my dishwasher. I highly recommend this business.

Zwicker Electric upgraded my service and installed two EV chargers. They did an excellent job, finished the work in a timely manner, and did it all at a significantly better price than any of the numerous other quotes I had been given (from both small and large electrician businesses). When they came to give me my quote, Terry also came across as more knowledgable than any of the other electricians I had spoken with. He stood out even before beating their quotes. Will definitely be using them for any future electrical work.

The communication was excellent. Scheduling our appointment was easy and we were given a great heads-up phone call to let us know they were on the way. They even called to see if they could come by earlier than planned. The husband/wife team were very kind and although my lighting & fan fixture was a embarrassing operator error, they were generous and didn't make me feel bad about it. Found out they had just completed work on my next door neighbor's remodel, and that landlord said he was pleased with them as well! I assured them I will be calling them for my next electrical issue!

Zwicker does great work and everybody there is really nice. I’ve called multiple times, signed multiple estimates and nobody EVER calls back or follows up with a date. I will call back and ask what the deal is and again I am assured somebody will be in touch with me. Unfortunate that it never happens.

They’ve done a lot of work on my fixer-upper and do good work, but they’re so hard to get into that I’ve now found someone else. It’s nearly impossible to get a call back to schedule.

I cannot recommend Zwicker highly enough! Our a/c went out and the hvac tech said it due to a bad breaker. Terry arrived early the next morning, and quickly found the root cause of the problem, which was bad wiring done at the time of a/c install. He quickly fixed the problem and explained exactly what had happened. He was courteous, professional and his expertise was quite evident. I’d give him ten stars if I could!

What a wonderful experience my son had with the gentleman that came to fix the electricity. Kind, courteous, humorous, honest and helpful. What more can you ask?? I will continue to use this company!

Zwicker gave us amazing service on installing our Vanity lights, as well as assistance on a basement light install.. amazing work and would highly recommend them and we will be using them again.

Zwicker updated my electrical panel and did some wiring for me. Our neighborhood is having electrical panels checked to see that they are not Federal Pacific. The inspector said my panel was updated with no city inspection done. He opened it up and explained to me what a sloppy job they did. Now I have to pay again to have it worked on and inspected. Even though this was done in the past, it should have been done better and inspected. After they did work for me I had them put in my neighborhood minutes for good service. Now I know I made a big mistake by using them and referring them to others.

I had a loose electrical outlet. The woman I talked to was very professional. A few minutes before my appointment I received a call and was told the technician was in route. He showed within a few minutes and fixed the problem. He was in and out just like that. He was very professional. I highly recommend these guys!

We hired this company for a panel replacement as well as kitchen rough-in and finish electrical work. One of the owners came out personally to provide the quote, was knowledgeable and kind, and even shared contact info for someone at the city to help answer questions about our panel replacement. The rough-in work went okay overall, though it did take a few days longer than originally projected.

During the rough-in process though, one of the electricians accidentally drilled through the tile from the outside in our newly renovated bathrooms. They did acknowledge the mistake and covered the cost to have it repaired. We understand that accidents can happen on job sites and appreciated that they took responsibility for fixing it.

Unfortunately, the finish work was where most of the issues began. The same electricians came back to finish the job and they were not attentive to detail. It’s hard to tell whether the problems stemmed from lack of care or lack of experience, but we ended up with damage to our newly refinished hardwood floors, as well as to our custom kitchen cabinets and our newly installed quartz countertop.

There were also electrical mistakes: our oven initially didn’t work because a four-way plug was installed on a three-way wire that had been reused from before. They did come and fix this after it was diagnosed thorough investigation done by us. We then failed our inspection for the panel, which required them to come back out and make corrections - we then passed it. After they completed the work we realized one of the porch outlets does not work, and one of the four-way switches is not functioning properly.
We have lost confidence in their work and don’t feel comfortable having them return to our property to address the remaining issues. We’ll be hiring another electrician to get everything corrected and back up to code.
This experience was disappointing. I’m not sure if we caught them at a bad time or if this was just a mismatch in expectations, but unfortunately, I would not use this company again.

If I could give Terry and his team 11 stars, I would! While our electrical project was fairly simple and small compared to other issues that come up, I was extremely happy with the office communication, and the entire job was done in under an hour. Terry was so pleasant and explained everything to me, and even helped me understand how to wire our current oven plug to the new oven we are getting. He actually saved me money by doing that! I will absolutely be using Zwicker for any of our electrician needs (we live in an old Victorian in Old Lou, so there will be more needs :) and I have already recommended them to some friends. Thank you guys!!!!
