Filled out the form online to get a quote, and said they would call me the next day. called at appointment time, but when the Representative answered they did not know why they were calling me, even though I filled out the form online telling them what I was looking for. told her I wanted an estimate for someone to come out and spray fertilizer and weed control. They gave me a price and we said ok, we would think about it. The next morning someone local called to inquire if we were still interested and try to give us a quote that would work with our budget, I told them we were going a different direction, we would be going with someone local, privately owned, not a corporation or franchise owned company Now they will not stop calling me, I have calls coming from Grand Junction, Fort Collins, Denver, and Loveland I just keep blocking their numbers, must be desperate.

Michael came out today to fertilizer and was very professional and efficient! Explained what he was doing and let me know that my animals were safe to go on the grass after he was done! It’s amazing how well my yard already looks from the first application. I’m anxious to see how it looks with the second one! Very happy with my decision to hire Trugreen

Steve from true green services my lawn today, and has done so in the past. He is very knowledgeable and happy to talk regarding the lawn and giving suggestions on what to do to keep it looking good. With their service my lawn is the envy of the neighborhood! I've used true green for over 30 years and will continue to do so!

TruGreen? More like TruBrown. Killed our beautiful lawns. We have been TruGreen customers for far too long. There are a few large issues I could disclose, but the one that’s worth sharing is the worst. The last service we had on our beautiful, green, healthy front and backyards killed the grass immediately. What was supposed to be fertilizer with slow release ended up being either the wrong solution, the right solution improperly mixed/applied, or just negligence. I contacted the office and even though they seemed concerned and assured me someone would contact me that day to get out here asap they failed to follow up and confirm. Meanwhile my lawn is dead/dying. What is also upsetting, is from the clear dead pattern on the lawns you can see just how lazily and hastily the solutions were applied. It makes you think how many other times the TruGreen service person did a poor job and we were overcharged for bad service. TruGreen devalued my property by destroying one of its best features. I wouldn’t recommend TruGreen. And I’ll be updating the situation as it unfolds.

We decided to use TruGreen last summer because we could not get our grass to grow for years!! We tried doing it on our own, but with 2 dogs and honestly not knowing what we were doing, nothing really worked. Our yard was very patchy, we had brown spots, completely bare spots, and lots of different weeds throughout the lawn. TruGreen did such a great job! They got rid of the weeds, reseeded our lawn, fertilized, and helped us with any questions we had! The pictures I’ve attached were from our backyard in early May of 2025 and then end of September 2025! We’re excited to see what it looks like this summer!

Our happy place!
My boyfriend and I love coming into LGC. Family owned, they take so much care with their plants. Why not get your baby herbs, veggies and flowers at a Big Box ( Home Depot, Lowes, Ace) store, you ask? Well, most of their starters are grown out of state. LGC has their own greenhouses and gives their plants so much care, which in doing so has already acclimated them to Colorado...you'll notice by how well they do when you get them home. Plus, if ever you have a problem or issue, call or take your plant in and they will diagnose the issue, usually a slight tweak.
The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and seemingly qualified to give you advice on the whats, whens and hows of planting.
They also offer tons of fun "accouterments" to your garden- pots, decor, soils, herbicides, etc. It's a beautiful center, obviously run with love. You won't be disappointed. 🌹🌸❤ -
Every plant I’ve bought here has been bug infested. Waste of my money and almost took out my other old and beloved house plants.

Extraordinary service and atmosphere. We have gone there for years and love the Nursery. The staff is so helpful and friendly
The Plants and flowers are amazing -
Better places to do business! Check the warranty policy. This is the only nursery in Fort Collins/Loveland area that makes exchanges or store credits complicated. I had two trees die. Everytime I spoke with the manager how he would exchange the trees changed. I did not have a receipt. They are the only nursery that won't track purchases in a system. So if you do buy hold onto your receipt for a year (honestly in today's world this seems crazy). The manager told me he would give me 1/2 back. So I came in with the 2x dead trees. Now his 1/2 back was for 1/2 off 1 item (not half back on each tree). Every other page is willing to give you 100% back and they track the purchase in their system so you don't need a physical receipt. The trees he had in stock were not what I was looking for and did not look good. I asked if I could use the money on some grasses instead. He said sure 1 grass. So I could get 1/2 off a $350 tree that was dying or 1/2 off a $40 grass.... ny the way I spent $700 on the 2 trees that died. I asked if I could just get a credit and come back when their stock is better. He told me no he will only do it right now.
Just not worth going here when so many other places handle their business so much better for the same price (or less) and have a lot better quality trees. -
The Loveland Garden center is a great place to go to for any of your garden and plants need. Make sure to skip going anywhere else.
Their service is excellent and the variety is high, not to mention that their plants are locally grown. Highly recommend this place to anyone. -
Went in with a small bundle of grass from my lawn looking for someone who could tell me what kind of grass it is to match seed for reseeding. First employee I spoke to referred me to the guys out front. The man I spoke to had no clue what I needed or was trying to accomplish, thought it was ornamental grass and recommended Scott's seed with mulch sold elsewhere. After asking if grass was one of his specialties he referred me to the owner, Debbie. Debbie said there was no way to know, that all the seed they had grew the same exact color grass and after growing would adjust its color to the soil. (Even I know that can't be true having mismatched grass already in the lawn.) Debbie tried selling me on every option available, wouldn't stop talking or machine gunning questions long enough for me to complete a single sentence. The few words I was able to get in were very clearly not being paid much attention as twice she asked me to answer something I said moments before, including the size area I was trying to cover. I'd already told her and she had already even calculated the total area and amount of seed I would need because I asked! In trying to explain I had patches of dead grass in my lawn after being dethatched, I told her it was dead grass coming out of the ground among exposed dirt. The VERY next thing she asked me was so this company used a power rake or whatever and left all the dead grass behind on the lawn? Hello? Is this thing on?? I expect this kind of pushy salesmanship and rudeness with no real knowledge from the average employee but not the owner. I am also nowhere near unintelligent so don't treat me as such. This power battle conversation actually gave me a panic attack. I told her I had to get out of there. She asked if it was my allergies as all the times I cleared my throat trying to speak and signal needing to speak were apparently mistaken as such. My answer was simply, no, and I left it at that walking out. I happened to catch one of my neighbor's lawn guys as soon as I got home. I told him going to Loveland Garden Center was a disaster, I'd never been there before this and hated it. He nodded his head, chuckling in what appeared to be understanding or familiarity. He could tell me exactly what my lawn was and advised me on everything I needed to do. Zero stars for Loveland Garden Center.

Kind of out of the way to get here. Staff was pleasant, selection of plants was ok. The succulent selection was bad and they were priced very high!! I bought a few plants and usually have great success with plants, all the plants I got from here died within a week. Won’t go back.

I love this place. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers. They also have all the tools that you will need for all your gardening projects. I have been a customer here for many years and will continue to be for years to come.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I bought several trees for my property, and having never purchased a tree before I had a lot of questions. I believe the guy helping me was named Matt (sorry if not!). He was able to field all of my questions without any problem, and made me feel as though I was making an informed purchase. Thanks!

really love this local garden center however, just about every plant I buy from them ends up having a considerable amount of aphids on them. Don’t think I’ll be buying any more live plants from them unfortunately.

Friendly and informative staff. I am clueless about plants and I asked a ton of questions regarding peonies abd succulents last year. The lady employee patiently answered all my questions and walked around with me to show the different colors and varieties of peonies. She did all this with a big smile and never made me feel like I was keeping her from her duties. The nursery had a great variety of plants and I can't wait to check them out for Mother's Day!

This is THE go to place to get flowers. My family and I go here before every mother's day to get my mother flowers to plant on mother's day. The staff here are always super nice and friendly.

I'm the Mary Catherine half of the Todd dynasty. I left a 5stars review last year and can't leave a new one under my name so I'm hijacking my husband's account because these wonderful people are beyond worth more praise. I've just returned home from buying soil and so here goes: the lovely women who staff the inside registers are just that... lovely, kind, and more than willing to put up with me when I've no idea what I'm doing. A beyond-awesome man, Cody, loaded my purchases into my car and also put up with me when I lost track of what I was doing. I love this place and I'm coming back with my money-left-over-after-my-bills-are-paid bounty and I'm spending it here. AND... they take great care of their plants. I wish I could give Loveland Garden Center more than 5 stars!

Had the herbs I needed. Wanted fresh instead of grocery store, cheaper too! Said they stock herbs year round.

Cliff was so helpful helping us pick out trees last night and getting them loaded up safely. He was very knowledgeable and such a wonderful help. He even recommended the right amendment soil type and planting tips. Prices were reasonable. Thanks, Cliff!

I love this garden center! I’m here maybe 2xs a month or more to check out new arrivals on the indoor plants. I would love to see more variety of juvenile plants, but the larger ones are priced so great it doesn’t break the bank to get a larger size (I just love to watch my plants grow from a baby sized 2 or 4” pot) Staff is nice at checkout. Nice selection of pots.
