On-hand lawn Care charges by the minute they are near your house. In some instances, they charged me almost twice the amount of time they were actually at my house. They later even admitted to this. They also charged me for multiple bags of grass per visit, even when they did not use a single bag. I proved this by showing pictures from my surveillance system.
Should you opt for On-Hand Lawn Care, it's crucial to be vigilant. Verify how much time they spend on your lawn and ensure they are doing what they charge you for.

I had to discover their mistakes myself, and when I brought this to their attention, I was hoping for an apology and for them to say they would not repeat it. Instead, they wanted proof, and even after I gave them the proof, they decided to raise my minimum amount (I assume to cover not being able to cheat me as easily). They did decide to refund me some of the money they cheated me out.
I do not recommend this company.

I have been doing my own lawn for years with a special golf course mower. I have a hybrid bermuda lawn that I keep cut at a golf course height. I was going to be gone for a few weeks and needed to have a service mow my lawn. On Hand Lawn Care to the rescue. Now they don't have the equipment to mow my yard at 3/4 of an inch, but they did mow it down to 1.5 inches and keep it at that height while I was gone. They even texted photo's after each mow to let me know they had been there. My neighbor even commented that he couldn't believe how good my grass looked. I may have to retire from mowing and hire them for all next year.

At times, we all have things not go the way we would like. However, if we give them a chance to correct any short comings and they do, then we have gained a worthwhile endeavor. I know the owner, and he is a good God-fearing man. None of us are perfect. We all try our best to be the best we can. I believe he has nothing but the best to offer the community. I also think it is fair to mention that not all who post reviews have the best intentions in mind. I say give this company a chance, and once you see the great work they put out, you'll be glad that you did!!!

On Hand Lawn Care is a very professional and reputable lawn company. The ladies in the office are great. They always attend to your questions, needs and any concerns you may have. I have had a very good experience with all of the people I have dealt with.

I called in yesterday to get on their schedule for some flower bed maintenance and the crew showed up the very next day. I could not believe how fast they were out to my property and how quickly they were able to get the job done. My flower bed looks immaculate!

We contacted this company to provide mulch as well as replace the brush in our front yard. This was last year during the summer/fall months in getting quotes for the bushes. We were assured that the bushes they suggested would withstand any winter freeze that we often get during the January/February months. However, these bushes have yet to take any greenery and they have all since DIED! When we reached out to the company about this issue, the woman told my husband, "well, we did quote you below the value of what it actually should have been." That has nothing to do with the fact that we spent nearly $1000 on these bushes for them all do not survive the freeze as we were told (per email) and then no accountability be held with them. It would be wise not to inform a customer that something will survive winter weather when it will in FACT NOT!
We've been waiting for a month now for a mulch quote as a mulch has been looking old and the HOA frowns upon that. Amazing how some companies will complain about not getting business but once they have a loyal customer, they treat them in this manner.

Tread lightly with this company.

Great company, great service. The crew does a killer job every week. Never hear a thing from them and never have a complaint. I pay ahead and they just make it work.

Love this group. I’ve seen their vehicles around for a while since I’ve lived in Savannah. As I’ve had less time to focus on the yard myself I called On Hand. Turns out there was recently a change of ownership and I couldn’t be happier. They have been very responsive and I feel the price options and services provided are perfectly reasonable. But most importantly they do 10x better on my yard than I do and in a 10th of the time. Ready to order my Christmas lights soon too!

We have been using this company for over 3 years. I never thought they did spectacular work, but nonetheless, they were timely and reliable. A couple of months ago, I noticed the grass was too tall, so I sent in an email requesting that they, "lower one notch from what is currently being used". They replied, confirmed and all was well. Fast forward 2 months, I come home to the front yard being scalped; however, they did not do this to the back yard. Upon speaking with the office manager, she determined that this was my fault because I requested that they lower it and that it is a permanent record in their system, "You did not tell us to only lower it one time", Really???. Needless to say, I was shocked. She went on to tell me I wasn't watering enough because it was yellow. I explained to her that it was yellow because they scalped it and that the back yard was nice and green, because they didn't mess it up... I now have the worse yard in my neighborhood, that I was paying to have "professionally" done. Had at any point, the Manager stated, "Mr. Customer, you are correct, we mowed it to short", I would have probably stayed with them... Very disappointing end to a long relationship.

While they have done some good work, their billing seems to be deliberately indecipherable, so that you can be paying $300 a month for basic lawn care services without any explanation. More disconcerting, I spent the better part of $1,000 on rye grass overseeding and the photo reflects what I received after proper watering. When I returned their call after the initial posting, they were entirely unapologetic. But I am still removing their really bad mulch.

Erasmo just took over servicing our neighborhood, and we’re thrilled with the service his team provided for us! They went above and beyond my expectations! They blew off the my back patio and even mowed diagonal lines in the front. The work and care they provided was truly amazing!

I have used On Hand Lawncare for many years. They always provide wonderful service at affordable rates. They offer comprehensive lawncare services from mowing, fertilizing, flower bed maintenance and sprinkler repair. Anytime that I need something done with my yard they are very prompt and professional.

This is my second year with on hand lawn care. I was very happy last year, this year has been met with several frustrations. From the delays in the work to my flower beds and cutting my lawn to short. Once they finally finish my flower beds it does look great. My yard on the other hand after continuing to inform them to stop scalping my yard and the uneven cutting that comes with it looks awful. I finally thought after last week’s mow I had gotten through to them but after this week I gave the company one last chance to make it right. They have now suspended my lawn service and my access to my online profile to see my most recent invoice that is due. The company was recently purchased and is under new ownership.

I am so happy that I found On Hand Lawn Care @ 7 years ago. The guys always did a wonderful job on my lawn and were very professional and friendly. When I needed to call the office the ladies were so friendly, kind, helpful and professional.
Thank you all for helping me keep my home looking loved and cared for on the outside. If I hadn't moved I would be looking forward to another 7 years.

On Hand delivers 100% every time with scheduling and service that is above par. From the office staff to the labor this outfit is top tier all the way, I'd give them 10 stars if I could.. On Hand Lawn Care is the best company we have ever used for all of our outdoor needs! They are a one-stop lawncare company. We have them mow, fertilize, apply weed control, aerate, mulch, plant plants, fix sprinklers, pick up dog waste, etc. on a regular basis, and they do a great job on everything they've done for us! Their office staff is Amazing and great to deal with! They communicate very well. If the crew sees something on the property that needs attention, their staff promptly emails to let us know and asks if we would like them to take care of it. The crew does such a great job on my lawn!! From fertilizing, mowing, etc. They are very meticulous. They have been taking care of my lawn since I moved here 7 years ago and I love my yard!!
