TruGreen has been diligently servicing my property for several years now, and I am thoroughly satisfied with their consistent efforts. Even when I encounter any issues, they promptly address them, ensuring my complete satisfaction. I am truly grateful for all they do for me.

Whoever is running the Middletown branch needs to be fired. I have not had lawn treated in past 2 months due to "specialist" cancelling my appointments

Very Happy with our first treatment. Grass was very green neighbors complimented us on how green it was. Second treatment on May 15th 2025, turned grass yellow looks like chemical burn. I sent email, spoke with a representative. They said someone could come out next week. I told her I would like a supervisor to come out today to look at the grass . She said someone would call me in the next 24 to 48 hours. I am concerned that the grass will be worse . I am concerned if it’s not dead it will die. I have photos.

UPDATE: I received a call from True Green customer service team regarding my 3 star review and the message below. They helped me through my issue, and assured me they would address them. The lady was extremely helpful and very nice. Updating my score to 5 stars because of that interaction.

Current customer. Services have been on time so that’s good.

True green team called and asked to schedule a service based on issues they saw in our neighborhood and was trying to rush me to book. I told him I wasn’t interested and he hung up. Middletown location is where he said he was calling from.

Called in to schedule my Aeration and the farthest they said I could book out was 1 week. I was told to let the system book for me and that I should call back after and then rebook.

Overall it seems like they have a stellar team to get you to buy into the services, but their customer service team dealing with scheduling and post sale questions is not great. Hoping it gets better because I recently switched to them to give it a try

I had to write a review on Jonathan Brown he came and sprayed every inch of our yard! No shortcuts. He used Granger on grass seed we have down. He took time to talk to us and explain things. Had a smile on his face the entire time even though it was hot! Very professional! I highly recommend Jonathan with trugreen!!! Last year we used weedman needless to say we did not see the results we wanted. When you are paying for a professional to come spray your yard this is the guy you want! He knows what he’s doing and takes pride in his work. Jonathan, thank you for coming and taking time to talk to us and doing the job we are paying for!!! Highly satisfied with Jonathan as our yard professional. I feel we will definitely accomplish the goals we are looking for!!

Justin Carpenter was our specialist. He power seeded and aerated our yard and did an excellent job. He was very prompt and professional and also explained all the aftercare and what we needed to do to maintain. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

The lawn had been showing signs of distress, and TrueGreen applied a professional mix of nutrients to bring it back to life. It's looks healthy again. Green and lush.

I have a big dead spot just a day or two after the visit exactly where the Trugreen truck was parked. Fortunately I have cameras….ugh

In and out. Knocked on my door and let me know she was there to carry out the treatment. Yard is starting to look good. Hope this fertilizer thickens up the grass

Trugreen aerated my neighbors lawn and came across the property line and severed our internet cable. Their workers stopped the equipment immediately after our internet service disconnected which leads me to believe they knew they hit something. I contacted their customer service on 8/8/25 at 1227 pm and again on 8/13 at 1456. Both times I spoke with Rihanna and was told I would receive a phone call by the end of business. I did not receive a call back either time. I still have yet to receive one. ATT has been out and the new line needs to be re-buried which has actually resulted in our grass dying from them digging it up to bury the line.

Grass is plush in the front yard.
Definitely kills the weeds.
Back yard is alow to fill in with grass yet.
Wish it was a little quicker process.
We probably need to aerate to go along with their spray.
Like the company and the app.

I will be canceling my trugreen lawn service after being a customer for over 5 years. I have caught them at least once not showing up to do the service when they said they did. Crabgrass - one of the difficult weeds they guarantee their services will control - is out of control in my lawn and has now invaded my garden beds, creating a huge mess. So, obviously I didn’t catch every time they said they showed up, but didn’t or their services don’t work. When I contacted customer service to ask them to honor their guarantee and fix the problem. I was told we don’t do that, you can hire someone else. When I responded to that, I have heard nothing for several days. I’m shocked that this has been the response to a loyal customer with a problem they guarantee to fix. Posting as a cautionary tale so other home owners don’t trust them too and then have to deal with the mess I have to deal with not.

Was time to do some lawn and tree maintenance! Something was pest invading my shrubs and trees. First treatment was done today in a very timely and expert manner. Really appreciate this! Thank you so much.

The tech I had today was very helpful in explaining how he treated my lawn.
He also sprayed behind my shed around my AC unit when the last tech was skipping on my treatment.

It has been Vile working with Truegreen. 3 years ago I wanted my lawn seeded. for months they went to the wrong house, left my gates open, never seeded. I cancelled because they kept billing me for GRUBs, I told them I don't know what that is, and I am not paying for it a year ago. I sold my house and moved. Tuesday I was told at 5pm they were going to be at the house Wednesday, they were closed, so I deleted all payment methods, emailed them and told them to cancel I have moved and I cant deal with them. Wednesday morning they told me bright and early they completed the service before I could call. an hour later I got confirmation they had cancelled and I wouldn't be charged. They kept running the card over and over, causing my accounts to be frozen since they had a bad billing address. they were able Thursday morning to get a $62 transaction to go through. Which the bank immediatly blocked the cards, all access to the accounts. I have to go through the bank to get the accounts reopened, new cards sent. I have been on the phone with them for 30 minutes so far to figure out why they still processed the card dispite their own records showing it was closed and cancelled. Would never recommend a single service from them.

Unfortunately, the quality of TruGreen’s service really depends on who shows up at your house. Some technicians are great, but others clearly don’t take the job seriously. One of them sprayed the lawn as if marking territory—quick, careless, and completely ineffective. It didn’t even touch the front lawn properly, and of course, the weeds are still there. I had hoped to continue using their service long-term, but if this keeps happening, I’ll have no choice but to switch to a more reliable company

Lawn had issues after several normal treatments. Called and voiced my dismay. Trugreen had someone come out and spray again with 2 days. We will see how that goes. I was very happy with the quick response.

Very professional. Also maintained his knowledge of our cats that like to go outdoors and advise us to keep them inside. Also advises us to wait at least 24 hours after application to mow the yard. And he closed the gate door. Everything we had asked for! Excellent excellent excellent.
