Did you know Loveland Garden Center doesn't stand behind their plants/flowers that they sell ? They grow them onsite but don't guarantee that they will live. I purchased a trailing black eyed Susan that had some discolored leaves, it was the best one in the bunch , I was eager to watch it grow. As a few days past more and more leaves were turning bad. I called and spoke to 1 associate and then the owner, Kevin. They informed me that they don't stand behind their products they sell . Being a nursery , I expect a better plant than if purchased at one of the big box stores. Not so...don't waste your money here. Find it elsewhere where it's less expensive. Those bigger stores like Lowes do stand behind their plants.
All Kevin told me was give it some food. Thanks Kevin, but I'll be shopping elsewhere. Not a good experience from our own Loveland Nursery. Waste of money, not returning , they grow unhealthy plants . -
Been going there 40 years, last fall we bought 9 trees to be planted on our property for aprox $3000 that included installation & all materials, ok that part was done to my satisfaction, two of the trees didn't make it through the winter, we lost the very small receipt we were given, we went in to see what could be done, we explained to the owner who was working at the counter, but he wouldn't speak to us without a receipt, we asked if he would pull up the order on his comp system he said no you must have the receipt somewhere, and blew us off. We will never go there again

The best nursery within a 50 mile radius! We've been to many in FoCo and they are the best! Wonderful selection of healthy veggie and aromatic starters as well as fruit trees. Prices are reasonable and they're very helpful!

It is always a place I enjoy yo visit. They have unusual and unique lawn and garden art work, statues, water fixtures, benches and wall art. Then they have beautiful pots of every size and shape. Now that's just what I noticed when driving up. They have a large outdoor section of plants that I have not had the pleasure to visit yet. I have been in their greenhouse twice now and I have only touched the surface. I enjoy walking around and exploring all the little areas of treasures they have. Not only the plants from their huge baskets of ferns to the small succulents. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It's not a place I personally go to when I am on the fly. It is an experience each and every time for me.

I've checked out all the nurseries between Loveland and FoCo over the last year and I have to say that the plants at Loveland Garden Center seem very unhealthy compared to the other places in town. Well, some of the plants come from other pgrowers that sell to all the nurseries and those plants tend to look the same everywhere.
But the stuff they grow in house just seems lower quality than elsewhere.
They also don't really much of a native plants section companies to other nurseries in the area, although they do have some native plants interspersed with their non natives.
I ended up buying a tree (not grown in house), and we'll see how it does. But while there were other species I was interested in I just didn't want to take the chance.
I did find some of the staff friendly, but overall I think it's worth the extra 10 minutes to drive up to FoCo. -
So big! The greenhouse is huge and full of maure well taken care of hanging baskets. Once you get through the beauty of the inside you can stroll outside for a wide variety of shrubs and trees. Each staff that we passed along the way made sure to ask if we are finding everything alright or if we need help. Great place and great service! We'll done!

A clean, well organized nursery with friendly and helpful staff is pretty hard to find. I absolutely love this greenhouse. The employees don't harass you as soon as you walk in the door and give you a chance to browse through all of the lovely plants. Never once has anyone tried to get me to buy something I didn't need. That being said I've always been treated so wonderfully when I ask for advice or help finding something. A few times the person I asked (probably a newer employee) doesn't know the answer, but they just radio in my question and I always learn what I need to.
All of the plants are super healthy. I have a LOT of house plants from here and not a single one has ever gotten mealy bugs, gnats or spider mites (with stuff I've purchased from other greenhouses, I've had terrible luck with pests)
Their potting soil is the best around. Seriously it's worth the trip! You will never open a bag and get a face full of gnats like with dreaded miracle grow soil :/ and it holds moisture without rotting the roots of your plants.
I've only had one plant die and they replaced it when I brought it back in which is going above and beyond what other greenhouses will do.. Love this place. -
I love this place! Staff is always friendly and helpful, I’ve never not found what I needed plus extra goodies I didn’t know I wanted. Great selection of house plants and decorations, great selection & very fair prices for vegetable starts, and I LOVE the holiday supplies at the end of the year. We bought our Christmas tree there last year and it was the best tree we’ve ever had. So grateful for this sweet family run business in our town!

Rude service behind the counter. I've been a customer for over 10 years and still get treated like they don't want my business every time.

I bought all my flowers here this year. The selection is wonderful and the quality is by far the best. They have a huge selection and the owner is extremely kind and gracious! This is my forever go to in Loveland!

Update: I appreciate the owner contacting me below and apologizing. I've shopped here before and always had a good experience so perhaps this was a bad day for their employee. I'd prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt.
My experience: I went today to buy plants. I picked out a lovely plant that had a sticker price that was worn off. That indicted $7.99. There was no prices posted anywhere else. I noticed the same plane in the same size pot was labeled $6.99. I took the plant I liked and assumed the cashier would know the price. When I got up there she didn’t know. I told her that one was marked $7.99 and another one was marked $6.99. She decided to charge me $8.99. I explained that that was more than they were asking. I took her back to show her the display. She was irritated and annoyed. She never apologized nor did she acknowledge that the price was $6.99. She was rude. She lost a customer. I will find another place to shop.
UPDATE: I accept their apology and plan to give them a another chance. I hope you will go in and judge for yourself. Thank you Matt and Kevin -
Always a great selection of healthy plants to choose from. Well laid out, easy to shop, lots of help, more plants than you can shake two sticks at!

There is a large and nice selection of plants here. The reason for my review (which I hesitate to ever write a negative review-I love supporting local garden centers) is due to a very rude employee. He was working outside yesterday, first led my friend in a totally wrong direction about a plant she wanted. A nice older gentleman helped right away where it was a large area of them-not an obscure plant. Then she realized she got a dwarf plant and asked the original employee if she could run to get the regular size (11 minutes before closing them), and he was clearly upset and told her he guaranteed they weren’t the same price. We checked, they were the same price. Then he told me the owners were hurrying us to get out and yelled at me that I was leaving from the wrong door. I totally understand wanting to go home on a Sunday, holiday weekend. But there was no need to be so rude and unhelpful, we still left on time. I will not be returning and as an avid member of the plant community I will not be recommending either.

Rude employees! The guys outside, instead of asking if the customer needs help with purchasing something, they make rude comments about where you can park? If that is the case, maybe "No parking " signs should be posted!

Love love the outside perennial area… lots to choose from and staff are pretty knowledgeable. As for the annuals section, it’s decent for the size of this nursery, but I wish they had a few more varieties to choose from. I love that their houseplant section always seems to have some oddball— I’ve found a few hidden gems here. Lastly, the pesticide and soil section is okay… I just wish they’d bring back pumice! Overall, this is a pretty great nursery (:

They have a great variety. They helped me find a perfect mix of plants for our garden.

There are so many options here for plants (edible, indoor, outdoor), tools, soils, fertilizers, mulch, garden ornaments and more. The employees are really helpful and knowledgeable!
